Mommy,We Got a Husband
Chapter 292 Are You Two Going on a Honeymoon?

Alaric was drunk tonight; he was constantly dizzy. Seeing him so uncomfortable, Stellan truly regretted it.

Cormac wasn't an outsider, so not drinking wouldn't have been a big deal. However, she indulged Alaric, and what happened after that? He felt so unwell that she didn't dare to sleep all night, afraid that if Alaric had a sudden illness, she wouldn't hear it while asleep.

After dawn, upon seeing Alaric awake, she quickly asked, "How are you feeling? Still have a headache?"

"Better." Alaric realized Stellan hadn't slept all night. He asked guiltily, "Didn't sleep at all last night?"

"What do you think?" Stellan was really about to complain, "You said it yourself that I'm a log when I sleep. If you had an episode while I was asleep, what would happen then?"

Hearing Stellan say this, Alaric felt even more guilty and quickly said, "I'm really sorry, honey. I'm fine now.You should get some sleep."

"You're not going to the office today. Stay home and behave," Stellan instructed.

"Okay, I won't go anywhere today and won't see anyone who comes, and I will stay home with you all day," Alaric assured.

"If you don't, I'll cripple you," Stellan threatened, then yawned and said, "I can't hold on any longer, I need to sleep."

"Yeah, go to sleep." Alaric tucked Stellan in, feeling really guilty seeing her like this. To prevent Stellan from worrying like this again, he really couldn't delay any longer. He needed to cure his aftereffects soon so Stellan could be at ease. Alaric closed his eyes and rested for a while, then got up. He had a simple breakfast, and by noon, he specially cooked Stellan's favorite dishes.

"Awake?" Alaric asked softly when he saw Stellan wake up.

"Yeah, awake." Stellan glanced at the dishes on the table and said, "You cooked again; you are so nice!"

"I drank too much last night and made you take care of me all night. I naturally have to make it up to you. Come and eat," Alaric said.

"Okay." Stellan lazily responded while rubbing her eyes, then went to the bathroom to freshen up a bit before returning to the table.

The food Alaric had made was really to her taste. While eating, Stellan couldn't help but say, "It's fine if you cook occasionally, but you can't do it every day. Every time you cook, I finish it all. If you cook every day, I'll soon become a fatty." "You'd still be beautiful even if you were a fatty." Alaric sweetly said, then seriously added, "Honey, you're right. I can't delay any longer. I'll go to the office tomorrow to arrange my work and then start the treatment."

Hearing this, Stellan put down her utensils and said seriously, "This time you must follow through. Go to the office tomorrow and arrange everything."

"Yeah, but you said the treatment course takes about a month. A month is quite long, and it can't be hidden," Alaric said worriedly.

"Last time Caspian came to the lounge to find me, he was really scared. Elisa is even more timid. Last time I was unwell, she cried. Find an excuse to let the three of them stay at school. Hide it as long as we can," Alaric decided. Despite their youth, these three kids were sensitive. Seeing Alaric in pain would greatly distress them.

"Yeah, maybe we can tell them we're going on a honeymoon. Hopefully, they'll buy it," Stellen brought up.

"We got married and never went on a honeymoon. This excuse should work," Alaric said.

"Yeah," Stellan responded perfunctorily, then looked at him with concern and said, "Actually, if it could be delayed, I wouldn't want to rush your treatment. Last time, after two injections, you couldn't eat for days and lost a lot of weight. So much has happened recently, and you haven't regained the weight you lost last time. This time, it'll be a month, and you'll definitely lose more weight."

"Don't worry about that. I'm in great shape. I'm a medical miracle who woke up after being in a coma for three years. Once the treatment is over, I'll gain the weight back in no time." Alaric comforted Stellan instead. Stellan didn't want to discourage him, so she quickly said, "Yes, you were a special forces soldier, after all. You're in great shape. Maybe you'll be cured after one treatment course and gain back the weight you lost." "Exactly!" Alaric said.

"This time, let's do it at home? In the company's lounge, you're always thinking about work, even when lying down," Stellen suggested.

"Okay, anything you say," Alaric replied.

"Alright, let's eat." Stellan adjusted her mood and said, "Today, we're just resting. After eating, we'll go out for a walk. I need to buy some supplements for you in advance." "The treatment hasn't even started, and you're already buying supplements? So early?" Alaric asked.

"Of course, we need to be prepared. Hurry up and eat, then we'll go shopping," Stellen arranged.

"Okay."

They had been together for so long, and honestly, Alaric had never gone shopping alone with Stellan. So today, he would accompany her properly. Just as Stellan said, she had a purpose in buying supplements. She didn't look at anything else, just bought a bunch of supplements for him.

They went home first, hid the supplements, and then went together to pick up Caspian, Harry, and Elisa.

Today, they had a test. Caspian got a perfect score, but Harry got one question wrong. This gave Caspian a chance to find his weakness and he didn't miss any opportunity to mock him. "You couldn't even get a perfect score on elementary school questions, and you still call yourself a genius."

Harry was indeed a bit embarrassed this time but still tried to hold on. "I was just a bit careless. How could I not know such simple questions?"

"Whether it's carelessness or not knowing, you didn't get a perfect score," Caspian said smugly.

"I admit I didn't get a perfect score this time. But I haven't said anything about you, Caspian. You really can't take a loss." Harry pointed at Caspian's shoes and said, "Just because Aurora said you're shorter than me, you secretly wore height- increasing insoles. That's too much."

"These aren't height-increasing insoles. The shoes just have a slightly higher sole, that's all," Caspian explained.

"If they're not height-increasing insoles, then they're obviously height-increasing shoes. Can't take a loss!" Harry argued.

"I didn't," Caspian denied.

"Alright, you two can argue over the smallest things." Stellan interrupted their argument and got straight to the point, "I have something to tell you three. Your dad and I are planning to go on a honeymoon, so we can't take care of you for a while. How about you stay at school?"

"You two are going on a honeymoon?" Elisa asked in surprise.

"Yes," Stellan replied.

Elisa continued asking, "You should go on a honeymoon, but last time you two went on a trip for a long time. Will this time be long too?"

Elisa still didn't know about Stellan's car accident, but Caspian and Harry did. Hearing Elisa say this, the two of them immediately exchanged a look and became worried.
