Mommy,We Got a Husband
Chapter 126 That Old Witch Actually Insulted Mommy!

"I also didn't expect that you'd be flirting with Galatea while hospitalized," Cormac said. He glanced at Galatea, who had run out of the room with a red face. He asked, "Did you two make up?"

"There wasn't really a fight to begin with."

Hearing this, Cormac cursed him in his heart. Wasn't it thanks to him that they reconciled? He put in so much effort into defending Alaric to Galatea.

"Mrs. Marigold called me, asking about your hospitalization. I've been worried all along, afraid that she'd come rushing over to visit you. I didn't expect it not to affect you at all," Cormac said. "My mom wanted to find Galatea, but she failed," Alaric replied.

"Why did she want to find Galatea?" Cormac asked.

"Don't you know why? She definitely blames Galatea over me and Orion's break-up," Alaric answered.

"That makes sense; it's definitely possible for Mrs. Marigold to think that way. However, that's really a problem. If you want to marry Galatea, Mrs. Marigold will be the first to disapprove. After all, she places great importance on family development and social status," Cormac said.

"Yes," Alaric knew Mrs. Marigold very well. "She won't agree to me marrying Galatea, but I honestly don't care. I'm just worried that she'll secretly harm Galatea."

"That's true. In this case, your mother's way is the same as my dad's, and it's really terrifying," Cormac commented.

"I'm still in the hospital now, so I can't be by Galatea's side all the time. Can you find someone to protect her?" Alaric instructed.

"Don't worry. She has done us a favor before, so I won't let anything happen to her," Cormac promised.

Outside the ward, Galatea heard their conversation clearly. After hearing what Alaric said, she felt warm in her heart.

If she could only focus on this moment, she'd go all out. However, she still needed to find her son. Although she hadn't met Mrs. Marigold yet, she did have some clues and believed she could eventually find her.

If she couldn't, then she'd tell Alaric about it when he was healthier. It'd be much easier if he were willing to help.

Therefore, the future she envisioned would be bright. She'd fight for it!

On the other hand, Harry was having a tough time. He wondered why Mrs. Marigold had to live in the Knight family's villa when she had her own home and clearly disliked him. Despite that, he kept seeing her around all the time. After failing to find Galatea, Mrs. Marigold was especially grim. The villa's atmosphere became oppressive, and even the servants dared not speak a word.

Before this, Harry had always been curious about why Caspian, with such good living conditions, had such an isolated personality and wanted to leave home. Now, he found the true reason.

However, he couldn't be bothered with Mrs. Marigold. When it was mealtime, he simply ate. After all, he couldn't sacrifice his stomach.

"How rude!" Mrs. Marigold scolded him when she saw him eating on his own again, but he completely ignored her.

"Mrs. Marigold, Old Griffon has arrived."

Upon hearing Griffon's arrival, Harry rolled his eyes. Two of the three most annoying people were now in front of him.

"Mrs. Marigold, you've returned from your global trip? How was it?" Griffon asked.

"Going on a trip is naturally good, but I didn't expect such a big twist to happen during it." Faced with Griffon, Mrs. Marigold always felt guilty as she apologized, "I just found out about Alaric and Orion's situation. If I were there, I definitely would've stopped it from happening."

"You can't force someone in love. It's not Alaric's fault. After all, my daughter also has her shortcomings."

"Well, they're childhood sweethearts; a perfect match." Mrs. Marigold hatefully said, "Alaric must've lost his mind, actually falling for a female doctor. That damn bitch actually seduced him; I won't forgive her!"

Huh? Was she cursing Galatea? This old witch was truly malicious, actually cursing Galatea like that! Damn it! Griffon just smiled and then asked, "Have you met Galatea yet?"

"No, I missed my chance." Mrs. Marigold continued, "There's no rush; she can't run away under my surveillance." He fell silent, secretly wondering how she'd react if she knew Galatea was actually Stellan.
