Roar!

The other Phantom Wolves flew as well. Their fangs and claws held a promise of death.

"See? There are about three hundred of them, but only fifty or sixty are actually at least at the semi-god realm, to be able to fly. More importantly, they're slower than us!"

Under Fane's control, the sword zipped into the distance. The fifty-odd Phantom Wolves were left behind in the dust.

"So fast! What grade is this spiritual tool?'

When she saw the speed the flying sword was going at, Venus could not help but ask out of curiosity.

"Second Sis, this is an ultimate-grade spiritual tool. Fane's fighting power was substantially increased with this sword. Basically, you're no match for him even if there were ten of you!"

Daniella could not help but lift her chin when she was talking about Fane, pride filling her eyes.

"I'm no match for him?"

Venus was stunned. "You must be exaggerating, Daniella. I'm at the intermediate stage of the true god status. I'm practically invincible!" she said suspiciously. "Even if I alone can't beat him, surely ten of me will be able to."

"You're right!"

Daniella nodded her head after thinking about it. Then she quickly said, "Probably not ten of you. Twenty of you!" Venus was rendered speechless. Her little sister was seriously underestimating her abilities. Soon enough, Fane had already lost the pack of Phantom Wolves that made a group of warriors running for their lives.

After a while, Fane set the flying sword down. Everybody jumped off, and he kept the flying sword.

The man from the Ximenes family, who was at the beginning stage of the true god realm, walked over and took out five black plaques for Fane after thinking about it. "Young Master Woods, thank you for what you did. If not for your help, the rest of the Ximenes family members would have been wiped out even if I survived. Consider this as my token of gratitude!"

"It just so happened to pass my way. I can't take this!"

Fane gave an awkward smile. The Ximenes family had cordial relations with the Woods family, so he had not hesitated to allow them onto the flying sword.

He would not have done the same if it were the Norman family or the Lagorio family.

"Heh. Don't be shy, Young Master Woods. You deserve it. You saved us, and consider it as a debt paid!"

The man chuckled and shoved the plaques into Fane's hands. "If it were another family, they would probably just take everything from us if they decided that we're no match for them!" "Hah. Don't remind me of that. Maybe I'll do the same to you!"

Fane spoke in a joking manner and laughed.

"Oh, right. My name is Tristan. Tristan Ximenes. I'm not the strongest fighter out there, but I'm the grandson of the First Elder of the Ximenes family. I'm truly thankful to you. I hope we'll meet again!"

Tristan grinned and left with the Ximenes family members after he said that.

"It was worth getting to know Tristan!"

A smile lit up Fane's face as he watched them disappearing into the distance.

"He just gave you a few plaques. Seriously!"

Venus rolled her eyes at him and took out five plaques as well. She thrust it toward Fane. "Take it. Our families don't have good relations. I don't want to owe you anything!"
