True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz) -
Chapter 919
As a woman, she felt hundreds of emotions when she thought of Jodie's existence.
She thought that Quinn must not be pleased.
After all, no one wanted their husband, whom they had been married to for many years, to suddenly have a grown child. That kind of feeling was not nice to deal with.
She had seen through Timothy's intentions and did not want him to be unhappy in the future.
Hearing that Grace had said so much, he nodded and said emotionally, "My child, I understand what you mean. You are a kind child and you're able to think for me. However, I am also your father, and I can't make up for the guilt I feel over you. My wife knows about what happened to me earlier on, and she knows everything about the situation between your mother and I."
"And I feel that if she really loves me, she will understand my feelings. If she can love you alongside me, that would be a blessing for me. I would be incredibly grateful towards her."
"If it's like you said, that human hearts are unpredictable and she doesn't actually think this way, then I can only split up with her." "I wouldn't be able to bear it if my daughter, who's been suffering for so many years, shows up, and yet I restrain myself from seeing or caring for her. I can't do that."
"I will compensate you, and I will also care for my wife. There is no conflict between these two."
"My child, I'll tell you what I think too."
"I hope you can understand that although you are an adult, you are still a child in my heart and my eyes. You are my child. But I haven't done anything for you, so my feelings can't be expressed in words." "If you push me away now, it will only make me even more ashamed and sad. I know that you are very kind. You're considerate about me and think for me, but I must put you first."
"I have loved your younger brothers for many years, and been in a loyal marriage with my wife for many years. I don't owe them anything."
"They will understand your existence."
When Grace heard him say these words, she had an unspeakable feeling in her heart.
The eyes of the person in front of her were filled with deep regret and remorse.
Looking at him, she sighed deeply. At first, she just wanted to kindly remind him to uphold and pay attention to his own family. Unexpectedly, he had said so much out of excitement. She smiled and said, "You know the importance of family more than I do. I'm already in this state, so I just hope that you and your other children can grow up in a complete family. That's for the best. It's also good for us to get along like friends. As long as your wife doesn't have any objections, and you're happy, I don't have any objections."
"She won't object," Timothy said firmly. "I'm not a fussy person. I've developed a habit over the years of always keeping my word at home. She is a teacher who teaches and educates people, so she naturally understands my feelings."
"Okay." Grace nodded.
Since she couldn't change his mind, she couldn't say much, either.
Soon, the chefs began to serve the food.
Little Gary called Grace and Timothy to come and eat.
The family had dinner at home. When it was time to go, Grace took the two children to see Timothy off.
He sat in the car and stared at her with a deep gaze. There was a strong reluctance in his eyes. He said to her, "I'm going to send you a dowry at your wedding. You have to remember to invite me. She was taken aback. There was a baby in her womb. She looked at her growing belly. Could they hold a wedding?
Heinz said, "Don't worry, Mr. Yarbrough. We'll invite you when we get married."
"Thank you." Timothy was about to leave, but suddenly he thought of something and said, "Honestly, Candace is a woman who doesn't speak her mind. I think she would also want to see Grace get married." Grace was stunned and laughed in self-mockery. "That doesn't line up with the version of her that I know. In her heart, her happiness is the most important, and her feelings are also the most important. It doesn't seem like my wedding has anything to do with her, so I won't let her know about it, let alone invite her."
Timothy was stunned for a moment and nodded to show that he understood. "Go back and rest early. I'll go first."
"Goodbye!"
After sending Timothy away, Heinz held Grace's hand and said, "Mr. Yarbrough might know more about Aunt Candace. I think it's unlikely that you're not in her heart at all, but she may have changed in the pas few years. However, I think that although her behavior has changed, her personality has not. She is actually not so bad."
"Heinz, stop talking." She shook her head. "I know you all want to comfort me, but I'm honestly not asking for motherly love at all."
Heinz was afraid that she felt uncomfortable after he said too much, so he didn't say anything more. He just said, "Okay, it's all up to you. You can invite whoever you want, but we have to hurry up and hold the wedding. Otherwise, your belly will get bigger, and it'll be inconvenient to wear a wedding gown."
"Henry and Jodie's matter has not been settled yet, and your father and my mother haven't got married yet. We don't know what tricks they are going to play, so I'm really not in the mood for a wedding," she replied. "If we love each other sincerely, it's no problem even if we don't have a wedding!"
"That won't do." He immediately shook his head. "The wedding is a ceremony for you. We have to hold a grand wedding for you. This is recognition of your status as my wife, and I also want to announce to the world that you are my legal wife."
She was startled.
Looking at Heinz, who had a very serious expression on his handsome face, she felt the softest part of her heart touched.
The tip of her nose suddenly felt sour.
It was the bitterness of happiness.
Almost subconsciously, she rushed into his arms.
She reached out to hold him, grabbed his clothes, and said emotionally, "Thank you, Heinz."
He wrapped his arms around Grace's delicate body and said softly, "You're moved just like that? You get moved too easily. What a silly girl."
"Yes, I'm silly." She nodded in his arms and said in a muffled voice, "But you want it, don't you?"
"Of course, how can I not want such a kind woman?" He replied. "You reminded your father to pay attention to his wife, right? He just told me that it's an honor for me to marry you. You're too kind." "How did he tell you that?" She was very surprised. "He speaks so soon!"
"Don't blame Mr. Yarbrough," he said. "He just wanted to remind me to take good care of you and love you. As a father who was absent, he was completely at a loss although he wanted to do his best. You know that. I also promised him that I would be good to you. I'll spoil you and love you for a lifetime, so he can rest assured!"
"Okay!" Grace raised her head and fixed her eyes on Heinz's face. This man kept getting better and better.
"Let's go back into the house. The weather is getting chillier, and it's easy to get cold at night." He held her tightly and walked into the house.
