Lowell led the children to play in the backyard for quite a long time. Grace was not at ease, hence she went to the backyard with Alice to check in on them.

However, she didn't find anyone there at all.

Her heart skipped a beat as she looked around in a panic. The three little boys were no longer in the backyard and nowhere to be seen.

She immediately asked the bodyguards, "Where are the children? Where have they gone?"

The bodyguard answered respectfully, "Miss Smith, the children have gone into the villa back there. They seem to have gone exploring. The butler gave them permission and told them to be careful. So, they were very happy and went to play inside."

After hearing such an answer, Grace felt a little more relieved. "That's good, as long as they are safe and sound. Thank you for your hard work."

"You're welcome, Miss Smith. It's what we should do." The bodyguard was also very polite.

Upon hearing Grace's gratitude, they became a little embarrassed and respected her even more.

"It appears that all of them admire the house in the back like I do. It is well-furnished, but I don't know why nobody wants to live there. They all stay in the front," Alice said doubtfully.

"Maybe it's because there are too many houses. There's no need to use the house there at all," Grace answered.

In fact, there was a big house in the backyard, which usually was not opened very often. They basically lived in the front.

Even Grace was surprised when she saw the villa in the backyard. The large empty house was discovered by the children and they even went in to play.

"Let's go and have a look too," Grace suggested.

"Sure."

The two sisters walked towards the villa along the path filled with flowers.

"Grace, the scenery here is stunning. Heinz's really good at enjoying life." Alice sincerely praised, grinning, "I used to think that the Smith family house is enormous. Now it seems that there's always something greater out there.'

After listening to her sister's sigh, Grace laughed. "Of course. Although this place looks good, and it is located in the city, I prefer the villa on the mountain. It is so quiet and pleasant. The air here is good, but not as fresh compared to the mountains. The oxygen is better there."

"Just be content with what we have," Alice said with a chuckle.

Grace also nodded. "Yes, this is Heinz's asset. All our enjoyment is all bestowed by him."

"Yes, Jensen and I have benefited a lot from it," Alice said. "It was Heinz who gave the house in Hart Villa District to Jensen, or else he can't even afford one."

Alice smiled along, joking. "Jensen and I probably still can't afford it after working for a long time."

"Alice," Grace said. "You have to go back to the Smith family and take good care of Sunny Group. That's Daddy's business. If all of his efforts are wasted, it'll be a pity."

Thinking of Sunny Group, Alice was very worried. She nodded and said, "I understand, Gracie. I don't want Daddy's efforts to go down the drain either, but I may not be as capable. I still wish that you can come back to Sunny Group, and I'll assist you. We can do it together."

Hearing Alice's words, Grace felt warmth in her heart. She knew that her sister said that because she was grateful to her. However, she understood that Alice was trying to find a better role for her to be regarded by society. She had not graduated from university while Alice has a master's degree. Alice was worried that Heinz would be deemed out of her league since she did not have a well-respected career o her own.

They looked at each other without saying a word, as there was nothing that needed to be said.

The worry in Alice's eyes and heart were all shown over her face.

After thinking for a while, Grace smiled and said, "Alice, I know that it's beyond me. Sunny Group will be yours."

"If I were to try anything, I will surely work hard myself. You don't have to worry about me, Heinz will also send someone to guide me and make sure that I'm on the right track. So, don't worry."

"Gracie!" Alice stopped in a hurry and looked at Grace. "Why won't you come back to Sunny Group with me? Isn't it better for us to work together and bring it to greater heights?"

Grace had her own plans in mind. She remembered what Marry had said the last time, that she was not Anderson's daughter.

These words had taken root in her mind, filling her with unhappy thoughts and selfdoubt.

However, seeing the worried look on her sister's face, Grace quickly gave a smile of reassurance. "I still have a lot of things that await me. Sunny Group is yours. Now that Marry has ended up like that, she will definitely be in prison for a few years. Anyway, when you're running Sunny Group well in the future, you can give her a bonus to Marry when she gets out of prison so that she won't starve to death. Then, I guess we'll be considered as worthy of father's trust."

"You seem to have something on your mind." Although Alice usually acted without a care, she was actually a mindful person. She found that there was something odd about her sister.

She felt that her sister seemed to be in low spirits whenever she mentioned the Sunny Group.

Grace quickly pulled herself together, denying it. "Nothing. I'm just a little tired due to recent troubles."

"I'm with you, Gracie. Sunny Group is ours. Although Marry has gone to prison, we won't take advantage of her. If the two of us join forces, we can also control Sunny Group, so that it won't end up bankrupt in her hands."

"I'm glad that you think so." Grace stretched out her hand and patted her sister's shoulder, saying, "You don't have to worry about me. Hurry up, let's go in and check in on the children."

"Okay." Alice nodded and followed her sister inside.

Pushing the door open, they entered a spacious lobby. The decoration inside of the villa was totally different from the outside. The whole lobby was decorated in a vintage, quaint way which seemed suitable for retirees to live in.

The whole style was simple and old-fashioned.

A few frames were hung on the wall of the living room. Meanwhile, Lowell was staring at a portrait. His small figure stood in front of the portrait, focusing all of his concentration on the portrait.

It was the portrait of a man who looked a little like Heinz.

However, he seemed to be a little older.

Since she was standing further away, Grace couldn't see clearly what exactly Lowell was looking at.

Gary and Ernest weren't looking at the portrait. They were upstairs.

Since she couldn't see the portraits clearly, she walked over and stood beside Lowell. She found that the man in the portrait truly resembled Heinz.

Grace was startled. Who was that man?

Could it be Heinz's father?

As for Lowell, he was still staring at the portrait without blinking. Upon a closer look, it was not a photograph but instead it was a hand-drawn portrait. In the mirror frame, it seemed to have lasted for quite a time.

Looking at Lowell again, she felt that there were some complicated emotions on his little face.

Staring at the portrait, his composed expression was beyond his young age. There seemed to be more complicated emotions in his eyes but eventually they returned to a tranquility.
