Mommy,We Got a Husband
Chapter 204 Your Ex-husband Is Coming to See You

"Cormac, I know you find it hard to believe, and you don't want to believe it, but it's the truth. If Jason Gray's confession isn't enough, I'll find other evidence. And I'll also pursue the matter of Griffon tampering with DNA results six years ago." Hearing Alaric's words, Cormac's whole body trembled, and he became extremely nervous. He looked at Alaric and asked, "What are you planning to do? How will you pursue it?"

Alaric added, "What do you think? Six years ago, Griffon tampered with DNA results, causing irreversible damage to the Knight family. Galatea almost died in the delivery room. For so many years, I didn't even know I had two children out there!"

Alaric sighed, "And Caspian is clearly my son, who was estranged from my mom for so many years. Our family has been separated for so long because of Griffon's selfishness. And Griffon even wanted Galatea dead. Moreover, Griffon's crimes don't stop there. What about the doctor he bribed to alter the DNA results back then? Why is it that even now, I still can't find him?"

After hearing what Alaric said, Cormac completely broke down. Did Griffon really do all this?

Cormac murmured, "How could he be so heartless? Why would he do such heinous things?"

"Cormac, the facts are right in front of us. We can't deny them." Alaric stood up, patted Cormac on the shoulder, and said, "Whether he did these things or not, the law will give us the fairest answer."

With that, Alaric was about to leave. Galatea was still waiting for him in the lounge. But Cormac hurriedly called out to him.

"Are you planning to sue him?" Cormac's voice trembled.

Alaric retorted, "Do you think I shouldn't? He's done so many heinous things. I've let him get away with it for so many years. It's enough!"

Cormac whispered, "If all the charges are proven, he..."

Alaric looked at him. "If Griffon already killed that doctor from six years ago, and if all the charges are proven, then a life for a life is the fairest outcome."

A life for a life?

Although Cormac also hated Griffon, Griffon was still his father.

"Alaric, is there no room for mercy? Must it end in his death?"

Alaric said, "I have no choice. Cormac, I know it's hard for you to accept. No matter how much you hate him, he's still your father, and you don't want him to die. But don't expect me to let him go. Griffon did all these heinous things ultimately for Orion. But he never thought that while Orion was his daughter, Galatea was also someone's daughter. Galatea almost died in the delivery room six years ago. How heartbroken would Brennan be if he knew? And for so many years, she has been raising Harry and Elisa alone, struggling so much. Griffon caused all of this."

Alaric added, "And Griffon had shown no remorse. He even orchestrated a car accident to try to kill Galatea. Griffon could go to any lengths to make Orion happy. But Griffon never thought that Galatea was also a cherished daughter to her parents and a mother to three children. If she died, those three children would lose their mother forever. He never thought about that, so he deserves to die!"

With that, Alaric walked away briskly, while Cormac's body had completely given out. He didn't even have the strength to stand up from his seat.

Was this all true? Did Griffon really do all these terrible things?

Alaric admitted that he was too emotional just now because he was filled with hatred. He had always seen Griffon as his father, and the Knight family and the Nash family were old friends.

But what had Griffon done to the Knight family? They could have been a happy family, but Griffon's selfishness caused them to miss out on so many years together.

When Alaric returned to the lounge, it was already late. Galatea hadn't slept either. Seeing him return, she quickly approached him, but the smell of alcohol hit her immediately.

Galatea was really angry. "Alaric, you've been drinking? I just gave you a treatment shot yesterday. Do you know..."

Before Galatea could finish her sentence, Alaric pulled her into a tight embrace. Galatea could feel the heaviness of his heart at that moment.

"What happened?" Galatea was momentarily stunned. "Did something happen?"

"I'm sorry, Galatea." Alaric felt a deep sense of guilt. He felt like he had failed her. "I've caused you so much pain, and I haven't protected you well."

If it weren't for Ravenna, he would never have suspected that car accident. He would never have known that the accident Galatea experienced was not an accident.

He brought all these disasters upon Galatea.

"What exactly happened? Why are you suddenly saying this?" Galatea asked again.

"Nothing." Alaric decided not to tell her about these things. He then changed the subject and asked, "Didn't I tell you not to wait for me and to go to bed early? Why are you still up?" Galate said, "I can't sleep if you're not back."

And she had something to tell Alaric.

"By the way, didn't you say you had something to tell me? What is it?" Alaric didn't want to think about Griffon anymore.

Seeing that Alaric was not in a good mood, Galatea suddenly hesitated about whether to tell him. "Do you want to know now?"

Seeing Galatea's hesitant look, Alaric smiled and said, "If it's something you want to tell me, I'm always willing to know."

Galate sighed, "I'm afraid that if I tell you, you'll feel even worse."

Alaric said gently, "Now I'm even more curious and want to know what you have to say. Go ahead."

"I contacted Marigold again today, but it wasn't Marigold who answered the phone; it was her butler. He said that the man also knows about this matter and that he will come to talk to me." Alaric laughed and teased, "Oh, your ex-husband is coming to see you?"

"Yes." Galatea was really nervous. She didn't know who that man was.

"Are you looking forward to it?" Although Alaric knew the truth, he couldn't help but tease Galatea, seeing her so clueless.

"Looking forward to meeting that bad man?" Alaric asked deliberately.
