Chapter 5

Bella's P.O.V

"You have slapped your Alpha... From now on I vow to make your life a living hell. You are my pet, my slave, my everything. You are under my mercy." Asher Informed me, I was terrified hearing this from him. His pet, slave and everything. What does he mean? Am I not his mate? My wolf had told me he would love me and accept me, so why did he sound like my master?

"And one more thing...." Asher hesitated and came closer to my lips.

"Don't tell anyone that you are my mate. It's a shame for me to have a lone wolf as a mate." Asher whispered. As soon as I heard him I remembered the words of my mom, the stories she used to tell me about mates, how over protective, loving, caring, and possessive they were towards their mate.

I used to think that the day I would find my mate. That it would be the best day of my life and my life would change. But after hearing him; all the fairy tales, the wishful dreams of a little girl about mates in my mind went away. All the things about mates up until that very day had proven to be a vicious lie. One thing had proven to be true, never trust an Alpha....

My soul was experiencing no small amount of torment not only from his cruel words but also the callousness in his eyes as he gazed upon me. I was thinking about our kiss in the store room, now that might have been the only somewhat happy moment of my life with my mate. Tears gathered in my eyes.

"Don't worry, I won't tell anyone that your mate is a lone wolf. Just to let you know, I haven't even thought about telling that information to anyone. Even if you had asked me to, I wouldn't have told anyone." I replied. I tried to move his hand so that I could go, but he looked angry when he heard me say that and pushed me back against the wall.

"Why? Why weren't you going to tell anyone?" He asked, decreasing the small distance between us even further. I lifted my gaze up to his eyes. My eyes were full of tears, but I refused to let a single one of them drop from my eyes.

"Because I hate Alphas," I replied. I saw the change in his chocolatey brown eyes, like he was not expecting something like that. I pushed him away trying to go to the door, to no avail as his arm wrapped around my waist and he pulled me back against his chest. He spun me around so that I was now facing him.

"You can't hate Alphas because your mate is an Alpha!" He yelled, I saw an angry smirk on his face.

"Your luck has f****d with you that I am your Alpha." He said, making me outraged.

"You are not my Alpha!" I shrieked, I watched as his eyes turned black. All too quickly he had clutched my cheeks and tightened his hold on my waist.

"I AM YOUR ALPHA AND YOU CAN NOT DENY IT." He shouted, causing my tears to finally escape out of my eyes.

"Didn't you say you do not want a lone wolf as your mate, that you feel shame?" I quipped, he smirked at seeing my tears. His thumb rubbed against my cheeks.

"Yes, it is a shame. I do not even want to see your face. You only disgust me." He admitted with emotionless eyes. I wiggled in his hold finally succeeding in pushing him away from me. I wiped my tears and took my steps across the room to put some distance between him and I.

"Then, let's reject each other. You do not want a lone wolf and I do not want an Alpha. Reject me and I will accept it." I claimed, as fresh tears rolled down my cheeks. Only the word reject, and all it's silent connotations, was killing me. My wolf was trying to stop me, I was remembering our first kiss again. His eyes when I first saw him, his hold, touch and his heartbeat.

"I... Bella Davis..." I started to say. I could not believe I was going to reject my mate. After all, my fate had brought me to the same place where I would reject my mate and would become alone again.

"Reject...you...." I said, realising I will be alone... forever...

"Alpha Ashe..." I was about to complete my words, but before I could, I was pushed against the near wall. My mouth was sealed and I could not even breathe for a few seconds. When I opened my eyes I saw him. He was kissing me. He had not let me complete my words. I used both of my hands so that I could push him away, but he grabbed my hands, pinning them above my head.

"What are you doing? Let me..." I started, but he again blocked my mouth with his own. I could not understand anything. My body was getting weak because of his kiss. My tears were continuously flowing.

