Leo's P.O.V

"Oh my goddess, what's up with all that?" Jessica asked. If there was a blood soaked shirt and blood puddles spread on the ground like milk then I would expect anyone to shout in similar panic, but I hadn't expected this from Jessica.

"What is happening here? Whose blood is that?" Jessica questioned, hiding behind me and trying to flee the completely unknown danger. She was glancing at the blood that was all over the ground, looking from behind my shoulder and I just peered over my shoulder at her in astonishment.

"Do you know that you are a stain on the name of werewolves?" I said, telling her the same truth that I have told her since childhood. Jessica came from behind me, rolling her eyes.

"I am the most beautiful girl in the New Moon Pack, how can you call me a blemish?" Jessica angrily replied. I just shook my head, showing her my tiredness.

"How can you be afraid of blood when you are a werewolf? You know very well that this is the blood of an animal just from it's scent." I boringly commented to her as she just leaned on the table next to me.

"I know very well that this is the blood of an animal but how come it's here....oh goddess." She muttered, but could not complete her words when she saw Asher at a corner of the room just a short distance away. She was so panicked about the blood that she had not been paying attention to him, until she heard the punch Asher had just delivered to the bag then she looked to the side.

"Is this...did Asher hunt it?" She asked, when she saw the sweat-soaked Asher using the punching bag. His body was not only covered in sweat,, but he was also mingled with the blood of the animal he had most likely hunted.

"Yes, Asher had hunted it, he was chasing the animal in his wolf form for twenty minutes non stop. He had searched inside the forest and eventually returned after taking it down. I had watched everything and continued to follow him. Actually when I went back to school around half eleven at night the library had been completely decimated, every single shelf had fallen victim to his anger and by the time that I arrived there he was already in his wolf form and that part of him had taken control.

I watched as he jumped out the library window and ran towards the forest, that's when I realised that something was seriously wrong. He had hunted countless animals then returned here to the gym at four in the morning. Ever since had been pounding on punching the bags the same way he was now. The blood of the animal that covered his body had been mixed with his sweat." I replied to her, explaining events of the evening.

Throughout the entire gym the only sound that could be heard was the steady thumping of the punching bag being beaten by Asher's fists, the bag itself was close to bursting. Every attack on that punching bag was so vicious and aggressive that now the bag was simply going to come apart at its seams.

"But what happened that his wolf lost control and he is still trying to control his wolf so many hours later? I can feel that his fury is still at its peak." She whispered softly, knowing that he could hear us.

"I don't know. I haven't even gotten a chance to ask as I'm trying to get in touch with his wolf, his wolf has been kicking me out. He was in a full on rampage." I told Jessica and as soon as I looked to the right, I found this silly girl going towards Asher who was burning in a fiery furor.

"What the f**k are you doing?! Do you want to die?!!!" I asked, pulling her out from there.

"Why? What happened? I believe I can calm Asher's wrath." Jessica claimed, showing the confidence in her voice and I immediately closed the gym door.

"No, you can't!" I exclaimed, she rolled her eyes.

"I believe I can!" she argued trying to go back inside. I pulled her back by her arms.

"Now I understand the other reason why he broke up with you two years ago?" I said, making a mockery of her and becoming flush with anger.

"What do you mean? There was never a breakup between us. All things were finished by Asher, but I did not accept it."Jessica said in her defense, knowing that what I am saying was true.

"I know very well that you did not accept the breakup, so you were sent out of the city for two years. I believed that your madness must have subsided and that you would not make the same mistake that you did two years ago. Asher never spoke of loving you. You knew that both of you were going to live together for one month and understand each other. But he came to realize that the two of you were not made for each other, so he ended the whole matter between you two." I explained, she was looking hurt with my words. "But why was it my fault?" Jessica asked with tears in her eyes.

"It was your fault. When both of you were sixteen years old, you both recognized that you were not mates. You came to understand this one month before Asher, but still you hid it from him. Keeping our childhood friendship in mind, he just asked Alpha Gabriel to send you out of the city. You should not have lied to him. Until the very end you said that the two of you were mates which was a total falsehood. I can see that you came back still believing that lie and that there was hope for the two of you. "I told Jessica, holding nothing back.

"Yes you are right I have come to get him back. I am eighteen years old and Asher is too, but neither of us have found our mate. I still have hope." Jessica replied. I just wanted to bang my head on the closest wall at hearing the words of this stupid stubborn girl who had still not understanding the reason for Asher's wrath.

“Come on Jessica. Are you so blinded by your own desire to be with him that you still don't understand what is going on with Asher?! We are childhood friends. At least you should understand why his anger was to this level even if I am not telling you!" I almost shouted in irritation as I had not thought that could have possibly been this stupid.

"No, I do not comprehend what the reason is. Tell me." She demanded. I just held my head as this matter was only giving me a headache. I knew that I should not reveal this information without Alpha's permission, but I thought I should tell her honestly or history would be doomed to repeat itself and she would go crazy over him again.

"He has found his mate." I told her quickly in one breath praying to the Moon Goddess that Asher would not hear me.

"What? You are lying to me, right?" She urged, shocked.

"No I am not lying. He has found his mate. It means you both are not destined to become mates in the future. It is time for you to move on and find your own mate." I explained to her, she looked like she wanted to cry. I could understand her feelings, but nothing was under our control as the moon goddess had decided everything.

