WHY DO YOU HAVE TWO?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
⏳ Sixty moons later⏳
Another winter left the ground fluffy with a thick white blanket of snow, the flakes falling from the clouds glistening as the weak rays of the setting sun bathed the frozen ground.
– How long are you going to be there? – Margaret asked, sitting on the bed with her book in her hand.
– Why do I have two? – she answered the question with another question without taking her eyes off the falling flakes that melted as they touched the ground.
– Two what boy? – he turned the page of his book.
– Two names, I don’t understand,” he leaned over the window, it had been bothering him for a long time and not knowing the answer made him angry.
– Ask who gave it to you, now let me finish reading my book, I’m at the best part!
– Another thing I don’t understand, why do you like to read these books, they don’t even have stickers!
– They don’t need stickers, just the old imagination, which by the way you don’t have – Margaret smiles and turns another page of her romance between angels.
– Margaret, Occisor, come to dinner! – Mari shouted from the kitchen.
Margaret sighed and marked her book and laid it on the bed, Occisor climbed out the window and stood behind his older sister.
Margaret was now a young woman of twenty, her long red hair had grown to her buttocks, her upturned nose, large honey brown eyes and small mouth adorned her thin, delicate face. But, as they say, he who sees the face does not see the heart, and in Margaret’s case, they did not see her fists or her bloodlust.
Occisor, though only five years old, her body already looks ten years old. His hair black as night, his eyes equally black, though young, his understanding grew according to his body and not his age counted in human form.
Taking care of Occisor as a puppy was not easy, Mari thought he was really the result of a betrayal and that he was nothing more than a human, but she realized she was wrong. She doesn’t know why he was born in human form, but now she knows that he really is the son of an alpha.
” Was he meant to be an alpha, just like his father?” – Mari wondered as she noticed how strong the baby was, in the time she had adopted him. She had no way of knowing, the boy to this day, never showed his lupine side.
– The smell is good! – Occisor sniffed the air, feeling the rare buffalo meat.
– Only you like to eat this,” Margaret sat back in her chair and began to order her plate.
The diet of the three members of the Van Helsing family was totally different. Margaret would eat human food, rice, beans, salad, greens and vegetables. Mari, would drink b***d collected by the government and Occisor, would eat almost raw animal flesh, but proof that he was not a human.
– Mari – Occisor called her when he finished eating.
– Say it.
– Why do I have two names?
Now even Margaret had stopped eating to pay attention to Mari’s answer. She had never told anyone the true story of the curious little boy.
Mari took a deep breath, she knew she was growing up too fast, and sooner or later she would have to have a serious talk with him about his real past.
– When you were born, your mother told me to name you Rudolph the mighty wolf, however, that name didn’t seem suitable to them, but out of respect for her I didn’t take it, however, I named you Occisor, it will come in handy in the future – as she finished speaking, Mari took her last sip of b***d.
– What does Occisor mean? – he asked even more confused.
– Matador – answered Margaret and finished eating her potato.
– Why does that name suit me? – he asked, his eyebrows furrowed.
– I think we’ll soon find out – said Mari and got up from the table, picking up the dishes.
– The sun has already set, you’d better go to sleep,” said Mari and kissed Occisor on the forehead.
– Have a good night,” the little man walked out of the kitchen leaving Margaret and Mari alone.
– It’s time for you to go to bed too.
– When will I turn in?
Mari rolled her eyes, for about three years now Margaret has been asking her every day about this, she wants to have superhuman strength, in her vengeful mind she needs it, otherwise she will never be able to avenge her parents and all the other humans who died for the pleasure of the lycanthropic monsters.
– Don’t make that face, you promised! I’ve been waiting for ten years! – Indignation was present in her soft voice.
– You still have a lot to enjoy… Meeting other people, a guy….
– I don’t want to meet anyone! – She crossed her arms over her breasts.
– You love reading romance novels, don’t you want to live one? – Mari wipes her hands on the cloth.
– After we’re done with these monsters, maybe.
– And how are you going to live a romance being a corpse? You know we live in this area because the sun’s rays can kill me. You want to live like that? Running around in the dark?
– If that’s the price to pay, I do. And how I want to – Margaret spoke with conviction.
Mari sighed, she had been trying for years to get that idea out of her head, but it seemed impossible.
Living always in the dark, being a hostage of the night, was not a pleasant thing. Unlike what many know, Mari’s species doesn’t die from charring when they come in contact with the sun, their body gets sick, instead of gaining vitamin D, their body loses all nutrients and becomes anemic. So yes, vampires do get sick.
But Mari, she is not a pure b***d vampire, she was transformed, her father, Julios Van Helsing sold her to the b***d sucking monsters. Her buyer wanted her for s*x, and the human body couldn’t take it, so he turned her and forced her to live in darkness.
– You don’t know what you’re talking about, girl!
Mari turned her back on him and walked out of the kitchen.
– I am not a child! – Margareth screamed, and Mari covered her ears, her eardrums, though inferior to those of werewolves, were also sensitive. After all, both races are hunters.
With short steps, Mari made her way to Occisor and Margareth’s room, she opened the door and Occisor was sitting by the window.
– Aren’t you sleepy? – she asked as she approached.
– I’m still worried, what really happened to my mother?
– She is in heaven now, my dear, and she has asked me to take care of you,” he hugged her from behind.
– If I… If I hadn’t been born, she would still be alive…. I am a monster, a…
Mari interrupted the boy’s speech by turning him sharply to face her.
– Don’t say that, don’t despise everything your mother did to ensure your survival! I thought the moon goddess had a purpose for you! – she spoke firmly and wiped away the tear that ran down the innocent eye of the little Ocisor.
– Who is this goddess?
– The creator of her field.
– And what is my race?
Mari felt her brain tighten, her heart was no longer beating, so all her emotions came from her brain, so she defined it.
– Let’s sit down, I think it’s time for me to tell you your real story.
A mixture of elation and fear ran through the young man’s body, if she hid the truth, is it because it is painful? “What did Mari hide from you for so long?” – he wondered as he made his way to the bed.
