Chapter 38: Could it be a Fresh Start?

I can feel the tension in between Astrair and my son. They're staring at each other and I can even imagine a bridge of electricity in between those two pair of eyes. "B-baby, can you introduce yourself to our visitor?" I started.

My baby just looked at me but then he immediately just shrugged and look at the other direction.

H-he ignored me.

I picked him up instead and out it on the top of my lap. I can sense how Astrair's stating at us intently.

"B-baby, don't be rude, okay? Please introduce yourself. Aunt Dawn and Dale taught you, right?" I whispered in the sweetest voice. I wish he won't ignore me this time. "Mommy, I do not like him. " He whispered on my neck.

I couldn't help but smile. My baby is so strict and naughty.

I saw how he is looking at Astrair so darkly to the point that I can't even see his eyes from chunkiness.

"Why don't you like him?" I asked.

He just pouted and slide down to run on the carpet and cuddled with Pikachu.

I am perfectly ignored.

I looked at Astrair."Told you. " I said and sit steadily while looking at my baby who's busily burying his Pikachu on the luggage.

Astrair stood up to come to me. But my son immediately screamed.

"Noooooooooooooooooo!" it was so sharp making Astrair go back from where he belongs.

"It's okay, baby. "I shushed him but he didn't give me attention.

He continued doing his thing but from time to time, he will turn his little fat face to look at us sharply.

"Damn it, Erza. Please, help me." Astrair.

I smiled. Seeing the father of my child being like this makes me happy. This is so different from what I imagined. I thought he will be angry to the point that he will get my baby from me. Or anything like it. But it didn't happen. "What did you do, why is he so angry with you?" Me. Yeah, definitely. What did Astrair did that my baby is angry like this.

"I-I don't know. He just attacked me on the lobby. But I-I think that's because he caught me kissing you." He whispered.

'That is what is in my head too. But it's not like it's my fault that my son has inherited this from him.

"He doesn't like it that we're always together. Maybe you'll start buying him his favorite toys. " I said. His face lit up. Like he just had a hope.

"Okay. " he said excitedly.

"But, you're the one who'll investigate what's his favorite, I can't tell you. "I said while a wide smile.

He smiled too. "I think, I knew already." he said confidently.

"Good. "I said.

We are in the swimming pool. My baby was floating on his donut with a little wayfarer in his eyes. I am smiling, he looked so strict like a boss.

I am just taking pictures of him every damn time. And I don't think I can get enough of this.

"Erza, we are going. Got to find some papabile. " Dawn.

I glared them. Even though these girls look liberated but I know they are not going to find men here. "Tell me."

She laughed. "Hill's here" they both said and walked away with a poker face.

I shrugged. Hill Magistrate was their brother and he's very playful with girls. I don't think Kisses his wife have an idea about this.

When my baby was sleeping, I grabbed him out of the water and put towel on him. I sat on a recliner while my baby in top of me.

He's wearing baby boxers but I covered him with towel and removed the wet ones on him.

My baby is chubby and he is so cold too. I just smiled. I missed him so much. It's been months.

I grabbed my bag on my side to get the lotion and put some on my baby's back.

While doing so, waiters came to us and put various food on the table on the side.

There's chocolate cake in Pikachu design. I got amazed.

"I didn't order that. "I said to the waiter but he didn't listen because he just continues doing his thing.

Wow! Even the waiter is ignoring me?

"Sir Astrair will be here soon, Miss Erza." said the waiter.

My eyes a little bit widen. How come he knew me?

"Easy ma'am. From the fact that you're famous and you are part of this buildings. " He said.

How did he find out what I was thinking?

"I am not a mind reader and I know you were thinking that. Because it's written all over your face. "waiter said and walked away. Wow.

So Astrair did this. That's why there's Pikachu hmm?

I grabbed the spaghetti and ate it.

I think my baby Hunk smelled what I was eating that's why he opened his eyes. I smiled on him and offered him a fork to eat.

"You want?" I said while raising the spaghetti from my hands.

He nodded that's why I gave him. Then he repeated nodding again making me give him more.

Got tired from floating hmm.

"You want cake?"

