Raegan was stunned.

His eyebrows furrowed in confusion. Why was Mitchel angry? Wasn't he the one who had asked her to sign the divorce agreement?

Before he could express his confusion, Mitchel stood up and said in a cold voice, "Don't forget tonight's dinner at the family's house."

When she saw him leave the office, Raegan shouted behind him, “Mr. Dixon!"

Mitchel stopped dead. He frowned deeply. When he looked over his shoulder, Raegan said, "How about next Monday?"

Hearing that, his eyelids twitched again.

Why in God's name did he stop to listen to such nonsense?

"Whatever you want".

With a dark face, Mitchel closed the door behind him.

Raegan felt both relieved and hurt after hearing that indifferent response.

Since she had decided to get divorced, she thought it was wise to get it over with as soon as possible.

Once the divorce was finalized, she wouldn't have to see Mitchel every day and be reminded of her pain.

As the popular saying went, time would heal all wounds.

It could take a few months or even many years.

It was six in the afternoon.

The driver came to pick up Raegan on time.

It was a known fact that Kyler had a soft spot for Raegan, and even considered her better than some of his offspring.

This was one of the reasons Tessa hated Raegan.

In his eyes, Raegan was a nobody. How dare Raegan try to flatter Kyler! What a willing slut!

After cursing Raegan inwardly, Tessa smiled complacently.

«Anyway, do you have any idea where Mitchel is now? Lauren just told me that Mitchel was on his way to pick her up. They will surely come here tonight. If I were you, I'd leave now. "It is better to leave now than to stay here to be humiliated."

Tessa was sharp-tongued and knew how to provoke even the easiest of people.

Two security guards entered after hearing screams from outside.

They asked what the problem was.

It was a tradition that Raegan came here to have dinner with Kyler every month. The workers knew her face and knew that she was very dear to Kyler.

The security guards' faces darkened after hearing Tessa's arrogant words.

They wanted to tell Tessa off, but they couldn't because she was related to Kyler.

Raegan didn't expect Tessa to be so unreasonable. He frowned.

Raegan shook her head. I had never met someone so unreasonable.

Raegan looked Tessa straight in the eyes.

It reminded Tessa of the same hard look Raegan gave her the last time she checked the accounts.

In a fit of rage, Tessa grabbed the glass of juice on the table and poured it on Raegan.

Raegan hadn't seen it coming, so her clothes were instantly soaked.

The shiny suit stuck to her skin. He looked down and let out a scream of horror.

After saying that, Tessa raised her hand and was about to slap Raegan.

"For!" A cold voice was heard.

Mitchel approached and looked at them coldly.

Tessa staggered, feeling weak in the knees.

He quickly regained his composure. As far as she was concerned, Raegan was the troublemaker. Why would he be scared?

«It's a good thing you're here, Mitchel! This bitch is trying to ruin your reputation. I will teach him a lesson from you.

Mitchel looked at Tessa with an impatient look.

Tessa couldn't read Mitchel's expression. When Mitchel put her shoulder around her and walked over to Raegan, she was still dazed.

Suddenly, Mitchel stopped dead.
