Cosset You Forever -
Chapter 735 We Understand You Want To Kiss Her
"No, I know you are trying to trick us!" Lola hurried to stop Amber and Yvonne before they could open the door.
Thanks to Lola, Yvonne knew what they had said was a trick. She shouted through the door, "Cut the crap! Slide them in!"
Someone asked outside, "What do you want us to slide in?" It's obvious that the men outside were telling a dirty joke.
Everyone in the room understood it immediately except Amber and Yvonne who weren't married and hadn't had that experience. The two still shouted, "Red envelopes! Of course we mean red envelopes!" "Can we slide something else in?" The same man said.
"Something else?" The voice sounded familiar to Yvonne.
"Get out, so I can show you!"
The men outside understood what he meant, so they all laughed.
Ella blushed and winked at Lola who immediately understood her. Lola tugged at one of Yvonne's arms and said, "Ignore them, they are making fun of us."
Yvonne nodded. Then many red packets were slid under the door. The women inside the room hurried to grab them.
"Not enough! They are not enough for all of us!" Yvonne tore open the red envelope she got and was happy to see there was a lot of money in it.
Joseph knocked on the door to grab their attention and said, "Hurry up! This is your last chance. Here are some more."
Then, more red envelopes were slid underneath the door, enough for all of the women in the room.
"We've given you what you've asked for! Now open the door!"
Suddenly, Lola remembered that they had asked Harry to sing a song on her wedding.
"We have one more requirement. The groom needs to sing a love song for our bride!"
Hearing what Lola said, Ella smirked. Samuel had sung in front of her many times and he was a good singer.
But it never happened again after they registered for marriage.
Samuel began to sing, without any hesitation.
At the same time, some funny guy shouted, "If I were a boy... One, two, three, go!"
Everyone present laughed. Yvonne even laughed until tears streamed down her cheeks. She was determined to find out who the funny guy was.
After the laughter died down, Samuel sang, "If I had to live my life without you near me. The days would all be empty. The nights would seem so long. With you I see forever oh so clearly. I might have been in love before. But it never felt this strong. Our dreams are young and we both know. They'll take us where we want to go. Hold me now, touch me now, I don't want to live without you..."
The song was pretty captivating that everyone present was touched by it.
One of the groomsmen outside even took out their phone to film Samuel as he was singing.
The moment deserved to be recorded.
Ella's eyes filled with tears. She'd been waiting so long for today, the happiest day of her life.
Then the door was finally opened.
The crowd moved indoors.
There were so many big names in the lawyer world among them. Lola couldn't help but squealing when she saw so many attractive men in suits.
Samuel held an armful of red roses, walking towards the woman on the bed.
As they were staring at each other affectionately, Samuel's heart beat so fast.
Before Joseph could speak, Samuel rushed forward to kiss Ella.
"Wow, look at him! Samuel can't even wait."
"Does that mean they need some privacy and we'd better leave?"
"What are you doing? Samuel, it's not yet time to kiss the bride. You should say your marriage vows first." The crowd burst into cheers.
Ella blushed and pushed Samuel away.
"Samuel! Don't you feel shy kissing me in front of so many people?"
Her lipstick was smudged because of his kiss.
Samuel couldn't suppress his urges for his bride.
As Ella applied her lipstick again, Samuel whispered to Joseph, "Make the vows simple and short. I want to finish them as soon as possible."
Joseph stared at the cards in his hands, displaying a worried expression. How could he make the vows more simple as there were only a few words on the cards? Or should he just let Samuel skip the vows and take Ella away?
They had already stripped the wedding ceremony down to its essentials as there were no elders present.
Samuel held the huge bunch of red roses and knelt on one knee. He asked the question. "Ella, will you marry me?"
Even though he had already proposed to her, Ella was still moved by his gesture. Her eyes filled with tears, at a loss for words.
Samuel could sense how excited Ella was. He shouted, "Ella, please marry me!"
The crowd egged him on, "Marry him! Marry him!" Why are you silent?
Say yes!"
After being silent for a few seconds, Ella answered, "Yes." as tears cascaded down her cheeks, uninhibited.
She tried to hold them back, but failed.
Samuel gave the red roses to her.
Joseph looked at them with smile. Samuel turned to him and said, "Tell us what to do next!"
Joseph gave him a questioning look and said, "That's it. We are finished."
"No, we aren't. I remember there is an essential part, where you ask the groom to kiss the bride." He spoke so loudly that everyone in the room heard him clearly.
They burst into uncontrollable laughter.
"Samuel, you don't need someone to ask you to do that.
We all understand you want to kiss her." Joseph cleared his throat and said, "Now you may kiss the bride."
Samuel kissed her hard on the mouth and pinned her down on the bed.
Everyone cheered and whistled as they kissed.
"Wow, look at him. What are you going to do next? We can't see such scene. We are way too young for that."
"Samuel, do whatever you want. We are on your side!"
"Wow, this is the first time someone has done such a thing in front of me. I'm so excited!"
"That's hilarious..."
Samuel got up as Ella tried to catch her breath.
The make-up woman rushed to Ella's side and re-applied the lipstick.
At the same time, a bridesmaid brought over Ella's high heels.
Samuel knelt down and helped her put them on. Then he carried Ella out of the room.
The rest of the wedding party followed them down the steps to the gate, where a row of luxury cars were waiting for them.000☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐
