Before she could say more, Jarrod's lips pressed against hers. Nicole pulled back with all her might, but her resistance only made her kisses intensify.

Jarrod's dominance was evident and in one swift movement he began to unbutton her blouse, his hand exploring her skin. Her skin was soft and tender.

Fury flared in Nicole's eyes and she bit her lip, her voice barely audible as she hissed, "Bastard..."

With a driver present, Jarrod's disregard for decorum was evident. Was he really willing to go through with this here, in full view of everyone?

Jarrod had a tendency to be controlling, especially when it came to relationships.

He didn't take defiance well. If he chose to be nice, it was on his terms, but otherwise compliance was expected. And this time was no exception.

Not even the taste of his own blood from Nicole's bite stopped him. He calmly removed his tie and used it to tie his hands behind his back.

With a raised eyebrow and a hint of defiance, he declared, “You've had your time, now it's my turn.”

The stakes were high as the Schultz Group faced potential losses of billions due to the unfolding scandal – a steep price tag by any measure.

Jarrod's hand gently caressed her skin as he leaned towards her. “Isn’t that right, darling?”

He said the word “honey” with such warmth that one might assume they shared a deep and passionate bond. In reality, Nicole was feeling anything but affectionate. She fantasized about ending it.

"Jarrod, don't fool yourself into thinking you can do whatever you want. I agreed to marry you, but that doesn't include giving in to your every demand," she replied.

Jarrod's eyes roved lazily over her, taking in her disheveled appearance with apparent approval. Hadn't we already crossed that line last time?

"That was different. You know I had reasons to obey then."

Nicole retorts, her eyes filled with anger. She had been given in earlier because she needed to handle a situation with Vicki without complications. Her resistance had not been total.

Now, reality hit her. Jarrod had orchestrated these events meticulously.

He was aware that she had the original video and of her intentions, but he had remained silent. Was his ultimate goal simply to manipulate her into his bed?
