"Seventy percent!"

Fane and Helena exchanged glances, their gaze suddenly turned grave.

"What's wrong? Scared?"

Cloud laughed, expression pleased. "It's no use being scared now. I won't let you go even if you beg me on your knees. I will avenge my brother today!" After he said that, he clenched his fists and gathered his Chi again. The resonance of the Chi was stronger than before.

"Blade Wave!"

Fane did not dare to let his guard down, so he used his second-grade premium martial skill.

Suddenly, Chi and sword auras mingled and merged, forming wickedly sharp blades of flying swords, flying outward with a fearsome aura. "Falcon Strike!"

Helena also used her strongest attack. As she slashed her sword, her Chi pooled into the form of an eagle, spreading its wings, which were about twenty feet in length. It emitted a terrible screech as it dove forward.

Bang!

Cloud used the two giant dragons again, the dragons looking bigger than the ones from before. They almost appeared far more solid.

One of the dragons collided straight into Helena's attack. Her frightening falcon was easily destroyed, and the remaining energy from the dragon rushed toward her again.

"Sh*t!"

Helena was so frightened that all color leached from her face when she saw the remaining Chi headed for her. She could clearly feel that the remaining energy from the attack this time was two to three times stronger than before. Even generating a Chi shield right now would be of no use. She would die if the attack landed on her.

Meanwhile, Fane's flying swords continued to rain on the other dragon. When one of the swords was shattered, another came to take its place. There were at least a few hundred swords slowly chipping away at the Chi dragon's energy.

Whoosh!

Just as Helena felt that she was about to die, Fane rushed before her, flipping his palm and taking out the tortoiseshell shield.

The shield grew bigger, large enough to cover the two of them behind.

The remaining energy from the Chi dragon landed smack onto the shield.

Bang!

As the explosion rang out, Fane and Helena were thrown backward, flying a few dozen feet before they managed to right themselves. "Are you all right?"

Helena immediately looked at Fane, grateful that Fane was there. Otherwise, even if she did not immediately die, she would succumb to her injuries.

"I'm fine!"

Fane managed a smile at her. He looked at Cloud, delight on his face. "His attack won't hold out for long!"

Helena looked at Fane and then scanned through his arm that held onto the shield. Asides from the area between the base of his thumb and index finger, a large portion of his skin had been shredded. Blood welled at the wounds and dripped onto the ground, yet Fane said that he was fine.

At that moment, gratitude-filled Helena's heart. A strange thought also sparked in her mind, if only he was her boyfriend!

Unfortunately, he was not her boyfriend, but her sister's.

She heaved an internal sigh then cast her attention into the distance.
