(Book 4) – Chapter 128

It wasn’t that she didn’t trust Fernando, but something deep inside her told her that she should wait. That it wasn’t the moment yet.

-But I don’t want to yet, I’m sorry Fernando.

She tried to get up but he prevented her, grabbed her by the shoulders and put her down abruptly. She looked into his eyes confused, but he was serious.

-What are you trying to do? Let go of me.

-I’m tired of you waiting, you want me to spend years by your side and only settle for a few k****s, that’s not how things work. Today we’re going to resolve this matter and you’ll see that after you try it, I assure you that you’ll want to do it every day.

She was horrified with every word that came out of her boyfriend’s mouth, the man who said he loved her, she never imagined that he could say such a thing to her.

-What’s wrong with you? You’re not like that, please let me go.

He grabbed the button of her jeans releasing it and at the same time pulling down the zip, she struggled to get free but she didn’t succeed. He took off his flannel and she tried to run away but he was on top of her, with the flannel he covered her mouth. Andromeda couldn’t believe what was happening, he was planning to abuse her, that this wasn’t just a game or a bad joke. When she reacted she struggled harder but he was bigger than her.

-Stay still, I promise you’ll enjoy it. The truth is that I didn’t want it to be like this but you don’t help me, we are boyfriend and girlfriend, it’s normal for this to happen, besides, who is a virgin at twenty-two.

She was trying to pull down her jeans at all costs along with her panties, she was wearing them at mid thigh when she saw her best friend behind Fernando’s back pulling him by the arm while he threw him to the floor. She m****d at the sight of him with tear filled eyes fixed on him. She pulled up her jeans and removed her gag.

-What the hell are you two doing? Experimenting with how to do it porn style.

-What the f**k are you doing in my house?

-You stay away, a*****e. Peter threatened him seriously. -Andromeda asked me to pick her up and I’ve been waiting outside for over half an hour, I went upstairs to pick her up and I find this.

She saw her friend picking up her things again, she was very nervous, she was paler than usual. What was happening there was apparently not of her consent.

-Please Peter take me home. She took his arm and he looked at her and then at Fernando. He was just staring at her.

-Are you going to leave? asked her boyfriend.

-Yes, and I’m never coming back, we’re done.

-Do you think you can finish me off like this?

-You heard her! Peter grabbed her friend’s arm and dragged her to the exit door.

-This doesn’t concern you, Peter. Fernando shouted at him.

-You’d better stay where you are, or else I’ll be forced to smash your stupid face in.

He didn’t move, it was logical that Peter was bigger and more muscular than him, he wasn’t going to risk getting a broken nose.

-We’ll meet again, my love.

She didn’t answer, she was so scared, hurt, disappointed in her boyfriend. He tried to force her to do something she wasn’t sure of. She was shaking like jelly, if she hadn’t asked her friend to pick her up, Fernando would surely have finished his mission. She had so much to thank Peter for, once in his car she burst into tears, she was heartbroken and so ashamed. Feeling her best friend’s arms around her shoulders as he whispered soothing words to her.

A couple of months later…

-Come on woman, you can’t stay cooped up for more weeks, you have to get out, get some air and work.

-I’m not in the mood for anything. She was lying on her stomach hugging her pillow with her eyes more than red.

-You’re a mess, you know that, I’m telling you, I’ve never seen you like this before. You can’t throw yourself to die for a lout.

-But he was perfect.

-Of course not, nobody’s perfect. Remember what he was trying to do to you. Who the hell can be perfect being like that?

-Don’t remind me anymore. He sank deeper into the pillow.

His friend sighed and sat on the edge of the bed rubbing his back in comfort.

-I have a solution for your depression problem, the first thing is that you get up and pack your bag, I recommend cool clothes and all your swimming costumes and a good sunblock. The second thing is that your flight leaves tomorrow for Athens.

And that’s how she found herself sitting in a seat on a plane to Athens, because of all she had been through with her ex, her friend thought it was a viable solution to get rid of all the pain she was feeling. Also for having to lie to her parents that they had argued and ended their relationship, her parents were so discouraged.

She didn’t know what she had told her parents about it but the truth was that she didn’t care, she was so hurt that she didn’t care about anything anymore. Her friend had been very good to her by giving her such a gift, she had been telling him for a long time that she wanted to travel to Greece since her mother was Greek but after she fell in love with her father she decided to live in the United States with him and never went back.

But she did want to go and see where she came from, and as Peter’s parents had a house on an island called Serifos, she jumped at the chance. It was a very small Greek island in the Aegean Sea, located in the Western Cyclades, but that was enough for her, she would be in Greece and that was enough for her, far away from the whole world and her a*****e ex.

Peter had given her a set of instructions on how to get to the island without getting lost, apparently the plane wouldn’t get her anywhere near it, the only way to get there was via its only port Livadi, located 170km from the port of Piraeus in Athens. So he bought her direct tickets and from there she would have to board a ferry, as she had no means of transport of her own. It didn’t seem so difficult after all.
