She knew Stefan's name was too special to Renee. If she mentioned Stefan, Renee might break down. Hence, she could never mention Stefan.

"No, you're wrong!" Mateo finally couldn't take it anymore and said loudly, "I'm sure Ms. Everheart can't bear to part with her most beloved at a time like this. Plus, she wants to meet her most beloved the most. I'm sure that's Stefan Hunt, the president of Hunt Enterprise."

"Why? Did I say anything wrong?" Mateo looked at Renee innocently. He fearlessly sought Renee's confirmation. "If my information is right, the person you love the most is Stefan. I'm sure you want to see the person you love the most when you're about to die. There's nothing wrong with this logic."
