Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook -
Chapter 544

Mitchel let out a disdainful snort. The nights in Ardlens were still cool, but Raegan seemed indifferent to the cold.
Mitchel had not accepted the drink from the woman next to him. Instead, he grabbed a nearby glass and finished it in one gulp.
“Didn't you just say that you can make Mr. Dixon drink your glass?” Mr. Ortega mocked the woman who was next to Mitchel. "If he doesn't drink, you'll have to get naked..."
The woman, with a sad face, tugged on Mitchel's sleeve and pleaded: "Mr. Dixon, do you really want to see me get naked? Can't you show a little mercy?
As she spoke, she leaned closer to Mitchel, the thin fabric of her dress barely hiding her figure. She was using all her charms to seduce Mitchel.
In her opinion, conquering Mitchel was the only thing that mattered, even if she had to get naked to do so. All of his friends had prospered in the same way, enjoying lavish lifestyles ever since.
The woman had not yet settled down because she was demanding and not willing to commit to just any wealthy man. However, Mitchel met all their requirements. He was handsome, well-endowed and gave off a subtle mischief that completely captivated her. He promised to conquer him.
When Mitchel remained distant, the woman secretly rolled her eyes, intending to employ her usual tactics. His grip on the wine glass tilted slightly, making it look like he had "accidentally" spilled the drink on his pants. Only then could he insinuate himself. She smiled with satisfaction, thinking that no man could resist her cleaning the spill with her chest.
But before the woman could spill the wine on Mitchel's pants, a slender, graceful hand stopped her.
Raegan, approaching from the side, interjected softly, "Let's be careful not to spill the drink, miss."
The woman was left speechless. Irritated, she wondered about Raegan's identity, daring to interfere with his plans. «Are you new here? Don't you know how things work here? Who gave you the right to interfere?
Raegan calmly replied, "I noticed your hand was shaking violently and I wondered if you had Parkinson's." Mr. Ortega could not contain his laughter and burst into laughter.
What a way to interpret the situation!
A hint of a smile appeared on Mitchel's face, but he quickly hid it.
Humph! He was still angry. He had to keep his poker face.
"You!" The woman clutched her chest, struggling to articulate her frustration.
Raegan chose not to continue talking to the woman. Turning his attention to Mitchel, he asked, "Could we talk for a moment?"
Despite his desire to look at Raegan, Mitchel, without so much as a glance, grabbed another drink and stated coldly, "I'm busy." His voice lacked any warmth, treating Raegan as if she were a stranger.
Raegan felt a stab of pain. "I just need a moment."
Noticing Mr. Ortega's gaze on Raegan, Mitchel's irritation increased. He knitted his eyebrows and said impatiently, “I already told you that I am busy. Is it not clear enough?
“Matteo!” Mitchel asked, "What are you waiting for?" His suggestion was for Matteo to walk Raegan to the door.
Matteo was perplexed, wondering if the alcohol had dulled Mitchel's senses.
Raegan got straight to the point, asking, "Mitchel, were you in Ashfield last night?"
The question seemed to strike a chord, as Mitchel's gaze became even colder. He replied: “Asking about my whereabouts? Who do you think you are to me?
Raegan took a deep breath and confessed, “I'm someone who wants to give us a chance. Does that count for anything?
Raegan's words sparked something in Mitchel, his desire to draw her into his arms burning. Did you want to try? But why did he lie to her last night? He was with Stefan the night before, but he said he was with someone he didn't know. He had rushed there upon learning her whereabouts, only to find her entering the hotel with Stefan. No! I couldn't stand that.
Reflecting on the night before, Mitchel gritted his teeth, his voice icy and sharp. «Do you want to give us a chance? Do you think you are skilled at playing?
Mitchel's face turned stern, exuding an intimidating aura.
Raegan felt a chill. He bit his lip and said, "I don't..."
But Raegan was interrupted by a mocking voice nearby. «So you have been rejected and you are clinging pathetically. Stop the act of being decent!
