Guilt

for being older

Love

because you were younger

My little sister

who could never see,

my Admiration

could only Hate on some level

because I was there before.

An obstacle instead of help

Used to make her shine

Devilish in her eye

It hurts me to this day

Knowing it will never change

Almost sixty years of trying

to mend the rift you made,

has taught me to tend my heart

Protect it