Me and my baby both looked at the side to see Astrair there.

I got nervous from the fact that maybe there will be chaos again if he will be here.

Baby Hunk's eyes also widened at Astrair holding Pikachu's cake.

"Picka-picka!!!!" he screamed and went to Astrair.

He seemed happy that his son at last went to him.

"Gimme that!" he said demandingly that didn't even look away from Pikachu.

"It is yours. But, please introduce yourself." Astrair whispered.

My son didn't even say anything else but immediately introduced himself as fast as he can.

"I am Hunk Ruthleth Gorayfood! Gimme-Pickachuuuuu!!!!!!!!" baby Hunk with a heavy British accent then get Pikachu and sat on my tummy again.

He didn't ate the chocolate, but just getting some Choco chips there.

I looked at Astrair with an eyebrow up. Can't believe he scored so easily.

I wanted to laugh so hard this time because Astrair's face can't be explained.

My baby doesn't give him attention again. So, he really thought that my baby is easy to get hmm?

But he grabbed something on his pocket revealing a yellow thing. My eyes widen seeing a Pikachu keychain.

Astrair went to my baby but Hunk runaway, he stopped him, he was about to cry but Astrair immediately raised the keychain.

"Look, it's Pikachu. " he said.

My baby's eyes widen upon seeing the yellow rabbit thing.

He run into me making me see what he's got from his daddy.

"Mommy! Look!" he said with a wide smile.

I accepted it and pulled him up. I kissed his neck making him giggled. He's so happy hmm.

I glanced at Astrair. He stared at us with warmth in his eyes.

"Look, it's daddy. Don't you like to get close to him? He'll buy you countless gifts. "I whispered.

My baby Hunk's eyes widen. "Wreally? Eeeiiiiiihhhhh! Daddy!" he said excitedly and jumped to be with Astrair.

Astrair smiled, like everything that is happening is unbelievable. That he's finally carrying my baby.

"Thank you.... I love you. " he said. I can feel the warmth of his genuine smile that touched my heart.

I smiled and took a deep breath.

Maybe it is true that I loved him. No, I love him. Really love him. Astrair was the first man who let me feel like this. Despite my memories from the past. At least, he let me feel loved and happy. I know that it was just a short period of time but then, he just hurt me more than I was hurt from my past. I myself also cannot believe that, what he had done to me caused me a greater pain than the pain I was bearing before. But I thanked him for giving me angel. That was his biggest card so I could forgive him. He gave me angel.

Maybe forgiveness really means something I can do. If they can do it, then why can't I?

Well, I cannot deny the fact that trust was something meaningful than forgiveness. You can lie about forgiveness, because you can keep your sorrows from the bottom of the heart. But trust. It is easy to break, but hard to restore. Maybe, if he will give me a fine explanation, I can still give him my full trust. But I think, he is contented. And he should be contented. Because I can't give him more.

The long day happened. I just woke up beside my baby and Astrair on the other side of the bed. Well, he has right because he is the father. And I know that he's longing for my baby too.

I was about to sleep again when someone hugged me tightly from behind. Just by sniffing his fragrance, I know, it is Astrair.

"Thank you." he whispered on my nape.

I smiled. No need, as long as you can be the father of my baby.

He slightly pinches my stomach and platted soft kisses on my shoulders.

I closed my eyes as tight as I can. We have work tomorrow and I don't want that the twins will find out what will happen about this night.

"Astrair, no-

I didn't finish when he grabbed me and pushed me on the bed while he is on top of me.

My eyes widen. What is he doing?

"I said-damn. "I cursed when he pulled down my dress that revealed my body.

"Ssshhhh.. Our baby will get mad at me if he knew." He whispered but continued.

His kissed went down till my chest.

"I can't believe we have a child, Erza. " he said and I can even hear him smirk "He has nothing to do with it, you're mine. And our baby is a living proof." he said as he continues savoring every moment.

I let him do what he likes. I am addicted to this, since the day we first did it. And I hope, he won't hurt me again. I hope that when I wakes up tomorrow, he was still the same Astrair I made love tonight. Not the one that he will just change and never say a word leaving me hopeless.