"Do you think rejection would make you free of me? Never!" He rumbled. Between his kisses, words, and close proximity I was finding it hard to breathe. It seemed that he had succeeded in making me completely breathless. "What do you mean?" I asked, he smirked at me.

"I reject your rejection!" He sneered as he was again getting closer to my lips.

"But why?" I questioned, he was gazing deep into my eyes.

"Didn't I tell you what you are to me? My pet, my slave and my everything. After slapping me did you think you could escape from me? You need to bear your doings... Bella." Asher reiterated. Just hearing my name on his lips was enough to make my heart beat faster. His hold on my body was authoritative and possessive, he had no plans of letting me go. He was not letting me reject him, rather he wanted to rule over me. "No... I will not accept this..." I said, he again gave me a blank look.

"It's not a choice, it's an order. You are under my mercy now. If you want to continue with school then you will have to accept it. Whatever I give you, do to you, say to you, everything..." He whispered, I shook my head. I understood that I was trapped now. This bad boy Alpha had trapped me in his clutches.

I felt his chest against my body. He wrapped his arm around my waist, while his hand went to the back of my head. I saw him leaning towards my lips, I closed my eyes as our lips touched again.

I found myself in a new and completely different world than I have ever been before. I never knew my life was going to take this type of turn where I would have become the slave of my own mate. Slapping him was the biggest mistake of my life. If I had not done it, then maybe the situation would have been something completely different. Now I can not even regret it because now I am in the arms of bad boy Alpha.

His kiss was growing deeper and my breathing became unstable, he let go of my hand a little and broke the kiss. I immediately pushed him back and ran out of the room, I did not turn back to see what his reaction was to me escaping him once again. When I came out of the office, I saw Lily standing with Asher's Beta. I did not know what was going on between them, but when Lily's gaze met my own we knew what we needed to do. We fled down the hallway together, she did not ask me anything about what had happened in the office.

On the way we saw the Principal, I now knew that he was a bad man, someone I couldn't trust. He had left me alone with his jerk of an Alpha! I think their whole pack is full of jerks. The way he had walked out of the room it seemed as if he left me in his hands of the Alpha for my punishment. It means slapping him, not the principal but Asher would be the one to punish me. He has already told me what he would do.

"Let's walk a different way!" Lily exclaimed, I nodded my head. She turned to the right and I followed her as I did not know the way. As we passed through the hall there were too many wolves who were staring at both of us. We finally made it out of the building and were on the school's athletic fields. We had stopped to try and catch our breath. I was looking back to make sure that no one had followed us.

"Thanks!" I said to Lily, she nodded.

"It's nothing. I also wanted to escape from there." She explained. She appeared, scared, like she was also watching for someone. We both were looking at the players on the field.

"Are you ok?" Lily asked in a worried tone.

"Honestly, I do not know." I answered, as I really did not know if I was ok or not.

"I am sorry, this all has happened because of me. I should not have talked to you in the first place because of me you messed with Taylor and slapped Asher. Everything happened because of me. For the first time I tried to make friends and now you are in danger." Lily said, starting to cry. "Hey, Please calm down..." I assured Lily as I held her hand and smiled.

"You are not responsible for whatever has happened to me. I can not explain too many things to you, but I met him earlier today when I was in the store room. I pushed him and ran off leaving him behind. I offended him then too. He had an issue with me and because of that he is bothering me. Even if you were not involved he would still be doing something like this. Please don't cry. I am happy that you are my friend and now I think you will be the only one." I offered as an explanation,she nodded. She understood my point and had stopped crying. I looked at the other girls who were glaring at me, as they passed by on their way into the building.

"What's wrong with them?" I muttered to myself.

"They are crazy for Asher because of this they are acting this way." Lily said.I took a deep soothing breath to calm my jealousy, I may not be happy with Asher but he is still my mate. They were a mixture of humans and werewolves there, but now that meant that the whole school was my enemy. I was thinking that I would make new friends here, but due to the current situation everything has changed. One thing I could not understand was how he had managed to find me. I was 100% sure that he had not followed me and I had not even smelled him around me, but then he appeared behind me out of nowhere.