"Who is his mate?" Jessica inquiered.

"The girl in front of whom you told the lie that you are Asher's girlfriend. The same beautiful girl standing with him in the canteen, over whom he has gone mad. She is his mate... Bella." I informed Jessica of her future Luna's name too.

"This is not possible! If they are mates, then when I told the girl that I was Asher's girlfriend, neither Asher nor that girl contradicted me. She should have gotten aggressive when she witnessed me in Asher's hold. I think both of them hate each other and will soon reject each other then I will get my chance!" Jessica exclaimed. Then left from the gym giving her mind a false sense of hope.

In the corner of my heart I knew that there was no use in trying to convince that foolish girl, but I had made one last attempt. I had not told Jessica the whole thing. In fact, I was looking remotely towards the same trashcan of the canteen where he had gone in his wolf form. After jumping from the library's window, he did not go directly to the forest but had stopped first at the trashcan of the canteen.

Despite being an Alpha, his wolf was madly trying to find the exact ice cream he had seen in the trash that he had last seen Bella throwing away. He overturned the entire dustbin, scattering all the garbage on the ground as well and of course it was too late as I had thought. When he had found it the ice cream had completely melted, it only served to double his anger. Until his rage had subsided, he kept on hunting. I shoved the thought from my mind and I went back inside the room. I ran towards him to stop again. Asher's P.O.V

"Alpha, please control your wolf. It is going to be morning soon and we are still in school. Please understand what I am getting at." Leo asked. Coming to stand at my side but keeping a distance from where the punching bag was. Earlier, when he had come to convince me, he had gotten hurt due to standing too close. Despite my warning, he was again trying to convince me to calm down. But each of Bella's words were echoing in my ears as if she was still standing in front of me. Screaming and telling me all the same things over and over again. It was making my wolf Ross furious and I was losing my control to him.

"SHE AGAIN SAID SHE WOULD NOT ACCEPT US!! ASHER, DID YOU HEAR ME!?!" My wolf Ross shouted in my mind, making me punch the punching bag to the level that it tore apart and sand began flowing to the floor.

"AHHHHHHHH!!!!!" I shouted kicking the now useless punching bag on the floor.

"ASHER!! PLEASE I'M BEGGING YOU!!!" Leo shouted trying to hold me back. Now he was also scared of my fury using his friend's tone, calling me by my name and not Alpha. I was taking a deep breath while looking at the little wolf locket laying on the bench in front of "How dare she say she would not accept me as her mate!' I said, taking a heavy breath looking at the little wolf.

"BECAUSE YOU WERE THE ONE THAT PUSHED HER TO THAT LEVEL!! I TRIED TO DO THINGS THE RIGHT WAY IN THE CANTEEN. I WAS TRYING TO APPROACH HER WOLF AND SHE WAS READY TO GIVE US A CHANCE!! DESPITE YOU DOING ALL THOSE DESPICABLE THINGS TO HER, BUT YOU MESSED IT ALL UP BY NOT SAYING THAT JESSICA WASN'T YOUR GIRLFRIEND!! YOU DIDN'T EVEN TELL HER THAT YOU DIDN'T JUST WANT HER FOR HER BODY!!!" My wolf Ross shouted again and I was silently listening to him.

"BECAUSE OF YOU WE ARE LOSING HER!! SHE HAS EVEN REJECTED ME!!! DID YOU HEAR ME!!? WE ARE LOSING OUR MATE!! I WILL DIE IF SHE MOVES ON WITH HER LIFE WITHOUT US! SHE WAS DAMN SERIOUS WHEN SHE SAID SHE ISN'T WEAK LIKE OTHER SHE-WOLVES!! SHE HAS MADE HERSELF STRONG, SO STRONG THAT SHE EVEN SENSED WHY YOU DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING IN THE CANTEEN ABOUT THAT THING WITH JESSICA!!! YOU HAVE SPOILED EVERYTHING!! WE ARE LOSING OUR MATE!!!!" My wolf Ross screamed at me. I kicked the bathroom door open, leaving Leo in the gym. I took my jeans off and threw them away from me as I stood under the shower and turned the water on, letting the cold water hit me.

"NOW SAY SOMETHING!!!" Ross again yelled at me, I opened my eyes. I was holding the little wolf locket in my hand and looking at it.

"NO MATTER WHAT YOU OR BELLA SAYS, I WILL NEVER LET HER RUN AWAY FROM MY CLUTCHES!! I WILL SHOW HER HOW STRONG A SHE-WOLF SHE IS!! SHE WILL HAVE TO KNEEL DOWN TO OUR MATE BOND!! SHE CAN NOT DENY THAT HER MATE IS AN ALPHA!! IS ME!! ALPHA ASHER!! I WILL MAKE HER ACCEPT ME BY HOOK OR BY CROOK!!!" I shouted back at Ross through the mind-link, now he was silently listening to me. I had given him security that neither of us were going to accept her rejection. I was not letting her go.

"Then let's chain her to the mate bond. Mate with her and mark her. I will never let her go to another male." Ross schemed, I angrily laughed when I heard him.

"What other male? You mean she is dreaming about a second chance mate? f**k her dream about second chance mates, I will make her accept me as her mate and her Alpha." I promised, putting the wolf locket around my neck.
