The media was rife with speculation about Stellan's attitude.

Ambrose's phone rang while he was also watching the live broadcast. Seeing it was Stuart calling, he quickly paused the broadcast.

He answered the call. "Hello, Dad."

"Is what Stellan said to the media true?" Since Todd's death, Stuart had been in mourning and had not been involved in the company's affairs, leaving everything to Ambrose.

Ambrose explained, "I absolutely didn't mean that. I won't forget Todd's death. I thought that since Alaric isn't at the company right now, and Stellan is an outsider, I could persuade her to cooperate with us. First, to make some money from Nexus Innovations, and more importantly, to get close to her and avenge Todd. But she didn't appreciate it at all and directly rejected me, showing no mercy in front of the media."

Ambrose had no choice but to curse Stellan to appease Stuart.

Ambrose said, "Okay."

After agreeing, Ambrose hung up and angrily threw his phone aside.

Todd, that useless fool, was dead, yet Stuart still cared about him, always demanding that he kill Alaric and Stellan for revenge.

But now, with Neil closely watching him, how could he possibly get away if he killed Alaric and Stellan?

Stuart only cared about Todd, completely disregarding Ambrose 's life.

Just after finishing the live broadcast, Alaric received a video call from Caspian. He immediately answered.

In the video, the three kids and Aurora were lying on a comfortable hotel bed, greeting him.

"Daddy, we visited so many places today and just got back to the hotel," Elisa said excitedly.

Alaric asked with a smile, "Did you have fun?"

"Yes!" the four kids said in unison.

"Be good and listen to Cormac and Rowena. If they're not around, listen to Aurora and don't run off," Alaric instructed. "Don't worry, Dad, we always do," Caspian said to him, then asked with concern, "How have you been feeling lately, Dad?" "Much better," Alaric replied, "You all have fun and don't worry about me."

"Okay!" Harry said first, "We're going to rest for a bit and then head to the night market."

Alaric said, "Stay safe and have fun."

"Okay!" the four kid replied in unison.

The kids were incredibly happy on this trip. Aurora had never traveled before, let alone gone abroad, and was extremely excited.

Caspian, Harry, and Elisa were also in high spirits, excited about everything they did.

"Get ready, kids. We're going to the night market," Rowena called out to them.

"Coming!" The four of them jumped off the bed immediately.

Cormac and Rowena then took the four kids to the night market. Cormac carried Elisa, Rowena walked beside him, and Aurora, Caspian, and Harry followed along. "I never dreamed I could go abroad. It's so surreal!" Aurora felt like she was dreaming.

"Aurora, you're a top student. Maybe you'll get a scholarship to study abroad someday," Elisa said.

Aurora said sweetly, "Thanks for the good wishes, Elisa."

"When I say something good, it always comes true," Elisa said with a smile.

"You can always trust Elisa's words; they're spot on," Caspian said supportively.

"Yeah, good things don't come true, but bad things do. She's spot on," Harry teased.

Elisa gritted her teeth. "Harry, I really want to silence you with poison."

"No!" Harry immediately apologized. "I'm sorry. Please don't curse me like that."

Cormac and Rowena couldn't help but laugh. Rowena said, "These three kids are so adorable. If they were mine, I'd be over the moon with joy."

"If you like kids so much, hurry up and have some with Uncle Cormac," Harry said quickly, "Look, he isn't getting any younger. If you don't have kids soon, he'll be too old."

Upon hearing this, Cormac couldn't help but tap Harry on the head and said, "Don't say that, Elisa. I also want to silence you with poison."

"I'm just telling the truth, Uncle Cormac. You can't be so selfish. Aunt Rowena can't wait forever. Having kids is very painful. We all know that Mommy almost died giving birth to us.
