Chapter 183 Ambrose's Anger
Chapter 183 Ambrose's Anger
Alaric confronted the issue directly. Upon hearing this, Ambrose smiled bitterly. "Mr. Alaric, you are truly perceptive, or perhaps Stellan really likes you now and is willing to tell you everything."
"Indeed, she is willing to tell me everything, including..." Alaric paused for a moment, then intensified his tone, "The fact that you used vague and baseless evidence to threaten my wife to leave me and go back to you." Upon hearing this, Ambrose nervously swallowed, not expecting that even Stellan would discuss such matters with Alaric.
Stellan left no room for ambiguity in their relationship, or rather, had fallen deeply in love with Alaric beyond redemption.
"Ambrose, no explanations?" Alaric asked when Ambrose remained silent.
Ambrose clenched his fists tightly, taking a deep breath and saying, "Since Mr. Alaric already knows everything, what else is there for me to explain? I never imagined the world would be so small; the girl I have always remembered, now happens to be your fiancée."
"I don't care why you left her before, but the past is the past. As you said, Stellan is now my fiancée. If you dare to behave inappropriately toward her again, I will make you regret it."
Alaric's words were not forceful, but the underlying threat was palpable.
Ambrose forced a bitter smile and asked, "Mr. Alaric, are you sure the past is truly behind us? Are you certain that Stellan has completely forgotten about me?"
"Ambrose, stop deceiving yourself. If Stellan still had feelings for you, why would she openly discuss these matters with me? Conversely, if you truly cared for her, why do you act like a coward when you meet her?"
He was crouching in front of Stellan without acknowledgment!
This statement completely trampled on Ambrose's dignity, causing him to clench his fists tightly, Suppressing the raging anger within him, albeit reluctantly.
"This is my first and final warning. If you dare to approach Galatea again, I will make you lose everything!"
The final words struck Ambrose deeply.
Losing everything-Ambrose had worked hard to reach his current position, and now, with just a few words from Alaric, he stood to lose it all!
"You don't need me to elaborate on your background. Although your abilities surpass Todd Vale's, he is favored. Otherwise, after you joined the company, Mr. Todd Senior deliberately changed the Vale Group to Far East International. You understand the significance of Nexus Innovations Entertainment City better than anyone."
Upon hearing this, Ambrose bit his lip tightly, as if trying to draw blood, his body trembling uncontrollably.
His background was his weakness, or rather, his shame.
Ambrose's mother was a shameless woman who seduced Mr. Todd Senior and became pregnant, extorting him afterward. Mr. Todd Senior harbored deep resentment toward his mother.
When she abandoned him, Ambrose had to go to the Vale family, enduring their cold stares and bullying, especially from Todd Vale!
Every day in the Vale family, Ambrose was tormented. He vowed to rise above it all, to reach a director's position, and to trample Mr. Todd Senior and Todd Vale underfoot.
After finally securing the Nexus Innovations Entertainment City project and earning Mr. Todd Senior's approval, losing this project now would likely leave him with no place in the company. He hated-How he hated!
"In the future, all site coordination will be handled by the engineering department. You are not allowed to set foot in the Nexus Innovations headquarters again, let alone approach Galatea. Once the entertainment city project is completed, get out of Arizona immediately."
Ambrose's eyes narrowed, seething with suppressed anger.
"Get out!"
After Alaric spoke, he lowered his head and continued working, leaving Ambrose no choice but to leave.
Once outside Nexus Innovations, Ambrose raced back to his office, venting his frustration by smashing everything on his desk.
He bellowed, "Alaric, how dare you threaten me!"
The meeting with Alaric had deeply affected Ambrose, and he could no longer contain his inner rage. After smashing everything on his desk and pounding it with his fists, Denny stood by, too frightened to speak.
"CEO Ambrose." Seeing Ambrose's hand bleeding from the impact, Denny hurriedly called out.
But before he could finish, Ambrose grabbed Denny by the collar, roaring in anger. "Alaric, Todd Vale, what are they besides being lucky? Why do they have such good fortune? Why do they have everything handed to them from birth while I struggle to obtain even one thing!"
Ambrose's expression shifted from fierce pain to sorrow, then to hatred.
Denny understood Ambrose well, as he himself came from a humble background and had always struggled.
"CEO Ambrose, as you said, those people are just lucky. They have no real abilities; they are all just trash who will eventually fall from grace."
"Yes, trash, they are all a bunch of trash, a group of stinking garbage!" Ambrose expressed his hatred, "One day, I will bring them all down. Those who once trampled on me deserve to die!"
"Yes, CEO Ambrose, they all deserve to die!" Denny quickly agreed, "They will all meet a bad end."
After that, he cautiously asked, "Alaric cares so much about Ms. Storm. CEO Ambrose, what do you plan to do?"
Upon hearing the question, Ambrose's dark eyes narrowed, and he spoke clearly, "I have said it before. I want both Stellan and the directors of the Vale Group. Alaric, a half-dead, sickly guy, who dares to challenge me! Alaric, you dare to threaten me, I will show you the consequences."
Denny said, "Yes, if Alaric's illness worsens, he might end up in hell. Nothing to fear."
Ambrose fell silent, then after a moment, he cautioned Denny. "Continue to protect Stellan's bodyguards discreetly, but they must be vigilant and avoid any surveillance."
Alaric exploited his weakness now. Ambrose couldn't afford to slip up and give Alaric the upper hand, or he would never have a chance to turn the tables!
