Chief Stone was very happy. Since Jodie had returned, Jodie's parents would rest assured in the future.

Queenie was stunned and nodded. "Okay, I understand. You go back first. I'll tell Heinz that I detained you."

Heinz didn't look at Jodie. He turned his face away and his whole body was extremely tense.

Chief Stone looked at Heinz and said to him, "Heinz, you came and met her. This situation is beyond our expectations."

Heinz was speechless. He could only listen to what Chief Stone said. A hint of desolation flashed across his eyes. "Yes, this is really beyond my expectations. We all thought that Jodie was dead, but she came back after six years."

"Heinz, this is a good thing." Queenie said, "Don't you want Jodie to be alive?"

"Of course I want her to be alive." Heinz said in a low voice, "I don't just want her to be alive, but I also want her to live well. Only when she is alive can I really be free."

Heinz laughed at himself and said, "I went to collect the marriage certificate with Grace, but I was told that I was still married, so I came here to ask them to cancel her account. I didn't expect this dramatic scene to happen, that Jodie actually came back."

"You went to get the certificate?" Queenie said in surprise, "So soon?"

"It's really cheesy." Heinz laughed at himself. "We got the marriage certificate because our relationship has reached a certain level. We should get married."

"That's right. Of course, you're on the Lawson family's side," Heinz said solemnly. "I can understand that as well."

After all, Queenie was Jodie's aunt, not Grace's aunt.

"Aunt Stone, what do you want to persuade me about?" Heinz actually understood why Chief Stone was on Jodie's side. After all, Jodie was her niece. "Tell me."

"Heinz, I've met her and I know she's a good girl," said Chief Stone. "But now, Jodie's back."

There was something wrong.

Heinz immediately sensed it.

He looked sharply at Queenie with deep pain in his eyes. "So?"

Queenie could hear the negativity in Heinz's tone.

Queenie was slightly stunned and she sighed. "Heinz, I heard that Jodie lived a terrible life in Alsburg all these years. She was a slave for many years and was abducted and raised in a primitive tribe. She ever lost her memory."

Heinz was stunned and shock flashed across his eyes.

"Over the years, she suffered inhumane torture and treatment. I just heard from my colleague who came back from Alsburg that in the hospital where she was, she got beaten every day and lived a life worse than death. Finally, when she returned to the medical team, she was also obsequious, as if her soul had been scared off."

Heinz narrowed his eyes and felt a little annoyed. He said impatiently, "Aunt Stone, what are you trying to say? Just spit it out."

Queenie frowned and explained hurriedly, "Heinz, we don't want you to break up with Grace. We just want you to put her aside for the time being!" "I can't!" Heinz shook his head. "Grace and I are going to get the marriage certificate today. Now that she's back, if I was to stop everything, what would Grace think?"

"Heinz, there is one more thing." Queenie said, "Jodie was pregnant when she was in Alsburg. When the medical team found her, she had a miscarriage because of the terrible environment there." Heinz's eyebrows were stern. "Aunt Stone, are you saying that Jodie's child was mine?"
