Miranda wanted to see how Nina would make a fool of herself. Not doing her job properly as a reporter, she actually went to invest in a TV series, and in the end, it would all go to waste. She would immediately become a pauper. This was Miranda's most anticipated outcome.

Nash did not say anything, but there was a subtle change in his expression. His car was parked at the door, and the two of them sat in it.

Miranda wanted to lean on Nash, but he spoke, "You've posted so much online but when are we getting married? When will there be a cure?"

Miranda smiled widely. "Don't worry, I'll start filming soon and won't have much time. Besides, Nina won't die now. I won't let her die. She might suffer a bit more, but with Wilfred around, she won't suffer much. I promise she'll be fine in the end!" Nash looked at her coldly. "I hope you can keep your word."

Miranda said affectionately, "It seems like I'm betting on Nina, but actually, I'm betting on you. If I let you down, wouldn't I be throwing myself into the fire? I'm not that stupid. I want a grand wedding and to be the happiest woman in the world, only you can give me that!"

She leaned her head on Nash's shoulder, enjoying the tranquility of being together. She had longed for moments like this in the past.

Now it was finally happening. Indeed, only by striving for what you want can you get it, even if it means doing whatever it takes.

They arrived at the film and television base.

Angel urged, "Nina, hurry up, we're going to be late!"

Nina and Angel came by car but were late by five minutes due to traffic congestion in their direction.

"Okay." Nina replied, carrying a large bag on her back and hastening her steps to catch up with Angel.

Just then, they bumped into Miranda and Nash.

Nina was bare-faced, dressed in loose-fitting clothes, and wore black-framed glasses. She had recently discovered that she was nearsighted. She now needed glasses, likely due to the rush of work and the strain of filming, which involved staring at screens for long periods.

As she hurried along, she unexpectedly ran into Nash and Miranda.

Without a doubt, Nash was accompanying Miranda to the set.

Angel paused briefly, then politely greeted, "Mr. York."

Nina glanced at them but did not pay much attention.

"Nina, congratulations, you're an investor now," Miranda said.

Nina looked up at Miranda. Even though she congratulated Nina verbally, but her eyes suggested that she believed the project would fail.

Nina replied formally, "Thank you."

"Do you know I've chosen the leading actress for 'Demon Bone'?" Miranda said. She wanted Nina to know her capabilities.

Nina replied, "I'm sorry, I've been busy with my new drama and haven't been following the entertainment news."

"It's okay," Miranda said with a smile. "After all, we're not in the same league, just filming in the same place. I heard the script was written by this director. She's not that well-known, right? Be careful with your investment in this series." Nina smiled slightly at her and replied, "I have my own judgment. You don't need to worry about me."

Nina and Angel quickly went inside. Compared to the big production of 'Demon Bone', their series was low-budget. The 'Demon Bone' crew had more actors and cameras, making this side look a bit deserted.

But they were determined to make a good drama. They were so busy they didn't even have time to eat.

Nelly held the script, sweating profusely, and yelled, "Cut!"

The scene came to an end.

Penelope's makeup had undergone a significant change, featuring a modern style with a sense of battle damage, conveying a feeling of brokenness and stubbornness.

Nina watched the footage on the camera. Although only the first scene had been filmed, she thought Penelope's acting was excellent.

Penelope was already emotionally invested in the character. Her eyes reflected the emotions of the protagonist.

Suddenly, there was a cry. Someone had been knocked over.

Nina looked over and saw an aerial performer actor from the opposite set had accidentally knocked down one of their resting actors. The aerial performer actor said, "Sorry, we're out of control."

Considering the impact of the bump on their actor, Nina wondered aloud, "With such a large set, did you really have to come over to our side?"
