"Can you believe a girl just straight-up asking for stuff like that?" Her brow furrowed as she threw a glance at the other two women at the event. One of them had even chosen the toughest task and already earned two points for it. Jiang Yu's face turned pale at the comment. "Mr. Haywood is a woman too. Why's she putting down other women like that?"

Brielle chuckled, "How am I putting you down? I just said you're bold, which seems pretty accurate. Zheng Yi Yi picked the hardest task and earned two points. Why didn't she ask for handouts like you?" Zheng Yi Yi, another rising star with millions of fans, felt her cheeks burn at the mention of her name.

Jiang Yu was shaking with anger. "Brielle, are you trying to isolate me on purpose?"

"Jiang Yu, let's not blow every comment out of proportion," Brielle replied coolly, turning to the production team. "Is it time to start dinner? It's getting late."

Seeing Brielle ignore her, Jiang Yu stomped her foot in frustration. "I'm not eating!" She stormed off upstairs but was stopped by a staff member. "Miss Jiang, you need points to exchange for a room too."

Nearly fainting with anger, she quickly turned to Samuel. "Samuel, you said you'd give me three points, right?"

Samuel nodded, honest as ever.

Jiang Yu breathed a sigh of relief. "Good. Now that I have three points, can I get a room?"

The production team let her go. All the rooms were on the same floor, and you needed one point for a basic room. But with more points, you could snag a cozy hot springs room. The staff reassured everyone, "Everything's brand new and sanitized. No one's used them before. After a long day, you can rest easy and get a good night's sleep. But first, let's sort out dinner. Everyone chips in a point for a dish. You decide who cooks."

The ingredients for a simple meal were already laid out on the table. King had no clue how to cook.

As soon as he entered the room, fatigue hit him like a wave. Was it just the day's events? He rubbed his forehead, fighting the urge to sleep Last time he felt like this, he woke up as Max. He kept reminding himself not to fall asleep, blaming his drowsiness on the meds he was taking. This time was precious, and he didn't want to waste it.

Brielle noticed him rubbing his temples and went over to help. "What's up?"

King didn't mention the meds, just said, "I'm just tired."

"I can only make steak, not home-cooked meals. I can't cook tonight," she said with regret, her eyelashes drooping.

Every meal seemed to matter more now, and for some reason, Brielle's heart clenched.

"You rest. I'll handle it. I'll rope in some help from the others."

With so many people to feed, she knew she'd need help, and the other guests quickly offered their assistance.

King caught Brielle's hand, his gaze tender. "Thanks for doing this."

The live chat exploded!

"This moment really hits home. I've been a stay-at-home mom for ten years, cooking and taking care of the kids. My husband acts like it's no big deal, never once saying 'thanks for your hard work.' Hearing that just made me cry."

"Same here. My husband always says, 'How hard can changing diapers or cooking be? Is it as tough as dealing with office politics?' He comes home talking about his ough day, but if I ever say I'm tired, he mocks me."

"Who gets it, really? Most times, women just want a bit of recognition. A simple 'thanks for your hard work' can mean the world. Mr. Dorsey is truly considerate, and Brielle deserves that."
