“We know each other from our University.”

Everyone stood up when they saw Rick had come there. Rick heard what his parents were asking Alina so he answered them.

He did not want his parents to reject her, he wanted to prove that he liked this girl and she would be the Luna. Otherwise, his parents took any girl from anywhere and forced him to marry just like they did at the coronation.

Alina was stunned when she heard his answer. ‘University? Did he really know me? I thought he didn’t know me. I thought he only saw me when we met at the airport.’

Rick’s father and the former Alpha Clark frowned at him. “Are you telling us the truth?”

His mother, who was the former Luna, nodded to Rick. “Yes, answer your dad. Did you really know her before?”

Rick went to the couch and sat down. “Why? Why do you both care about it? You two need a Luna and I took her here as my Luna. Now the matter is solved.”

His mother shook her head. “It’s not the end, my son. Who are her parents? What about her pack? She is not from here.”

“So? See if I care.” Rick replied.

“Don’t be too arrogant.” Clark said.

Beta Max came there, he went for some work so he could not join them after leaving Alina here.

But when he came back he saw the father and son were fighting over something.

“What’s wrong?” Beta Max asked.

“Do you know her, Max?” Clark asked.

Alina looked down. She felt insulted.

‘Why are they suddenly behaving like this? They were okay some time ago. So what happened suddenly? Did I do anything wrong?’ Alina thought and felt upset.

Rick noticed her and stood up. He looked at his parents.

“She will be my Luna and that’s final. You said you are happy so what’s wrong now?”

Clark shook his head. “You are not understanding. She is from the Lycan Territory. The Black Moon Pack is under the ruthless Lycan King. Did she break her every pack bonds from there? Otherwise, you need to go there.”

“She doesn’t need to break any pack bonds if I mark her.” Rick replied.

Alina looked up at him. He looked angry. Alina thought that Rick was mad at his father. She felt somehow hopeful about her new life. She could survive here. She could live with him because he did not want her or like her.

“I am not harmful. I just came here because Rick told me to. If you don’t want me to stay here, I can lea-“

Alina was about to say that she could leave but Rick held her hand and said,

“Don’t you dare to leave. You will live here in my pack house. This is my pack house now. And my soon to be Luna will live here. No one can stop you from staying here.”

Alina glanced at her hand which was grabbed by Rick then she glanced up at Rick.

She nodded at him. Because she also knew that there was no other option she had except to listen to him.

“Let’s go with me.” Rick said and took her upstairs.

Rick came to a door in the corner and opened it.

Alina entered the room then Rick also entered. He closed the door behind him.

Alina turned around to him.

“Don’t worry I am not doing anything. Just be careful with my parents. They are like clever foxes. I told them that I found you and I think you are best for being my Luna. So be prepared for that. They don’t have to learn about your past.”

Alina was staring at him. ‘Past? How can they even learn about my past? What if my past would hunt me down?’

Alina shook her head

She did not want to think about this.’No, I have to stop thinking about these things. I have to be careful from now on.’

“Why are you shaking your head? You don’t want to listen to me?” Rick frowned at her.

“No no. I am listening. I will do as you say. You are giving me shade, I will listen to your every word.”

Rick looked at her. He thought this girl was strange. Whenever he met with him, she only humiliated him, but now she had no other choice than to listen to him.

“Stay here. This is your room. From now on you have to live here.”

Alina looked around and nodded to him. “Okay.”

“I will arrange a personal maid for you. And whenever you go somewhere, you have to go with my Gamma.”

“Why?”

“Who knows when the Lycan king will send people after you to attack you? My Gamma will give you protection.”

Alina felt something in her heart when she heard ‘The Lycan King’.

She closed her eyes and sighed. “Okay, I get it.”

Rick nodded and left Alina’s room.

He came down and saw his parents were talking with Beta Max.

Looking at him coming downstairs Beta Max told him,

“Did you show her room to her?”

“Yes, I did.”

“No, what?”

“Manage everything for her.”

“Okay.”

Beta Max understood what Rick meant. He wanted him to prepare everything for Luna’s training session.

Rick looked at his parents. They were not looking happy.

He grimaced at them.

“What’s wrong with you two? Aren’t you happy that your son has chosen his Luna?”

His parents stared at him.

Clark came to him and said,

“You know your mother can see vision right?”

Rick stared at him. “I don’t care.”

Julie strolled to Rick and stopped in front of him.

“I can see many things, my son. I want to warn you.”

Rick frowned at her.

“Warn me about what?”

His mother looked away from him as if she was thinking about something. Then she looked at him and replied,

“YOU CAN’T MAKE HER YOUR LUNA. SHE CAN ONLY BE A QUEEN, HER LIFE IS RUNNING AROUND IN A RED CIRCLE.”
