Mitchel's eyes became stormy. Gritting his teeth, he declared, "There is no other woman for me but you!"

Raegan couldn't suppress a sneer. He was really liking me. With a slight curl of his lips, he replied: “Unfortunately, I do not share your opinion. "I'll go out with whoever I want."

Mitchel's eyes narrowed, a glint of menace in them. "Raegan, do you understand what you're saying?"

«Isn't it obvious? I am free to date the man I want. Mr. Dixon, if this bothers you, divorce is an option,” Raegan challenged Mitchel.

Mitchel's voice turned icy. Raegan, have you forgotten our agreement?

«I remember it perfectly. I agreed not to shy away from you, get along with you for a month, and then part ways amicably. But…” Raegan paused, then added nonchalantly, “Our agreement doesn't prevent me from seeing other men, does it?”

Hearing his words, Mitchel's expression darkened even more.

Raegan felt a surge of satisfaction. You thought you could use the agreement to control me, but now the tables have turned. Idiot".

Mitchel, displaying a commanding presence, said in an icy voice, “Are you still thinking about where you stand? Do you need me to refresh your memory? Mrs. Dixon!

"Are we talking about cheating in marriage?" Raegan said nonchalantly, “It doesn't bother me. And haven't you hooked up with your first love before? "You don't have to be so hypocritical."

Raegan brought up these topics easily, wanting to provoke Mitchel.

She doubted he could stay calm after hearing her words.

Suddenly, Mitchel's expression darkened as if he were about to lose his temper but was struggling to control himself. «I have never deceived you. "I haven't been with anyone but you."

His confession didn't impress Raegan in the least. He even gave a small laugh. «Great thing. Am I supposed to praise you for your loyalty? Since you are so devoted, tell me, how did we lose our first baby?

Bringing up the loss of the child made Mitchel's authoritative air falter slightly. He said harshly, "It was an accident."

If I could go back in time, I would never repeat that mistake. The loss of his first child hurt him as much as it did Raegan.

Mr. Dixon, did you accidentally save your ex and put me in danger? Raegan's lips twisted into a slight sneer. «So it's a coincidence that I go on a date with a man and things get a little intimate. It was an accident. Mr. Dixon, don't make too much of it.

The more Raegan spoke, the darker the expression on Mitchel's face grew, until it was inky black.

"Are you really fighting with me over that man?" Mitchel's voice was icy. "You don't want that man to end up ruined by his relationship with you, do you?"

Mitchel's threat was unmistakable. She had almost reached her breaking point, unable to stand any other man at Raegan's side. He wanted Stefan out of the picture at that moment, away from Raegan.

However, Raegan remained unfazed, her voice indifferent. Are you threatening me again, Mr. Dixon?

The word "again" caused a subtle change in Mitchel's expression, but he didn't deny it. Instead, he just said, "Yes."

For Mitchel, being hated by Raegan was a small price to pay to avoid seeing her with other men. The mere thought of Raegan being with other men killed him.

Mitchel held a slight bitterness in his heart. Didn't Raegan hate him enough? He was willing to make her hate him even more to be the only man by her side.

"Mr. Dixon, do you have any idea how many men there are in the world?"

Mitchel frowned, taken aback by her question.

"There are 3.5 billion men," Raegan said with a slight smile. “Tell me, how many of them can you really scare away?”

Instantly, Mitchel's face darkened, a mixture of disbelief and coldness overcoming him as he heard Raegan's words.

His eyes, dark as night, lit up with a surprising shade of crimson, sharp and penetrating. His voice was tinged with coldness as he said, “Raegan, you can't be serious about this joke.”

“It's no joke, Mr. Dixon. If you think it is, wait and see.

"We'll find out if you can stop me faster or if I can find someone new faster." Raegan declared.

Mitchel's expression turned icy. In a bitter tone, he implored, “Raegan, stop talking nonsense.”

"Mr. Dixon, if you want to continue fooling yourself, of course, call it nonsense." Raegan dismissed his words and walked away without looking at his face.

For the first time, Mitchel realized how difficult it was to persuade Raegan. She seemed immune to any tactics, not even threats could deter her. He had to face reality. Raegan had changed. She was no longer someone he could control.

His eyes reddened, a feeling of despair taking over him. He quickly followed her, grabbing her arm. “What do you really want?”

«What I want is very simple!» With a twinkle in her eye and a sweet smile, Raegan said, “Divorce.”

In an instant, the images suddenly overlapped.

Mitchel swallowed as memories of the past flashed through his mind.

Just like those days five years ago, Mitchel and Raegan's dynamic mirrored that of that last date. One longed for a divorce while the other clung to marriage.

At that precise moment, a waiter walked by with a tray of dishes in his hand.

Mitchel quickly extended his arm, afraid that the waiter would accidentally bump into Raegan.

But Raegan, on pure instinct, dodged and backed away sharply. Her slender waist collided with the corner of the table, causing her to frown and utter a muffled moan.

Mitchel's breath caught and his hand hung in the air. He withdrew his hand, hid the pain in his heart, and asked, "Is your dislike for me so intense?"

Her contempt for him was so deep that she would rather hurt herself than let him touch her.

Mitchel's attractive eyes reddened slightly, his wounded expression containing a strangely captivating charm.
