The Second Act Revenge (Oneida and Jackson) -
The Second Act 262
Chapter 262
Jonas looked a little expectant as if he wanted to see how Oneida was gonna handle it.
"Sure," Oneida pursed her lips and agreed casually.
In fact, even if those people didn't mention it, she still planned to do it alone.
After all, others might have to climb the mountain, but she only needed to get changed.
So easy.
Oneida could only do it by herself.
Because she was the doctor.
"I will get the doctor here. I'll move her with my sincerity." Oneida raised her eyebrows and glared at Claude and the others arrogantly with a meaningful smile.
"Bullshit!" Claude glanced at her disdainfully. He didn't believe her at all. "Have you ever been to Mount Esterwilde? It's really high and steep. It's even difficult for professional mountaineers to climb. Are you sure you can climb to the top of it? "You might give up at the foot of the mountain!"
Hearing that, Bella couldn't help smiling slightly as if she was gloating.
Oneida didn't take that seriously. She smiled confidently like a queen. Then she said to Claude and Bella arrogantly and indifferently, "Just wait and see, then."
After saying that, she turned around and was about to leave the room.
Suddenly, someone grabbed her wrist.
Oneida paused.
She turned her head subconsciously. It turned out to be Jackson who held her wrist.
Jackson raised his eyes slightly and stared at her. "Don't go."
His tone was firm as if he were commanding her.
"Jackson..." Oneida widened her eyes slightly. She didn't expect that Jackson would not allow her to do it.
Jackson's fingers were cold but strong. He held her wrist tightly and said in a domineering but gentle voice, "It's not as easy as you think. Let's just send a servant to do it."
Jackson didn't want Oneida to take risks.
Oneida was stunned and just stared at him.
She pursed her lips and showed a complicated look.
She had to do it, unless she directly told everyone that she was Rosie.
She thought, 'No way. That'll scare everyone.
"Jackson, let me do it. It's fine," Oneida softened her voice and said with a trace of pleading.

But Jackson still held her wrist tightly and refused to let go of her. He said stubbornly, "I'll send a servant to do it."
Hearing this, Oneida felt a little anxious.

"Jackson, trust me. I'll definitely do it faster than any servant. I can get the doctor here in the shortest time," Oneida replied seriously. "Besides, time is running out. Ruth doesn't have much time left. I'll be right back, okay?" Jackson stared at the girl in front of him. He could see determination, sincerity, and urgency in her eyes.
Then he couldn't help loosening his hand.
He slowly let go of her wrist as if he were reluctant to do so.
Oneida knew that Jackson had compromised.
She smiled at him and said, "Jackson, just wait for my good news"
Then she left the room without looking back.
Oneida drove directly to Mount Esterwilde.
Although she didn't have to follow the rules of inviting Dr. Ryan, she still had to pretend to do it.
Besides, when Rosie appeared, "Oneida" must disappear for a while.
She had to find a reasonable "excuse" for her disappearance.
Oneida arrived at the foot of Mount Esterwilde.
This mountain was famous for its height and steepness indeed. It stood straight in front of everyone like a stanchion of the world.
Oneida planned to climb up the mountain alone.
But she could feel that many people were following her in the dark.
There were several groups of people.
Oneida thought for a while and realized.
Jackson might have secretly sent people to protect her, and Claude and Jonas might have also sent people to follow her.
That was why there were so many people following her.
Oneida pursed her lips, looking serious.
She had to get rid of them as soon as possible.
Otherwise, her identity would be exposed.
Oneida's eyes darkened. Then she quickly climbed up the mountain.
However, she soon disappeared into the lush forest.
Oneida disappeared.
People who were following her all lost their target.
They began to search for Oneida anxiously, but there was still no sign of her. 08:22 Mon, Dec 2
Chapter 262
Oneida just disappeared at the foot of the mountain strangely without any sign.
In fact, Oneida had sneaked into a hut in the mountain.
The hut was so hidden that almost no one could find it.
It was in the forest at the foot of the mountain, and Oneida arrived there soon.
She wouldn't really climb up the top of the mountain.
She only needed to pretend to do so.
Now that "Oneida" had disappeared, "Rosie" was about to show up.
Oneida immediately took off her clothes and put on the clothes that belonged to Rosie.
Rosie liked to wear national costumes. She was wearing a navy blue robe with delicate embroidery on it. Her long black hair reached her waist, and her face was covered by a veil, so no one would know what she looked like. Later, Oneida changed her clothes and walked out of the hut leisurely.
Meanwhile, the news of Oneida's disappearance had already been reported to the people at the manor.
Lionel was angry and worried when he heard that.
"How could she suddenly disappear?!" Lionel frowned and shook his head irritably.
Jackson didn't act emotionally after hearing that.
He never showed his emotions.
However, when he heard the news, his fingers clenched at once.
His expression was still indifferent, but emotions were surging in his deep eyes.
Oneida was missing.
Jackson's heart throbbed when he thought of it.
Victor's face also darkened.
He knew Jackson well.
He knew that Jackson must have gone mad in his mind although he looked quite calm.
"Victor," Jackson suddenly looked up at him and said seriously. "You go there in person. "Bring her back."
Jackson's eyes were sharp and his voice was full of pressure.
Victor immediately nodded and replied respectfully, "Yes, sir."
Then he turned around and left the room.
Bella saw that, feeling very uncomfortable. She couldn't help clenching her fists, and her expression became a little ferocious.
She was so jealous about how Jackson was so worried about Oneida.

She turned her head to hold back her emotions. Then she said coldly, "She pretended to be so brave but went missing at the foot of the mountain. How ridiculous. We should have sent a servant to do that."
Hearing that, Claude echoed with a smile, "Exactly. She was even so confident. Tsk, that's all she got. I doubt that she can't even climb the mountain at all. How could she get lost at the foot of the mountain? So funny!" Bella said coldly again, "See? Don't try to be brave if you can't do it. Otherwise, you will only embarrass yourself!"