"What happened in the principal's office? I saw the principal coming out of the room leaving both of you alone. Does it mean that Asher will decide your punishment?" Lily asked and I looked at her.

"How did you know?" I inquired.

"huh? Does that mean that I am right? He will be the one to punish you?" Lily questioned and I nodded.

"Oh no, Bella. You are in trouble." she groaned, making me more scared.

"What do you mean?" I asked, as we began walking towards our class room, this time taking a different way.

"A punishment given by the principal is better than any given by Asher." She informed, as she glanced back to watch Asher and Leo moving in the distance. Asher glared at me and Leo was doing the same thing, but rather than at me he was glaring at Lily. She and I looked away from them, but now she seemed even more scared than me.

"Asher is not a normal bad boy of the school, like you would find at any other school. He does not bully any random person rather he picks specific targets. A target to destroy the person who messes with him because of this no one dares to f**k with his comfort. The person's life that he targets then turns into hell on Earth. He is far worse than he looks. He is a senior and his classmates are also scared of him. Those people who have been bullied by him never came back to school. I do not know what he would do to you because you have slapped him in front of the whole school." She told me.I was able to see the door to hell that I had opened for myself. Not only had I opened that door, but I had also offended the devil ruling over it.

"How do you know about all of this?" I asked,she took a deep breath.

"I am also new in the school. Last year I studied in another city, but because of a sudden change in my family and life, it brought me here. When I moved here I had to attend this school and I came to learn about the principal, Asher, the seniors, and the rest of this messed up school. This school is very different from other schools. I had never been able to make any friends here. Asher is the son of one of the most famous businessmen in the county, he is exceedingly wealthy. His friend Leo is the only one around him almost constantly; it's like the two are attached at the hip or something. The boy who was Asher's target before, he...well, he left the city. I do not know why, but every bully in this school fears him." Lily informed. She doesn't know, but I understood why no one messed with him.

According to the principal his pack was the largest pack in the city and he is the future Alpha. There are so many packs in this area, but they are not as prosperous, powerful and rich as him. No one wanted to make an enemy of his pack or him. When I first saw his face I had understood that he was a dominating Alpha. There were so many people around me, but no one was as dominant as him. We had been walking for some time when we reached near our classroom, at that moment I had the almost uncontrollable desire to go back home. I did not want to go inside as I already knew there were going to be many werewolves in there.

"Let's go." Lily said, I nodded. I took a deep breath and started to walk inside. I was looking at the floor while walking, but I could clearly hear them talking about me. I was using my heightened sense of hearing thanks to my wolf and learned that if they caught me alone then I was dead. The girls were far more aggressive than the boys. Lily was ahead of me and sat on the last chair, luckily there was an empty seat next to her. I decided to sit beside her, when someone blocked my path with her legs.

I lifted my eyes looking at her. A curly black haired girl was standing there blocking my path with her two other friends, all three of them were werewolves. She was wearing too much make-up and her skirt was way too short, but the look she was giving me was really annoying. She was acting like I was some kind of animal poop she had stepped in with the new designer shoe her daddy had bought her.

"So, this is that b***h who slapped Asher?" She asked her friends, who looked me up and down, but she called me a b***h. I glared at her. No one ever called me a b***h. I think she understood that I was a lone wolf due to my lack of pack smell, but she was not saying it because humans were around us. Lily was looking frantic. She got up from her seat, coming over to me.

"Bella... Let's go." Lily said, trying to take me away from her.

"Oh my god! Am I dreaming? Now this loner also has a friend!" She exclaimed to Lily, they all laughed. Not only those girls, but the whole class was laughing at her.

"The two loners are friends now..." She chirped, indirectly telling everyone that I was a lone wolf. I decided not to mess with her. She was a total b***h! After slapping Asher I did not know what he would do to me, so getting involved with this girl could only create more problems for me.

