Destined To A Rejected One -
Chapter 6

THE BIRTH OF THE BLOODSTAINED FEMALE
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The cold wind whipped the window, the blows caused by the hail on the huge timbers ended up startling the genuine lunam who cowered by instinct to defend her big belly, full of the strongest puppy of all her race. The heir.
– Looks like someone has angered the gods – she whispered thoughtfully and licked her belly to show her cub that they are out of danger.
Her belly stroking was interrupted by the sound of the heavy door scraping the floor.
– Come, Kathe, I have brought dinner – the genuine entered the room with a large piece of lamb with fresh b***d still in his mouth.
Kathe was quick to get up from the bed and went to meet her companion, her mouth salivated as she inhaled the delicious smell emanating from the burnt meat and the puppy inside her stirred.
– Your belly is very big, surely a son will be born who will be even stronger than me and any other that has ever come into existence – spoke the genuine alpha proudly as he watched his female delight in the feast he brought.
There is nothing more pleasurable for a male than to see his female happy and well fed carrying her young.
For ten moons now the couple had been waiting for their child, the genuine lunam can only fertilize once in her life, the womb being the womb of only one child, a male child, nothing more. But the goddess was more than willing to change things, and indeed, on this night of great storm, another surprise awaited the race of lycanthropes.
As he finished chewing the last piece of meat in front of him, the pains took over his body, the howl announcing the contractions in his belly. The genuine alpha felt her heart beating faster and helped her back to the bed, then howled loudly to let everyone know that her heir was finally coming into the world.
The rain outside was getting louder and louder, inside the big genuine’s den the grunts of pain frightened everyone. The paused breathing of the great she-wolf, her head bent down, the b***d pouring from her slit, all too intense for Kathe. The genuine felt it all, all the anguish his female felt, some of the pain. He paced back and forth, suddenly his den (room) seemed to have become too small for that big black wolf with red eyes.
In the instinct to try to ease even a little of his female’s pain, he jumped on the bed, from his mate he received a disapproving growl, but he was undeterred, and approaching with sure steps, he began to lick the crevice through which his pup would pass. The big she-wolf relaxed a little, her male was soothing her, but still her heart would not calm down, her furry body trembled, she found it hard to even have the strength to keep her eyes open.
In an hour, exactly in an hour, the genuine alpha had her eyes wide open.
“How is that possible?” – She wondered as she watched the b***d-stained puppies on her bed.
The genuine moved closer to assess more closely. There were two puppies. Leaning his large muzzle against the completely black puppy, he realized it was dead, its furry little body growing colder and colder. Swallowing hard, he brought his muzzle close to the other puppy, which was not black, but white, with several red spots in its fur. Carefully, he turned the puppy over, and the startle sent him back a few steps, almost falling off the bed. This can’t be happening. It shouldn’t be happening. Steeling himself, he looked back down at the dead puppy, turning it on its back, its manhood in full view.
A clap of thunder rolled across the sky and lit up the entire room making the genuine thing even creepier. He growled in fury. Soon the genuine understood what had happened, though weak, without the strength to even lift her head, she understood what had happened. And she cursed her puppy. Not only she, but all the others, as soon as they heard what had happened, would also curse the murderer.
Snarling, the genuine came out of the den, returned to his human form and regardless of his nakedness entered the meeting room. His chest rose and fell rapidly, he controlled himself as much as possible not to break everything around him, his hands clenched into fists.
– Let the beta come – he shouted to the omega who was changing the old water in the jugs for fresh water.
Without a word, just a silent bow, he did as he was ordered. In less than five minutes, Genuine beta appeared in the meeting room.
– Genuine – he bowed his head in respect as he entered the room and took one of the chairs for himself.
– She… she killed my heir, Lacios! – he punched the table and the shrill sound filled the room – And now? my companion won’t impregnate again! Damn her! – he angrily threw the chair against the wall, which ended up crashing.
– I don’t understand Kratos, if the offspring died, shouldn’t the womb of the genuine one be able to give birth to another child? – Lacios, the genuine beta used the logic of lycanthropic reproduction in a failed attempt to calm the spirits of his genuine alpha.
– Yes – answered Kratos with a red face, – If only two hadn’t been born, and if one of them wasn’t still alive!
He controlled himself as much as possible not to scream, since he had no heir to protect, he had no obligation to remain in his lupine form.
– Two… – he repeated the words still perplexed by what he had just heard – Two….
– You’re so deaf! Don’t keep repeating what I say! – Kratos shouted, his patience already at minus one hundred.
– Excuse me – Lacios spoke up and put his brain back to work – The puppy that survived….
– It’s a damn female! – Kratos answered without waiting for Lacios to ask the question.
– It can’t be possible -his eyes widened. The wind whistled loudly outside and another clap of thunder rolled across the sky.
– It’s all that damn thing’s fault!
– Who?
– The goddess, that wretch! – Kratos paces back and forth.
– I thought she was just a legend…
– No, she’s real!
Kratos remembered the exact day the goddess had promised to wipe out the lycanthrope bloodline. And that infuriated him even more.
Kratos sees his thoughts interrupted with the sound of someone knocking on the door, by the smell he already knows it’s an omega.
– It better be something very important omega bastard, otherwise you can get ready to get your head smashed in! – he shouted to his omega brother as soon as he opened the door.
– News has come from the rising herd.
– And what the hell do I care about that ….
– The moon velut was killed for treason, a human cub came out of her being, and a cimex moon rebelled against everyone to defend the velut and the child. They were both killed, but no one has come up with the whereabouts of the child.
– When did this happen? – Lacios asked.
– About three hours ago, the alpha is now burning with fever over the death of his mate.
– But there’s a problem – Kratos took a deep breath.
If the alpha passes away without an heir, the genuine one is obliged to ensure the ascension of some beta as the new alpha through disputes.
– Send our best healers there. I don’t want to have to take over the reins of another herd.
Finishing his order, Kratos sat down exhausted on a cushioned chair.
– Now you can go – he ordered and closed his eyes tightly.
– Genuine – Lacios caught Kratos’ attention – since you don’t have a b***d heir, you’d better organize a tournament among the alphas to mate with your offspring. That way the bloodline will not perish – Lacios quickly thought.
– You are right, since she was born a female that should not exist, surely she has no destiny. I should be able to impregnate anyone – The genuine one smiled – I will select the strongest ones to fight each other and thus earn the right to grant me an heir!
For the genuine one that was the perfect plan, the goddess would not triumph, too bad the creation will never be greater than the creator. Kratos did not understand. Yet.
