Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook -
Chapter 575

Furthermore, Nicole assumed that Alec didn't know that she had anything to do with Jarrod's drowning incident. Otherwise, he would have kept her in that dark room.
Alec asked deadpan, "Since when did you start worrying about Mr. Schultz, Miss Lawrence?"
Annoyed by his sarcasm, Nicole turned to leave, saying disdainfully, "Talk or don't talk."
This reaction, which fit Nicole's usual behavior, improbably aroused Alec's suspicions.
When Nicole left, Alec chased after her: "Mr. Schultz passed out in the bathtub last night. Does it have anything to do with you?
Nicole scoffed. «Do you really think I'm as ignorant of the law as you? "I'm not stupid to risk my future by hurting him."
What happened last night was not intentional. It was Jarrod who pressed her underwater first. She only defended herself to defend herself. How could she know that he was so fragile that he would pass out in the bathtub and almost die?
Alec only came back for Jarrod's medicine. He was in a hurry and did not want to engage in further conversations with Nicole. He said coldly, “If you care about him, visit him in the hospital. "He hasn't woken up yet."
Nicole frowned: If he hasn't woken up, why am I visiting him? Today I have to go back to the office. Jarrod had granted it to me.
Alec snorted and replied, "Do whatever you want."
Alec knew that Nicole didn't like Jarrod. It was not the first time I had witnessed his indifference. Having her around only brought problems.
However, since Jarrod had given instructions not to harm him, Alec felt like his hands were tied.
Nicole turned around, feeling her heart race. He expected Jarrod to ruin his plans, but luck was on his side. With Jarrod hospitalized and Alec distracted, he had the upper hand.
Today, Nicole left the farm with only a driver to take her.
The usual security team was mostly at the hospital, leaving the estate with only four guards. Thus, she left without anyone following her.
Suppressing her emotions, Nicole watched the car slowly drive away from the villa.
In the rearview mirror, the white “prison” receded until it disappeared completely.
Nicole looked away determinedly. He swore not to return to that place.
Before getting out of the car, Nicole told the driver: “You don't need to wait for me today. Later I will visit Mr. Schultz in the hospital.
The driver nodded and left.
Nicole spent the afternoon in the office and then went alone to the underground parking lot. He got into an inconspicuous black sedan.
Moments later, she appeared dressed in black leather, wearing a black helmet, and straddling a matching motorcycle.
With a slight tilt, it started. He arrived at an elegant club and parked the motorcycle in the garage.
Nicole followed a route she had carefully chosen and took a private elevator up. He chose this club to meet with Mr. Hampton and close the deal because, being public, he wouldn't dare kidnap her in full view of everyone.
