Her Forever -
Chapter 61
Sadie
Seth was right. We really didn’t sleep last night. For a moment, I thought I was going to catch my breath when our own wolves came forward, taking over our bodies. Of course, once they were done, then Seth was ready to go. Our bodies were both covered in love bites, markings, and I was completely drained and sore.
The sun was already high in the sky. We never got to watch the sunrise as we both fell asleep just before it made its ascension. The birds now chirping and the crickets and cicadas that usually sang in the night were now gone. Frost had dusted the ground in the morning and wouldn’t stray until the sun was up well above in the sky.
My eyes continued to fight gravity as I turned my head to see Seth still asleep, spooning me. I could almost smell the dried sweat on his body, as well as mine. As gross as it sounds, I loved the smell. We smelled like each other and that in itself would ward off any unmated wolf that would dare touch what was mine.
The bite I gave Seth certainly made our bond concrete. When Seth bit me, I knew I was his, but it wasn’t until I bit my mark onto him did I feel the possessiveness. The urge to keep him with me all the time was so strong now that I knew I was going to be throwing fits if I ever saw a woman with him. That wasn’t like me in the slightest, but I’m sure Seth would enjoy it.
I squeezed Seth’s arm as it draped over my chest, his hand was firmly planted on my chest not letting go. Giggling slightly, I could hear Seth’s heartbeat quickening, letting me know he was waking up. “Morning, Love.” His voice was raspy as he gave me a quick squeeze. I let out an involuntary m**n and felt Seth’s e******n rub against my naked body. He left a quick k**s on the top of my head and squirmed against me.
“Mmhmm, I’m so sore. How can you even move that beast?” I whined and pushed my butt against him.
“I will always be ready. Just say the word. I’ll pound you even when you say stop.” Seth flipped me over and kissed me up and down my neck while my hands roamed his body. “However, we should probably shower.” Kissing up my neck, he pulled me to his chest and led me to the bathroom.
Seth and I walked into the shower and let the steam heat while we just held on to each other. The water droplets from the steam fell down the glass as we stepped in. We only bathed each other as we washed each other’s hair. Our eyes never strayed from each other as we laughed and talked about our future.
We both wanted children. We didn’t doubt that, but the number that we wanted differed greatly. I would have been happy with 3 or 4, but Seth was set on having at least 8. Our lives would be significantly longer. I mean, we were immortal, unless killed in battle or murdered in some way. We agreed as long as we spaced out our children that we could technically have as many as we wanted.
As Seth washed my body with vanilla and strawberry body wash, he told me of our new home. We were to live in his pack for the time being, seeing that my parents are still the rulers of the kingdom and were not ready to give up the crown just yet. We would rule together when the time came and I would have him as my King. We would make our decisions together as a team. Seeing how the goddess put us together for a reason, his physical strength and my compassion would both make the Moon Kingdom and other kingdoms stronger. That was our primary goal, to make sure all were taken care of, not just our own kind. Protect those that were weak and for those without a voice.
His pack was large and near the palace so I could visit my parents often if I chose to, however we would be busy the next few months as they teach me the Luna duties that I would fulfill along with any tutoring my mother wanted me to accomplish. Seth said he would be very busy since he will have to go back to training himself as well as the other warriors since he said there was some unrest in other kingdoms that could very well affect our own. As I questioned, he put both hands on the side of my cheeks and told me not to worry my pretty little head about it.
Instead of being the quiet, innocent little thing he had always known, I gave out a huff and a small scowl. Seth looked down at me with worry.
“Are you alright?” His brow raised in concern.
“No, I’m not. I’m supposed to know what is going on too. I’m a princess and a Luna and I need to help protect others in other ways besides fighting. What is going on?” I stomped my foot in frustration and Seth gave out a small chuckle and gripped my h**s.
“There are just some stirrings about a possible battle because of some disagreements. We hope to have it resolved before anything happens. It is really nothing to worry about.” Seth spoke as he gave me a quick peck on my lips.
“I need details then.” I crossed my arms, causing my breasts to rise. Seth looked down and licked his lips as my bare chest was still on display.
Seth was about to explain while touching my body, but we heard a loud banging at the door. We both sighed in frustration as Seth jumped out of the shower and put a towel around his waist. Water was dripping down his back as his retreating form continued to go further away from me. I was already feeling flustered when he was leaving, so I put a towel around my chest that was low enough to hit my mid-thigh and followed.
There was a cart of food waiting at the door with an unmated she-wolf bringing in. I had never seen her before around the pack house, so I stayed around the corner to watch the interaction. Seth took the cart from her and never so much as looked at her.
