Chapter 1572:

Knowing the importance of the pills, Roscoe contacted a trusted person who both knew to pick them up. Nicole then asked him, “How is your investment project going?”
Reluctant to worry her, Roscoe simply replied, "It's moving along just fine."
Knowing Roscoe's reluctance to admit to difficulties, Nicole changed her approach. "Roscoe, my best friend's husband, wields considerable influence.
You may have heard of him. His name is Mitchel Dixon, CEO of the Dixon Group. I might ask my friend if she can help you connect.
“There's no need for that, Nicole. “I’ve got everything under control,” Roscoe replied confidently.
Roscoe had heard of Mitchel, a financial heavyweight known for his keen insight. He had a meticulously laid out plan to bring the family business back to life, with a sixty percent chance of success. However, with the Schultz family keeping their distance, doubts loomed over his plan, which ran into numerous obstacles.
Although Nicole's suggestion was appealing, Roscoe was hesitant to ask her to plead his case. Given the size of the Dixon Group, he figured they would likely receive numerous requests for partnerships, and he didn't want to appear presumptuous. Instead, he resolved to explore avenues such as applying for loans from banks or considering alternative options.
Despite his denial, Nicole insisted: “Roscoe, my best friend is like family to me. “I can’t promise anything about anyone else, but she will do everything she can to help me.”
Nicole made it clear to Roscoe by explaining, “Don't assume I'm only doing this for your sake. I have faith in you, which is why I'm suggesting my best friend's husband to you. He wouldn't invest in a bad project just to do me in favor. If he’s green-lighting your idea, it’s because it’s valuable.”
Roscoe was encouraged by her words, realizing that with this support he could solve his problem much faster. Furthermore, only when he had the family business sorted out would he be able to devote more time to helping Nicole.
He had been drawn into his family's problems without meaning to. He cared nothing for social status and could handle things on his own. However, now that he was involved, there was no easy way out. At this point, leaving for self-preservation seemed almost impossible.
Miguel, who had always been tough, never really accepted Roscoe as part of the family, a painful truth that Roscoe had come to accept. On his deathbed, Miguel had Roscoe come over, only to criticize his mother for being a hick, someone he looked down on, who spread his hatred to Roscoe. Even in his final moments, Miguel's feelings for Roscoe had not softened.
Nicole added: “I do this because I see your potential as an entrepreneur. “You can excel at anything you put your mind to, so you have to believe in yourself.”
Finally, Roscoe agreed. He agreed and said, “Okay, I’ll give it a try.”
Nicole felt a surge of relief. “Great! “I’ll talk to my friend soon.”
“Sure, take your time. “I’ll check this pill first and then make an appointment with Mr. Dixon.”
For Roscoe, the risk of possible incarceration seemed minor compared to Austin's health.
After the call, Nicole quickly informed Raegan. Raegan was eager to help Nicole and trusted her judgment. If Nicole endorsed someone, Raegan would follow that recommendation. Plus, Raegan had heard about Roscoe before.
He had a reputation for being a virtuous and respectable young man. Given Miguel's disgraceful behavior toward Roscoe, Raegan was definitely inclined to help him.
However, the situation was complicated by Jarrod's involvement. Jarrod really didn't like Roscoe and wanted him to fail. If Mitchel helped Roscoe, it would mean going against the Schultz Group. Mitchel and Jarrod's old friendship added another layer of complexity to the situation.
