"Yeah. Enoah is beautiful and has a beautiful personality. If you plan on snatching her boyfriend, it might be a little difficult." Cece analyzed the situation for her. Suzy rolled her eyes at her. "What on earth is inside that head of yours?" Cece smiled innocently. "You, of course!" Suzy walked forward calmly. "Well, I'm not interested in you." "Then who are you interested in? Sol Jones?" Cece chased after her while teasing, "If you truly have feelings for him, I can probe around for you on what kind of person Sol is." Suzy initially wanted to reject her, but there was a sudden flash in her eyes. She nodded in agreement instead. "Sure."

Cece asked in astonishment, "Do you truly like him?"

Suzy smiled at her lightly. "I'll tell you once you've gotten more information." Cece raised her eyebrows, somewhat angry at Suzy for keeping her on tenterhooks. That night

When George returned to Royal Court, it was already 11 o'clock at night. He thought that Suzy had already fallen asleep, but when he opened the door, he saw that the TV was still on in the living room.

As he approached Suzy, it just so happened that a person with half a head missing had popped out from under the main female character's bed. The other eye was staring right into the TV screen.

George, "..." He walked behind Suzy and asked lightly, "What are you watching?" Suzy abruptly turned around, and there was a bit of strawberry jam on the corner of her mouth. She looked straight at him and asked after a slight pause, "When did you come back?" George, "..."

He raised his hand and pinched the area in the middle of his eyebrows. He said in a low voice," I'll be taking a shower first."

"Okay!" Suzy responded and continued to be immersed in the movie.

When it was the second half of the movie, George came out of the master bedroom. He walked unhurriedly to Suzy's side and sat down. He leaned on the couch while watching the movie with Suzy Suzy took a slight break to glance at the man. She saw him leaning lazily against the back of the chair with a few wet strands of black hair scattered on his forehead. His pair of eyes were Jer black, concealing all sharpness and emotions. Only the light from the TV was reflected in Duis eyes, continuously flickering.

George was wearing a bathrobe, and his legs were apart. She could vaguely see the outline of his abdominal muscles by looking up... Suzy abruptly looked away. The main female character in the movie started screaming, making George frown as he turned to look at Suzy. That was when he saw that the strawberry jam on the corner of her lips was still there. He showed an inexplicable smile as he leaned closer toward Suzy. Then, George raised his hand to wipe it off her. His voice was as magnetic as always as he said, "Do you like ice cream that much?" He had seen a lot of it in the refrigerator.

Suzy smelled the faint alcohol smell coming from the man's body. She swallowed the ice cream in her mouth and said slowly, "When I was a child, my mother only bought ice cream for my little brother. He would deliberately gobble it down in front of me. He'd eat it one small bite at a time, and then tell me how delicious it was."

Back then, she could not help but start drooling. Her adoptive mother would kick her off the stool and reprimand her for being immature. Suzy smiled lightly. "At the time, I said to myself that I'd have plenty of ice cream in the future." It was George's first time hearing her mention her family. He frowned slightly, "Where are your parents now?"

Suzy said with zero expression on her face, "They died in a car accident when I was four years old. Then, my brother and I were sent to the orphanage."

George asked, "Didn't you say you still have a grandfather?" "Mm-hmm." Suzy nodded. "I spent a year in the orphanage and was adopted by my grandfather. He brought me home." George did not expect Suzy to have had such a difficult childhood. He was speechless for a while. He raised his hand to touch her head and smiled lightly while saying, "Then you should get more. If it's not enough, I'll buy more for you." Suzy raised her head, and her eyes were calm. "I don't have any trauma from my childhood. I don't merely like sweet stuff because I was abused as a child. I simply just like it." George looked at her with deep and unfathomable eyes. After a while, he parted his thin lips and asked, "What does the ice cream taste like?"

Suzy handed him the ice cream in her hands, of which half still remained. "Would you like some?"

George reached out and took the ice cream, but he placed it aside. He turned back to stroke her face, lowered his head, and kissed her lips. He licked the strawberry jam to taste it.