“Thanks, just leave it over there,” he pointed to the dining room table. Seth went to check his computer in the small office area on the side of the room when she-wolf came up behind him.
“Is there anything else I can do for your alpha?” Seth wasn’t paying attention as he started typing on his computer, but the way the she-wolf spoke, I knew it was to be seductive.
“No, it’s fine, you can leave now.” Seth never looked away from his computer, but I saw as the wolf tried to touch Seth on the shoulder.
“Are you sure about that-” before she could finish, I let out a loud growl in warning. Seth whipped his head backward to see me with my teeth elongating and rage in my eyes. How dare this woman come close to my mate? He bears our mark! I was feeling anger rising in me I never knew I had in me. I’ve never been so angry that my fist became tight and my head throbbed.
Gaia was an entirely different story as she started clawing at me, telling me to show her who’s boss. Gaia has never commanded me to hurt someone before, so I felt confused. Seth stood up and glared at the she-wolf who only bowed her head and started backing up to the door. She dared not turn her back, for fear I would jump her, which I really would have.
Once the door was shut, I looked up at Seth. I was still angry. I wanted to go out the door and finish her off. My breath became uneven, and I started breathing heavier.
“Sadie, Love, big deep breaths with me.” I tried to slow my breathing, but it was becoming difficult. Sensing my distress, Seth approached me and put my head up in the crook of his neck while taking deep breaths. His scent entranced me and I felt the bond grabbing hold of me and trying to blanket my anger. My breaths slowed as well as my heart as I came down from an incredible rage that I felt in me.
“Sadie, I’m sorry. I should have made her leave immediately. I didn’t know she was going to do that.” Seth patted my head and held me close. We were both still in our towels and had no intention in moving from the spot.

“What you felt was anger and jealousy. You had it before you marked me, but this is the first time you felt that someone was a threat to you. I know it’s scary and a lot of emotions are running through you.” He lifted my face to meet his. “It is completely normal. I just need to help you control it. You are still the same Sadie, OK?” I smiled a little. My eyes stung a little for being angry at myself. I’ve never been so upset seeing some other woman get around my mate.
“It will cool down in a couple of days. You won’t feel the jealousy as much. I’ll make sure I’m not put in that situation anymore either, alright?” I nodded and put my head back in the crook of his neck, feeling much better than I did before.

The rest of the day, we packed our things to get ready for our journey. We were to travel to the other realm and my anxiety was at an all-time high. Leaving Earth would be an adventure I’ve always wanted, just never realized to this extent.
For one, there isn’t a lot of use of cars for a mode of transportation. They wanted to keep the land fertile and fresh, so polluting it with gasoline and machinery takes away the magic of the land. Many people would travel in their animal form, by horse and carriage and by magic. Many werewolves traveled in the own form while royalty always travelled in the carriage so they were protected of rogues.
The land also had many plant and animal species that I would have to get used to, along with other types of subcultures that I had met during the mating ceremony. I was personally excited to see the water realm one day, but unfortunately, they aren’t too keen on land dwellers. They liked to stay to themselves, but the occasional siren would surface and walk on land for the day.
Learning the different cultures and species was going to be my favorite. I’ve always enjoyed fairy tales as I child and the possibility for those to be half truths was exhilarating.
“Are you ready for tomorrow?” Rebecca asked as we sat at the dining room table. Everyone that lived in the pack house and families of werewolves I had come so close to came. Max was sitting next to me, being serious and stoic, making sure that no one was to harm me. He even asked to test my food for poison and I couldn’t help but let him do it. Several of the girls sitting with their families giggled and awed over him of how he would be the perfect mate.
I smiled at Max, who only now nodded at me. “My sweet Max, I don’t want you to become too serious. I still need to see that wonderful smile. I only want to be surrounded by happy warriors.” I nudged him as he bit into his large piece of chicken breast and he let out a small smirk. He was going to be a heartbreaker.
“Yes, I’m ready! I’m so excited to see the pack house and the entire countryside!” I squealed. Rebecca returned the same enthusiasm as Lela nodded. She and her mate said they would also join us at the pack house since his family lived in the other realm.
“We leave at 6am, it is about a half day’s journey from the portal to the pack house, so we need to get across quickly to avoid any travel delays.” Seth mentioned to Marco and Nathan. Nathan agreed and Diana gave Nathan a quick warning glare while he sulked. I tilted my head in confusion, but Diana waved me off to not worry about it.
However, it would be something for Seth and I to worry about…
