Alaric and Stellan were exhausted these past couple of days. They finally wrapped up their work and wanted a break, but Richard's agent showed up at Nexus Innovations. Rowena and Richard, the designated ambassadors, expressed their gratitude to Alaric and requested a dinner meeting.

Normally, Alaric would have said no, but he was curious about Rowena, hoping she was the one he was thinking of, so he agreed.

"You agreed to dinner because of that Rowena, right?" Stellan asked, seeing right through him.

"Yeah, I'm curious," Alaric admitted.

"Me too," Stellan said, intrigued. "I want to see if this Rowena is the girl Cormac's been pining for. If she is, I really want to meet her." "We'll find out tonight," Alaric said.

He then turned to Caspian, Harry, and Elisa. "You three want to join us?"

"No!" they said in unison.

Alaric and Stellan were surprised. When did the kids start thinking alike?

"Your adult dinners are so boring," Caspian said.

"Yeah, all you talk about are billion-dollar deals, making it seem like making money is easy. Plus, everyone around you is always flattering you, which is so annoying," Harry added. "Right, it's so dull I'd rather stay home and watch cartoons," Elisa chimed in.

Alaric and Stellan were speechless.

Why were the kids' complaints so spot-on?

"Fine, if you don't want to go, stay home and behave. No mischief," Stellan said.

Just as the kids were about to respond, she added, "And no fighting!"

This was aimed at Caspian and Harry, who always seemed to argue when together.

"As long as Harry doesn't start anything, I won't bother him," Caspian said.

Harry scoffed, "Caspian, don't flatter yourself. If you don't provoke me, do you think I care enough to bother with you?"

"Who always starts it, Rook? You should know," Caspian retorted.

"I know very well. You always act like my dad just because you were born a few minutes earlier, always lecturing me in that old-fashioned way. Isn't that you?" Harry shot back. Seeing them start to argue again, Alaric and Stellan exchanged glances.

"Forget what I said earlier," Stellan sighed. "You two can argue all you want. If arguing isn't enough, go ahead and fight. I'm curious to see who would win."

"Right," Alaric added, stirring the pot. "Fight all you want. If you tear the house down, we can just move. Go for it."

Caspian and Harry both fell silent.

After encouraging them, Alaric and Stellan left. Elisa was the most disheartened.

She sighed deeply and said, "I can't help it. Let it all end."

Elisa went upstairs, leaving Caspian and Harry to handle the battlefield. A fierce look passed between them, indicating they no longer had the energy for argument. Tonight's dinner was at a top-tier club chosen by Richard, who was hosting. It was in the largest private room on the top floor.

When Alaric and Stellan arrived, Rowena and Richard were already there.

Seeing them enter, Richard hurriedly went to greet them, with Rowena following behind.

"Mr. Knight, Mrs. Knight, I'm honored you could join us for dinner," Richard said eagerly, shaking Alaric's hand.

Tonight, they were having dinner with Alaric and Stellan. Richard had gone all out with the preparations out of respect.

Rowena was the hottest female singer at the moment, and Richard, despite the criticism for his acting, was a top-tier male star with massive popularity.

"Nice to meet you," Alaric said with a polite smile in response to Richard's enthusiasm.

"Rowena," Richard said after shaking Alaric's hand. Rowena stepped forward, smiling gently at Alaric and Stellan. "Hello, Mr. Knight, Mrs. Knight."

Rowena was well acquainted with Alaric's name, frequently mentioned by Cormac when they were together. Although they had not met since Alaric wasn't in Arizona at the time, she found him now to be just as Cormac had portrayed. "Hello, Miss Rowena," Alaric said politely, nodding and smiling at her.

Seeing Rowena in person, Stellan had a great first impression. Rowena seemed gentle and gave off a very comfortable vibe.

"I've been listening to your songs these past few days. Your voice is so unique and recognizable, and your songs are wonderful. You're so talented, writing, composing, and playing instruments. It's amazing," Stellan said. Stellan had genuinely enjoyed Rowena's music.

"Thank you, Mrs. Knight. You're too kind," Rowena said.

"Not at all," Stellan replied..

Stellan had never been a fan of celebrities, but after listening to Rowena's songs and meeting her, she felt like she had become a fan, even though she knew nothing about music and was tone-deaf.

Rowena blushed slightly at Stellan's praise.

"Let's sit down," Alaric said.

After he spoke, Stellan took Rowena's hand and sat her down next to her.

"I must toast Mr. Knight with this first drink, thanking him for choosing us as the ambassadors for the entertainment center. It's an honor," Richard said, raising his glass.

Alaric felt a bit guilty about his thanks, as he had only chosen Rowena. Richard was a decision made by the operations department, and he hadn't been involved.

"Choosing both of you was a natural fit," Alaric responded courteously. "To our mutual success. I look forward to a fruitful collaboration."

"Mr. Knight, everyone says you are the most valuable young entrepreneur in the business world. Meeting you today, I can see it's true. Your demeanor and conversation are truly extraordinary," Richard said. Stellan couldn't help but think of Harry's words about everyone around Alaric flattering him excessively.

Wasn't Richard doing the same? Alaric hadn't even said much.

Stellan no longer wanted to listen to Richard; she just needed to find a chance to ask Rowena about Cormac.

"Mr. Richard, you're too kind," Alaric said, raising his teacup. "I can't drink alcohol, so I'll use tea instead."

Hearing that Alaric couldn't drink, Richard immediately looked at Stellan, then smiled knowingly and said, "Understood. Drinking is bad for your health. Mrs. Knight, being a renowned doctor, is right. It's better to drink less." With that, Richard also switched his drink to tea, which surprised Stellan.

After the first cup of tea, Richard tried to find another topic. "Mr. Knight and Mrs. Knight's relationship is truly enviable, a model for couples. I hope that when Rowena and I get married, we can be as loving as you two." Alaric and Stellan were both stunned.

Stellan couldn't help but ask, "You two are a couple?"
