"So that's what happened. I've said that someone like you who's so dense and straightforward won't go chasing after girls yourself. Instead, the girls will come chasing after you. You haven't known Daniella for long, and logically speaking, I think that your relationship wouldn't have progressed so fast. I didn't think that that would happen!"

Selena took in Fane's demeanor and spoke in a solemn tone instead, "If that's the case, you have to take responsibility for bullying a fine young lady like that while you were drunk. If you don't take responsibility, I'll be embarrassed by you!"

"Don't worry, dear. I've had a good impression of her since the beginning, and she's a fine woman. Since this has happened, I'll definitely treat her well!"

Fane tightened his grip on Selena, then he ducked his head and kissed her.

After they kissed for a while, a passion sparked within Fane.

However, Selena quickly clamped down on his hand. "No. It's broad daylight. You should rest!"

"You said so yourself. Don't simply pin the blame on me later!"

Fane smiled, then planted another longing kiss on Selena's face.

In the afternoon, Ethan, William, and the others had also arrived. During this period, they all cultivated their strength at the Woods family estate, and many of them broke into another level. Especially William, Yoseph, Adam, Riley,

and Sam, who had broken into the peak stage of the semi-god realm, only one level away from the beginning stage of the true god realm. Meanwhile, Ethan, Lana, and Abner had broken into the advanced stage of the semigod realm. All of them had improved tremendously.

After they found out that Fane had returned, they were all overjoyed. At night, they all drank aplenty while they were celebrating.

After the night's celebrations were over, Fane and Selena went to bed after they were done bathing.

Meanwhile, in another room, Helena spoke to Daniella, unable to contain herself any longer, "Daniella, aren't you being too much? The Bone Marrow Cleansing Water is a true treasure to the Cabello family, and more importantly, we don't even get much of it throughout an entire year. And you're actually going to steal it and give it to them?"

"You cannot tell Father about this, Big Sis," Daniella replied, grinning. "After all, Fane has been so nice to me. Besides, his mother and parents-in-law can't cultivate themselves because they've long passed the prime age to begin training. Only our treasure can help them, so we should help them!"

Helena shook her head hopelessly. "Fine. You would have gone ahead and stolen it even if I refused to help," she said. "And you've promised them already. What choice do I have?"

Daniella immediately tugged on Helena's hand, simpering. "You're the best sister ever, Big Sis!"

Right there and then, Daniella suddenly thought of something and added, "Oh, right. Now that the two young masters of the Hunt family are dead, and so are the three young masters of the Norman family, Big Sis. Heh. This is great! Those fellows had been the ones to pester you the most.

Especially Second Young Master Hunt, who was the worst of them all. Now they're all dead and you don't have to worry about them bothering you anymore!"

"That's right!"

Gratefulness flashed across Helena's expression. "Thank god for Fane. I didn't think that he would be able to get rid of all those b*stards during the competition!"

Daniella pursed her lips. Her big, beautiful eyes darted to the side once. "Sis, so you're not afraid anymore, right? Since Second Young Master Hunt is dead," she said to Helena. "Then when will you end the fake relationship with Fane? When are you going to break up with him? Then everybody will know that you've broken up, and you won't need to be afraid of Second Young Master Hunt pestering you anymore right?"

Helena eyed Daniella for a while, poking her skull with a forefinger. The former rolled her eyes. "What's the rush? We've only just started being a fake couple. It'll be embarrassing if we were to announce that we've broken up now. Second Young Master Hunt may be dead, but if Master Hunt finds out that Fane and I had separated so soon, he'd definitely suspect that we were fooling his son. He might hate us even more then!"

Helena then paused for a while before continuing, "I think we should wait it out for a while more, at least until everybody has forgotten about it. Then we'll make the announcement!"
