True Love
(Book 4) – Chapter 140

She had had enough of always being made fun of or humiliated. And this time she wasn’t going to be intimidated by that idiot who doesn’t know how to take good care of her boyfriend.

-So you want to get your claws out.

-If you don’t let go of me right now, all you’ll see is the floor with your face on it. I threaten him. I didn’t want to cry anymore, I wanted to kill that woman.

-She tried to slap her but the woman stopped her and with that she got out of her grip, pushing the brunette backwards. Her thin heels clicked on the floor. She was pissed and Andromeda was no slouch.

-Stop it, Kalesa. What the hell do you think you’re doing?

Antoni’s voice echoed behind the two women and they both turned to look at him, standing there scowling. He was angry. But Andromeda was even angrier at him.

-Darling, this woman is mad, she pushed me. His face of confusion hurt Andromeda deep inside. She ran off in his direction, past him, but not before shouting at him.

-Control your wife, will you?

-What? he asked in confusion, taking her by the hand. She let go of his hand and ran away.

-Leave her, my love. She’s not worth it, I’m from here. She managed to hear this one.

-What the f**k did you say to her, crazy woman? Antoni faced her angrily.

-The truth. He laughed.

Andromeda turned around and there she knew it was all true. Antoni hadn’t followed her to tell her the truth, it was all true and she was devastated. How she had believed all his lies. And the fact that he didn’t follow her meant that he was patching things up with his girlfriend, she was nobody, she didn’t even belong in Greece. She was an outsider. She went up to her room and grabbed her bag with her belongings, she didn’t have time to pack, Antoni could go upstairs and cheat on her again and she would never let him do that again. She hurried downstairs and met the butler at the doorway.

-Can I help you, miss?

-Yes, I could use someone to take me to the port and Antoni has asked me to send someone to sail the yacht.

-Will young Antoni meet you at the harbour?

-Yes, yes.

-Very well, they’ll take her right away.

Ten minutes later Antoni’s yacht was ready to disembark. A few minutes later an older man in white arrived and introduced himself as Captain Tomas. She told him that her boyfriend would not be going with them, that he would catch up with her when the captain returned to Santorini. The man agreed as he had orders from home to obey the woman. They left in two minutes without any problems, even though night was already falling.

-I want you to get out of my house now Kalesa and never come back.

-You can’t do that, your parents invited me.

-Well, I’m kicking you out of here.

-What’s going on here? Antoni’s mother enters the scene.

-Mom, please take care of getting this woman out of the house. -But why?

-But why? -What happened?

-She told a lot of lies to Andromeda and ran off somewhere.

-Oh Kalesa! Why did you do such a thing? We opened the doors of the house to you because you told us that you had a good friendship with my son. And you have only come to ruin his relationship. Said the disappointed lady.

-No, no, Melisa, it’s not like that. She said with fake tears in her eyes.

-I want you to leave my house, please.

Antoni had left the terrace leaving the women to talk, he hoped that his mother would be a wise woman and make the best decision. He ran upstairs to the room but it was empty and his things were still there. Where could he go? He went downstairs immediately and ran into the butler.

-Have you seen my girlfriend? He asked without much formality.

-Yes, young man, a few minutes ago the young lady left for the port and said that you would meet her there.

-I what? He ran out and took the first car he could find with keys. He drove like crazy through the streets, until he finally arrived at the port.

-Shit! He’s gone, but how?

The coast guard was there giving instructions and he approached him and broached the subject immediately.

-Captain Smith, do you know what happened to my yacht?

-It left twenty minutes ago Antoni I thought you were aware, your girlfriend said you would catch up with her later. I assigned Captain Tomas to take her to Serifos. In a couple of hours they should be arriving.

What a cunning woman, she was gone, she had left him with absolutely nothing to explain. I judged him before I knew his side of the story. He was solid but mostly furious with Kalesa for telling so many lies. Andromeda had been through a bad relationship, it was natural for her to be suspicious, if they had only been dating for a few weeks.

-Captain, prepare a ship to leave right now for Serifos.

After a couple of endless hours in the freezing cold, Andromeda arrived home exhausted, disappointed, sad and hurt. It was already very late, it had been crazy to leave Santorini at night, but she didn’t want to be in that place as an intruder anymore. She would pack up her things and buy a ticket back to the States, that’s what she would do. But as she pulled into the driveway of her house there was a person she never expected to meet in her life.

-What the hell!

-You’re finally here.

-What the f**k are you doing here Fernando?

-I came to see you and take you back home.

-How did you find me?

-I’ve got my tricks, my love.

-Don’t call me that, you’re a shit. -You’re a shit. Get the f**k out of here.

-You’ll have to give me accommodation. -There’s not a room available on this f*****g island.

-That’s your problem not mine. -That’s your problem not mine.

He had enough to deal with what he had just been through to have to deal with that f*****g a*****e, seeing him standing there just gave him chills and disgust. And to think he once felt a deep love for him. He was crazy if he thought he’d give him shelter after the stupid things he was going to do, he had no nerve.

-You won’t leave me in the street, my love.

-F**k you! Or rather die.

-Oh come on, please! You can’t stay mad about it. Nothing happened.

-If it hadn’t been for Peter, it would have happened, a*****e.

That guy didn’t understand the word “f**k off”, was he deaf or what was wrong with him. He was the last person I wanted to see in the world. But there he was f*****g with her like he had done before. He was a pain in the a*s, and his mood was shitty. She was happy, though, because then she could treat him like the dirty dog he was. She took the keys out of her purse, opened the door, but when she was about to close it, this madman stuck his hand in and stopped her from doing so.

-I told you not to lock me out.

-I told you to get out.

Small drops of water began to fall, starting a big storm in seconds. Fernando was starting to get wet, including his suitcase. Even if he was dying from the cold, she wouldn’t let him into her house, not even if she was crazy. But her hand prevented him from closing the door.
