True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz) -
Chapter 1112
Everyone was glad to see the couple hugging and kissing each other.
Everyone present that day knew how much hardships both Heinz and Grace went through to be together. With their biological children, Little Gary and Ernest, and another two little ones in Grace's belly present on their most important day, everything was perfect.
It was probably God's plan for them.
Meanwhile, Heinz was still kissing Grace and had shown no intention to stop.
It was getting slightly awkward. She was aware that the crowd was still staring at them. She quickly pushed him away and protested in a low voice, "Heinz, everyone is watching!"
"I know." He had a mocking smile. Looking at her blushing face, his heart was throbbing uncontrollably. He couldn't help himself and he kissed her again.
Zachary was next to them and witnessed the whole scene.
He then reminded the bride and groom, "Next, let's welcome the bride and groom to express their love for each other."
"Yes, we want to hear them say "I love you" to each other!" Hermione couldn't contain her excitement and started making a fuss. She didn't act like she was a forty-year-old woman. Instead, she acted like a kid How could she say such a thing in front of everyone?
"Heinz, come on, don't be shy. Come on, we want to hear what you have to say to express your love to Grace," she continued to call out loudly.
"That's right. Heinz, say something," Alice added. "Children, do you want to hear it too?"
The kids shouted at the same time, "We want to hear it, we want to hear it."
"Just say it aloud."
Heinz and Grace looked at each other with surprise in their eyes.
It seemed that the crowd really wanted them to do so.
Since it was their wedding day, they had no excuse to back down.
He looked at her blushing face and felt even more satisfied. Suddenly, he teased her and said, "Ladies first. You can go first."
"What?" She was stunned for a moment. It was too outrageous for her to say such a thing. She widened her eyes and looked at him. He must have done this on purpose.
"Say that you love me," his tone was gentle, but there was also a hint of insistence. He rested his hands on her shoulders, and his sharp gaze was as deep as the sea. He stared at her for a moment. "Gentlemen first!" Hermione shouted, "In this case, it's not suitable for a lady to speak first. Heinz, as a man you should say it out loud. We want to hear you express your love to Grace."
"Yes, Heinz, although I also sympathize with you, I agree with Hermione more. Grace will be embarrassed if she has to say it first," Alice said.
Grace also stared at him. She was not afraid but felt a little embarrassed to suggest that he should go first.
However, he was unfazed by the commotion.
He turned his eyes slightly to glance at Hermione and Alice, hinting at them to calm down.
Then, he turned to look at Grace and smiled.
"Dear, tell me you love me," he coaxed her again.
She widened her eyes and stared at him. Everyone was already asking him to say it first but he was still insisting that she go first.
Her lips parted subconsciously. Her lips were as beautiful as roses. She had something to say, but held back beneath his gaze.
She raised her eyebrows slightly as a crafty look flitted across her eyes. She looked at Heinz and said loudly, "Heinz, you love me."
In an instant, he was puzzled.
Everyone burst into laughter.
The children were also shrieking, "Oh Mommy, you are too smart!"
Heinz felt very helpless. He was at a loss for words as he stared at the woman in front of him.
She was really smart.
He seemed very happy. He had a smile on his face and there was nothing he could do about it.
He had wanted to tease her but did not expect that she would beat him to it.
She was a smart woman indeed.
She also seemed to be amused by her own words. She raised her chin slightly and stared at him with a bright smile in her eyes, looking very spirited.
As if she was telling him, "See? This is the consequence of insisting on me saying it first. Now that I have said it, it's your turn."
Heinz's gaze turned hot. He fixed his gaze on her face and she saw a trace of excitement in his eyes. Waves of mischief and happiness were swimming in his gaze.
After quite some time, he clasped his hands tightly together and said word by word, "That's right, Grace. I love you. I love you very much and I belong to you forever. We shall hold our hands together and walk through this life together. We shall watch our children grow up together and grow old together. For better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love, cherish, and to obey, till death do us part. I will forever be by your side."
She was speechless. She was so touched by his words and she felt that her heart had melted.
Tears welled up in her eyes. She looked at him, nodded gently, and said, "Heinz, I love you too. I will never let you down in this life."
Of course, she loved him deeply.
No one could replace him in her heart for the rest of her life.
He was the only one who could make her feel this way.
His eyes were filled with emotions. He hugged her and kissed her affectionately again.
Everyone applauded.
When they stared at each other, his eyes had tears welling up in them. He lowered his head and stared at her. He was deeply moved. Grace smiled and her eyes formed a rather adorable crescent moon shape. She had the most beautiful eyes he had ever seen.
He was satisfied. Heinz sighed softly and said, "Finally, I get to hear this sentence. Now, I can die in peace."
Upon hearing this, she narrowed her eyes and her lips parted as she stared at him angrily, "Don't say such nonsense."
Especially on their wedding day. How could he talk about death?
He smirked and held her in his arms. He replied, "Alright, then I will not say such unpleasant things. Today is a wonderful day. I should say more positive things like 'thank you' and 'I love you'." She also smirked.
"Right, then let's not forget that our bride is pregnant and needs to rest. Let the wedding dinner begin. Do have a good time everyone. You all can leave once everyone has had their meals. Let's give them a final blessing and we shall dine!"
"Yes, let's start dining!" The crowd proposed a toast and the wedding dinner began.
Zachary put down the microphone and got down from the podium. He looked at Grace and Heinz and said, "It's not easy for you guys to get here. Cherish what you have and I am certain that you will have a happy life."
"Zachary, have you heard from Maria's mother?" Grace was still worried. Staring at him, she had a worried look on her face.
He shook his head and said, "Nope. The woman seemed to have disappeared into thin air. I don't know where she went."
"I always have a hunch that she will return. No one can bear parting ways with their children. She is going to return sooner or later," Zachary said. Looking at him, Grace said seriously, "Zachary, you will also be able to get what you want."
He smiled and said, "Thank you, Grace. I hope your words will come true."
