I was about to tear her heart out when Gabriel hug me from behind and bite his marked. It makes me weak and I lost my hold to Danna. Michael grab her and take her away as soon as I let her go.

“Slade Angel please stop and come back to me.” Gabriel said while still hugging and k!ssing my neck. His warm body sends a calming sensation to my nerves. “Please.” He whispers into my ears.

The darkness around us disappeared and the moon disappear also. Right there I feel my body slowly weaken.

“I….. I…. C-an-t….” Then I pass out.

I woke up in a white room, thinking where I am. My eyes started to scan the place I’m at. Pack Clinic.

‘What happened Slade?’

‘You fainted because of me. I, m sorry Angel. I over used your body.’ Slade said.

‘It’s okay, I let you control my body. We’re so mad that we forget to control ourselves.’ I answered. This is not her fault only. We both did this to ourself.

Gradually, the memory of almost killing Danna comes back to head.

“Finally, you’re awake now. How’s your feeling?”

I look at the door and saw Gabriel standing there who’s looks is like a mess.

What happened to this guy?

“What happened?”

“You fainted because of too much use of power. Seriously Angel? You and Mark are the same.” Gabriel said.

“What can I say? He’s my Alpha.” I replied.

“Not anymore. I am your mate Angel and Alpha of this pack. I am your Alpha as you are my Luna.” He commented.

“I don’t want to talk about it right now. I want to know what happened to you? You look like a zombie from a movie. I don’t remember you looking like that yesterday. Are you sick?”

“Yesterday? You’ve been out for a whole week Angel. I’m so worried about you that I can’t even sleep or eat. I let your brother handle the pack while I’m here, looking after you.” He said.

One week? The hell happened to me?

I look at Gabriel and I can see how worried and tired he is. I feel warm inside my heart. Now I can see that he is really trying to make things right between us.

“I’m sorry if I made you worried. I didn’t mean to do it. I don’t even know what happened to me.” I explained.

“I want to explain about me and Danna—-”

“I don’t want to hear it.” I cut him. I don’t want to talk about that b!tch.

“Please listen to me first. Danna and I may be shared bed multiple times before but that’s nothing. I don’t have feelings for her. I’m a growing man who have needs. I didn’t mean to hurt you over and over again for my weakness. Since you return, I promise to not do it again. I promise I will not hurt you again. I want to fix things between us. Please, give me another chance.” Gabriel said. He’s really begging this time. I can see that he is almost crying.

He moves closer to me and touch my face. We look in each other eyes.

“Gabriel…. I-It’s so hard for me to believe that you changed.” I said.

“I know. I know. But please give me a chance to prove it to you. Let’s start a new beginning.”

“I’m already giving you a chance Gabriel. I’m already giving it.”

“Thank you! Can you give me this day? I want us to go somewhere, where there’ll be the two of us.” He asked.

“Where are we going?” I asked. I feel excitement inside of me.

‘See? I told you he’s trying.’ Slade said.

‘Yeah, your right. Now get the hell out of my head.’

‘b!tch!’ Slade.

I almost laugh at what she called her. My wolf is really something. She’s like human when she talks.

“In my secret place.” He replied.

“Secret place? Where is that? Are you kidding right now, because if you do i wil—-”

I didn’t finish my sentence. Gabriel pulled and k!ss me. I didn’t expect that and I didn’t expect myself to like it. Before I can respond, he pulled away.

“That’s why it’s called secret. No one knows about it except me.”

“Okay? But first, can you take a nap and shower? You stink.” I said.

“Oh! I’m sorry. I was watching you the whole week. Claw is very anxious and worried about you and Slade. He doesn’t want me to leave your side.” Gabriel explained.

“So, you’re just here because of Claw?”

“OF COURSE NOT!” He exclaimed.

“I see. What time are we leaving?” I asked. I’m trying so hard to control my excitement.

“After lunch. We need to let the doctor see you and I need to sleep at least two hours and take a bath because I don’t want someone complaining that I stinks. Then we eat lunch and leave.”

“Okay. See you then.”

“Okay, I already mind link the doctor to on check you. Wait her here. I will go now. See you later.” He k!sses my forehead before he left.

I was stunned. He used to do that when we were kids. That’s one of many things I like him doing to me before.

I was in that state when the doctor came and check on me. She’s my mother’s friend.

“Luna, how’s your feeling right now?” Amelie asked.

“I am okay now Amelie. How are you? How’s your daughter Kisha and Uncle Antoine?” I asked.

“They are doing fine. Kisha is busy with school and your Uncle Antoine is busy with pack business. He’s the one handling some of our business outside the pack.” Amelie replied.

“He never changed. He’s always a busy man just like you.” I said.

She finished examining me and we’re just chatting now. She scolded me because I left without even telling her. She’s the one who looked after me and Michael. I explained everything to her before she left due to emergency an emergency on another patient.

She told me to avoid snapping the neck of people here. I’m giving her hard time to relocate and heal it. I laugh so hard that I almost forget the time.

sh!t! I need to prepare too. I need to take a bath also. I don’t know what Gabriel is planning but i need to prepare.
