Wylder closed the mental link after talking with Breda. His mind was still trying to wrap up the information that she gave him and the fact that had happened a moment before. He was thinking that he had twelve days to solve this mystery, but his life turned upside down when his mother arrived in the pack with Tiara.

Did he clearly mention to them that he didn’t want to keep any contact with Tiara?

Well, he couldn’t go and fight with them for bringing her here, not when he knew how Tiara used the situation in her favor to get here.

Eden and Arya knew that if his heart was ripped apart and was crushed badly when Tiara and Wylder broke up, then they couldn’t blame Tiara for it. If anyone needed to be blamed, then it was Wylder. But to make sure that he wouldn’t suffer more than he already had, they had cut all their ties with Haysbert just to keep him away from anything that connected him with her because they didn’t want him to suffer anyway.

But recently they learned from Rebecca Weasley about Sophia Haysbert’s poor health and the fact that she was admitted to the hospital because of breathing problems. Eden and Arya couldn’t stop themselves from meeting Sophia, not when they learned that their best friend was sick.

After all, they had been friends for more than three decades.

The moment Tiara saw them, she started nagging and begging them to take Wylder near them.

They would have said a big NO to her, but the worst part was that Sophia Haysbert too requested the same, and neither Eden nor Arya could say no to Sophia’s request.

Wylder knew Tiara’s way of using people and their emotions in her favor, but for the first time, he was pissed at her. He was going to scold her and send her back to her mother when he learned that Tiara was coming to the pack.

But his anger flew out the window when her mouth-watering scent hit his nose. The scent of chocolate and citrus was something that she always liked to eat, but unlike the other time, her scent was enchanting.

“Wild…” The moment she came running towards him to hug him, his body moved without his notice, and he held her in his arms. A wave of sparks ran all over his body when their bodies touched. It was something that only a friend could feel.

He waited for Night to raise his head and shout “mate or mine” in his mind, but he didn’t. He was silent, even though he too sensed both signs of the mate. Instead, his mind was on the omega, who looked at them painfully.

Once she left with Breda, he felt a piece of him going away from him. He broke the hug and left from there, giving the excuse of some work. Both he and Night have been silent since then, and now they have this information that Breda gave them.

‘You okay? You’re silent from the moment I hugged her.’ Wylder finally initiated the conversation.

‘No comments.’

‘It means you’re not okay.’ Wylder said. He could understand that he was confused between Tiara and Arabella. Not only Night but even he was perplexed. As much as he wanted to reach Tiara and claim her as mine, he knew that he couldn’t make any decisions in a hurry. Not when his Lycan was feeling connected to the omega with no name.

‘If Tiara is our mate, then why didn’t we feel Dora? Do you think that Dora will never return to her after getting rejected by Theodore?’ Wylder asked, trying to understand the situation.

‘No wolf can stay hidden in their mind if their mate is around. It only means that Dora left her body forever.’ Night responded. ‘Moreover, you might have stopped using your mind when she hugged you, but my mind was working perfectly, and I sensed that she now smells like a human. The little smell of Dora that used to be there was no more now.’

‘Oh! I missed noticing. What do you think the reason is behind it? Did Theodore again kick her out of his life AGAIN?’ Because the last time they remembered, she was asking him to take her back.

Like seriously?

Didn’t she have any self-respect?

‘We need to find out what exactly happened in the past year in detail.’ Wylder nodded his head, taking his advice. ‘And control your d**k near her. I know the mate bond is strong enough to control your mind and body, but before that, we will have to solve the mystery of Arabella, and for that, her wolf needed to wake up.’

‘Well, that is only possible if we spend our time with Tiara because, as per Breda, Arabella’s wolf appeared for a second watching us together. Listen, my plan is…’

‘Do hell with your plan. The moment you two will be in one two, your d**k will find every chance to enter inside her p***y.’ Night growled in anger, cutting him in between.

‘I can’t believe that you’re so rude towards that person whom you always wanted to claim.’ Wylder snapped at him. Night didn’t say anything to him at that moment, but Wylder’s question confused him a little more than it already did.

‘Do whatever you want. I’m out.’ He said, blocking Wylder. Wylder g*****d and punched the wall in anger. He grabbed his phone and dialed Colton Haysbert’s number.

“The number you’re calling is switched off.” He heard and dropped a message at his number. ‘Hey, big bro! I need your help; please call me or message me ASAP.’

He heard a knock at his door.

“You don’t have to knock on the door, Mom Eden.” He said, rubbing his temples, and saw her walking inside with a guilty smile on her face.

“I’m so sorry, sweetheart. I couldn’t say no to Sofi’s request.” She apologized again. “Tee was trying to reach you for a long time and wanted to apologize…”

“Please don’t. I don’t want to hear anything about her from others. I will talk with her on my own.” Wylder said, cutting him in between. “If she really wanted to find me, then all she had to do was ask Colton. He was great at tracking someone down, so I don’t want to hear that excuse.”

“Ah. Colton. It’s been ten months since anyone saw him.” Eden broke the news, widening Wylder’s eyes because he wasn’t expecting this. “No one knows where he is. Whether he is even alive or… A few lone tears escaped from Eden’s eyes; after all, she had raised Colton.

In fact, Eden and Arya were the ones who named the twins brothers. It was Eden who had helped Colton when he was searching for his father.

“Mom!!” Wylder quickly rushed near her and hugged her, saying, “Nothing will happen to him. He is a rock, remembers?”

“But something is definitely wrong with him, Wylder, or this was not impossible that Sofi was in the hospital and he didn’t come to check on her,” Eden spoke in tears. Well, that was the point that Wylder couldn’t ignore.

Everyone knew Colton except his mother.