"You are standing in my way." I said to the girl and she looked angry.

"SO WHAT?!" She shouted, causing Lily to flinch hearing her.

"Bella... Don't argue with her. That is Suzy, she is Asher's girl." Lily whispered, hearing the word 'Asher's girl' something happened inside me. He has a girl? Is she his girlfriend or something else? I could not understand what this feeling was, but I hated this girl even more. I felt like my ears were burning from hearing the word Asher's girl referring to someone else. She was laughing at Lily and me, but when I stepped towards her she stopped laughing. She was not expecting me so close to her face. I looked into her eyes. "Move or I will scratch your ugly face with my nails!" I slowly and quietly emphasised to her, it was enough to make her scared. I already knew she was crazy over her looks by the amount of make-up she wore. She stepped out of my way once again calling me a b***h. I ignored her putting my bag on my desk. She was glaring at me as I continuously ignored her.

"What did you say to her?" Lily whispered, I smirked at her.

"You should not be scared of everyone. If someone bullies you then you should not accept it like a weak person. You should show that you can stand up for yourself. She was the weakest person here. I can feel she must be weak in her pack... I mean in her social group." I stressed and quickly corrected my words, Lily nodded. A few minutes later a teacher entered the room and the whole class became silent. I looked around and found that they all had buried their heads in their books. He was roaming his eyes in the classroom like he was searching for someone.

"Hey Bella... Don't look at him. Look down..." Lily whispered, I immediately did what she had said.

"Why? What's wrong?" I whispered back.

"He is the strictest teacher in this whole school. He is crazy about discipline and manners. No matter how perfect you are, he will find fault in you. If you do not want to be kicked out of the classroom then don't look at him." Lily clarified, I started to read my book. It was good that she had told me. He started to take our attendance, when he had called my name then I looked up to him.

"Transfer student?" He asked, while touching his glasses looking me up and down. I smiled at him a little, that was the moment his expression changed.

"Bella, where is your ID card?" He questioned, I glanced down at my neck. I looked at Lily and the other students. Until then no one had been wearing an ID card, but when the teacher entered they all had put them on. Lily had been wearing it from the beginning. "I asked you something Miss Bella." He repeated himself, I started to search for it in my bag. I knew I had put it in my bag. After searching for a few minutes I found that it was not in my bag, but I had put it in there. "Sir, I think I lost it somewhere." I said, he removed his glasses.

"No ID card means you can not attend this class. Don't come back until you are wearing it." He said,asking me to leave the room. I searched again but it was no use. I picked up my bag and began to leave. Suzy turned, giving me a dirty smirk. When I had stepped out into the hallway I clutched my palm tightly. I was so annoyed.

It was the first day, my very first class and I could not attend it just because I had no ID Card! If this continues then I will fail the exams. I could not understand where I had dropped it. I was again searching for it in my pockets at that time I got a message in my phone. It was from an unknown number.

"I need my slave, right now."

It was written in the message, I was confused to read the word slave. Suddenly I remembered the word pet, slave and everything. This message was from Asher! Where in the heck did he get my number? Why is he messaging me?

"Why?" I messaged him back. I was not crazy enough to blindly follow his orders. I got a new message and I saw that it was a photo. I was shocked to see the photo of my ID card. I got a message again.

"I will flush it if I do not see you in the lab in five minutes."

My eyes widened when I read that he would flush my ID card. It would be hard for me to get a new ID card and the teacher would not allow me to attend the class without it. I would be in a great deal of trouble. I gritted my teeth in anger and started to search for the lab. Then something hit my mind causing me to stop.

Now I understood why he had not followed me when I fled from the store. He had gotten my ID card there and knew where I was going. I looked at the message again, shivering. Everyone was in the classroom, so why was he calling me into the lab? It was suspicious!
