Mommy,We Got a Husband
Chapter 365 Why So Passionate Tonight?

Stellan and Cormac rolled up to the Knight Mansion together. Alaric glanced at the clock and raised an eyebrow.

"Yo, what's up with you two being back so early? And together? Isn't the company swamped?" Alaric asked.

Cormac shrugged. "Nah, the company's cruising. Unless there's some big decision to make, we don't need to be all up in it 24/7."

"Fair enough," Alaric said, "I was just about to hop in the car to pick you up and grab the kids. Didn't expect you two to show up already."

"Let the driver handle it," Stellan chimed in. "I've told you, you need to chill. Driving now and then is cool, but not every day."

"Exactly," Cormac added, "If you don't follow the doc's orders, Galatea's gonna be stressing about you at work and won't be able to focus. She is back so early for you." Alaric chuckled, shaking his head. "Yeah, yeah, my bad. I'll listen to Galatea and let the driver get the kids today."

Cormac nodded. "Good call."

Just then, Cormac's phone buzzed. It was Rowena. He picked up.

"Cormac, you heading back soon? Dinner's ready," Rowena said.

Cormac checked the time, surprised she was done so fast. "Yeah, I'm on my way."

Even though they couldn't hear Rowena, Alaric and Stellan could guess from Cormac's reaction.

"Rowena's got dinner ready, huh?" Alaric teased. "You give me grief about Galatea, but you've got Rowena cooking for you while you're out and about."

Cormac felt a bit awkward. They hadn't confessed their feelings yet, even though they lived under the same roof, each in their own room.

"Cut the crap. You guys eat too. I'm out." With that, Cormac headed out.

As soon as Cormac left, Stellan wrapped her arms around Alaric's neck, her mind flashing back to that bloody photo of him.

After everything they'd been through, she was terrified that Alaric, who'd just dodged death, might leave her again.

"Alaric, I love you so much..." Stellan whispered.

Alaric looked down, puzzled by her sudden emotion. "What's up? Where is that coming from?"

Stellan couldn't spill the truth, so she fibbed. "I had a nightmare during my nap. Dreamed you got killed by some bad guys. It freaked me out." Alaric shook his head with a helpless smile. "You know dreams are usually the opposite, right? No one's taking me out. Don't worry, okay?" Stellan admired Alaric, but she knew he was still human, not invincible.

She couldn't say more. Instead, she stood on her tiptoes and kissed him, pouring all her passion and fear into it.

Just then, Caspian, Harry, and Elisa strolled into the hall, catching sight of their parents mid-makeout session.

Caspian cleared his throat loudly.

Hearing the kids, Stellan quickly pulled away from Alaric, stepping out of his embrace. This was the second time they'd been caught, and it was super embarrassing. They should've learned their lesson the first time, but emotions just took over, making it hard to control.

"Dad, Mom, can you keep it PG? If you wanna do that, go to your room and shut the door. Do you know what this does to our young minds?" Harry said, rolling his eyes. Their PDA made the kids feel like they were witnessing something they really shouldn't.

"Sorry, we'll be more careful," Alaric promised.

"I've seen it twice now. Seriously, be more careful," Elisa said, shaking her head like a adult. "It's really awful."

Seeing the kids act all grown-up, Alaric and Stellan couldn't help but laugh.

Ever since they reunited and became a real family, life had been sweet. The couple was loving, and the kids were smart and sensible. It was perfect.

Because of their current happiness, they couldn't handle any unexpected shocks. Stellan believed her decision was right. Even if Brennan knew, he'd understand. After dinner, the kids obediently went back to their rooms.

After Alaric and Stellan took a bath, they headed to their room together. As soon as they entered, Stellan locked the door, kicked off her slippers, and stood barefoot on Alaric's feet, wrapping her arms around his neck and kissing him. "Why so fired up tonight?" Alaric asked, pleasantly surprised by Stellan's enthusiasm.

Stellan didn't say anything, just kept kissing him. Her bathrobe slipped off, revealing her silky smooth skin.

Faced with Stellan's fiery passion, Alaric quickly took the lead, wrapping his arms around her and kissing her back.

Once on the bed, Alaric moved on top of her, but Stellan, like a wild kitten, quickly flipped over and took charge.

Alaric said, "With you being so passionate tonight, if I don't do something, it feels like I'm letting you down."

Hearing this, Stellan instantly sobered up and punched him hard, saying, "Don't even think about it for the next six months. You're lucky I'm letting you kiss and hug me. You actually have such excessive thoughts. Do you not care about your body?"

"Just kissing and hugging?" Alaric was really bummed. "And no sex for six months?"

"I've already told you this," Stellan sternly reminded him, "For your future happiness, endure this period. Got it?"

"Got it," Alaric said, then pounced on her again, "Since I can't do anything excessive, let me kiss you enough."

As Alaric kissed her, Stellan didn't resist. Just as he said, after kissing her enough, he held her in his arms and prepared to sleep.

Alaric quickly fell asleep, but Stellan couldn't sleep at all. Every time she closed her eyes, she saw that bloodied photo of him, and she couldn't shake it off.
