Did the wild girl think he had no clue she admired his sister?

Unfortunately, his brother was not a brother but a sister. Caroline was bound to be disappointed.

Donald suddenly got up. He told his children, "Hay, Hugh, spend some quality time with Kevin. I'm taking your mom on a drive."

"I'm going with you, Dad."

Hugh did not want to be a third wheel.

Donald glared at his son. He scolded, "Why are you going on your parents' drive? You can go on one yourself if you want to. Don't follow us."

Hugh said, "Dad... I'm your son. Your biological son."

Donald let out a hmph and said, "I'm only talking to you because you're my son. If it were other people, I would've kicked them aside right away." Hugh was speechless.

He was certain that he was a free gift given to his parents.

Donald and his wife left within ten minutes. Hugh found an excuse and sneaked out too.

Hayden sighed as Hugh did. She knew her family was creating a chance for her and Kevin to be alone. Was she her parents' biological daughter? Were they not worried that she would be at a disadvantage if they simply handed her over to someone?

She glared at Kevin.

He said innocently, "I never bribed your parents. They just like me a lot. They treat me as their son-in-law and are letting us have the chance to spend alone time together."

Hayden said coldly, "How many times have I told you this, Kevin? We aren't suited for each other. I don't want to get married either."

"How would you know we're not a good match if you haven't tried it? Anyway, I think we're made for each other. Everyone gave a compliment when they saw us together. If you aren't planning to get married, are you going to have your husband marry into your family?"

Kevin smiled and said, "That's not hard. My parents have three sons. They won't care even if I marry into my wife's family. They'll be content as long as their son can get a wife." Hayden was speechless.

It was useless talking sense into such a shameless person.

Kevin was an eloquent speaker. Hayden would always be at a loss for words from Kevin's speech in the end.

He asked, "Do you want to explore the place? I'll take you to the night market. I bet you've never been to one. If you're afraid of being recognized, we can dress up and disguise ourselves." The idea tempted Hayden.

"How are we going to disguise ourselves? You're famous in Jensburg now. People will definitely recognize you when you're outside."

"I'll wear huge sunglasses, a black mask, and change my clothes. That way, people won't be able to recognize me. It's easier for you. I can guarantee that no one knows it's you if you revert to being a woman." Hayden was speechless again.

"I feel like going swimming on such a hot day. Although it's already late at night, we can swim freely in a private pool. I'm guessing you haven't gone swimming before in your entire life, right?" After a moment of silence, Hayden said, "I swam when I was young. I learned how to swim then."

She often went swimming before she hit puberty. After becoming a teenage girl, she had never gone into the pool. Over ten years have passed since then. She did not even know whether she could still swim. "Do you want to relive the cooling memories from your younger days?"

Hayden did not say a word.

The weather was scorching. It would be a lie to say she did not want to swim.

There was a swimming pool at her house. However, the only ones who knew she was a woman were her parents and brother. The manor's employees were unaware of it.

Therefore, she never entered the pool at the manor.

The employees thought their young master did not know how to swim.

However, little did they know that she never went into the pool because she had to hide the fact that she was a woman dressing as a man.

"There's a small pool on the top floor of Fortress Hotel. I had someone build it for my own enjoyment. I can vouch for the quality of the pool water. No one can swim in it without my permission. If you're up for it, we can go swimming now."
