The Lycan King’s Rejected Queen Chapter 70

“I possessed her mind and she saw what I wanted her to see.

I killed her husband but she only saw you instead of me.”

Alina was speechless. Her own best friend framed her. She wanted to die now. She couldn’t take it. The only person she believed in all of her life framed her after killing someone.

Alina stared at Crystal. “Do you think you can live happily now after framing me?”

“Poor girl! You are so innocent. You don’t deserve Aaron. He needs someone like me. When I said I love him, I didn’t lie to you. I really love him. Can’t you see? I killed his father for him.”

“You are an Evil, Crystal.” Alina wanted to stand up and slap her but her whole body was in full pain.

She did not know if she would die before tomorrow morning.

Crystal came to her and bent down. She pulled Alina’s hair. Alina hissed in pain.

“You are a bitch. You dared to spend time with my future husband. I knew you were in danger but still I didn’t pick up your call that day in the cineplex. At the village fair, I had my phone with me all the time but I lied to everyone that I didn’t have my phone with me. I wanted you to go out of my pack. But you became lucky enough to get back.

You are fortunate that I am not killing you. I have different methods to kill people you know. So be happy that before I could kill you, Aaron gave you the death sentence.”

Crystal let go of her hair and stood up. She went to the door and opened the window.

That guard left the window open so that she could call him to open the door.

When the guard opened the door and Crystal smirked at him.

Alina understood that he was Crystal’s man. She closed her eyes when the door of the dungeon shut.

She rested her head on her knees which were closed to her chest.

She felt numb all over her body and her mind. Her whole life was a lie.

She thought about her parents. She did not dare to think about contacting them. She wanted them to live alive.

Alina knew there was no one in the world who would save her. Her life was over. Her wolf was crying inside her. Her wolf did not want to die.

“Moon Goddess, why did you punish me like this? What did I do wrong? I have always lived like a simple girl. I have not hurt any single creature then why this? Why the punishment of death? I don’t want to die like this. Give me another chance, please. If I did something wrong in my past, I promise I will solve it and make it right. But I don’t even know what I did wrong. Please save my life, Please.”

Alina knew there was no second chance for her. Still a person who would die tomorrow wanted a single chance to save her life.

At night,

Alina opened her eyes. She did not know when she fell asleep while crying. She looked around but she could only see darkness.

She felt shivers run through her whole body. She was shaking in the cold. Pain and cold made a great combination of pain. She felt the cold like a thorn in her wounds.

She was feeling scared. She could not believe tomorrow she would die in front of everyone. She would have to die for a crime that she never committed.

“Help! Someone, please help.” She screamed and stood up slowly. She tried to touch the wall in the darkness so that she could go to the door and asked for help.

“HELP!”

She found the wall and began to walk but she forgot the way to the door. She did not know which side she was sleeping on. The dungeon was so big that she could not find the door.

She cried aloud alone. She knew no one could hear her screams and cries.

Suddenly she heard a sound. Someone was unlocking the door.

Alice was scared. “Who is there?” She asked with a shaken voice.

The door was opened and the light from outside fell on her eyes. She immediately closed her eyes tight.

“W-Who?” She asked again.

A man came to her and grabbed her hand. “We don’t have much time. Wear this. I am waiting for you outside.”

Alina opened her eyes but could not see because of the light. But she understood who the man was.

She wanted to cry and thanked him. But she did not have time as she was told. She nodded.

She changed her bridal gown into a black simple gown and left her gown in the dungeon. She went out with him.

She came outside of the dungeon. She looked at the man who helped her.

“Thanks, Lucas.” She said and tears dripped from her eyes.

Beta Lucas stared at her. He could not believe this woman had killed Aaron’s father. Though all the proof was against her, he wanted to let her free from here. He knew something was there that they could not see. This woman was framed. But again he could not doubt Queen mother Daisy.

“We have only an hour. I have settled everything. Aaron is out of the Palace right now. You need to wear this and come with me.” Beta Lucas said and gave Alina a locket. Alina immediately wore that locket.

“Why is there no guard?” She asked.

“I don’t have time to explain all of this. Let’s go.”

He held her hand and ran to the Palace.

Alina was shocked. “P-Palace? Why are you taking me to the Palace? Will you kill me?”

Beta Lucas shook his head but did not stop running.

“Believe in me and run fast. We don’t have time, Alina please.”

Alina took the last risk of her life. She would die tomorrow anyway. So she tried to trust on Beta Lucas.

They reached the Lycan Manor which they called a pack house.

There were no maids there because two days ago Aaron told every maid to leave the pack house for a few days so that they could not get to know about what happened there.

There were no guards because Beta Lucas managed everything.

Beta Lucas took Alina to the King’s residence.

Now Alina felt betrayed. She believed in Beta Lucas but what did he do? She guessed that King Aaron told him to take her there. She thought Aaron might kill her tonight and would not wait for tomorrow.

When they reached the living lounge. Beta Lucas let go of her hand and went to a door and unlocked it.

That was when Alina’s eyes widened. She remembered that it was a secret door to go out. Only the king, officials and she knew about the door. Of course, the King’s royal guards know about it too. Because they went there from another territory.

“Come fast, Alina.” Beta Lucas shouted from outside.

Alina came out of her thoughts and went out of the door. Beta Lucas closed the door and turned to her.

“Don’t put off this locket before crossing the border. Otherwise, Aaron will smell you. In just a few minutes everyone will find out that you ran away from the dungeon so you need to run fast.”

Alina looked at him in horror. “Wh-What if he will catch me again?”

“Don’t worry. He will never think that you dared to enter his residence and ran away from his secret door. He will tell the guards to find you from the Western side. But you are going from this side. It is Eastern side. You will get help if you go from this side. I am just hoping. So Please go away from this pack and save your life.

Nice to meet you, Alina.”

Alina cried and spoke,

“I-I didn’t kill him, Lucas.”

Lucas did not reply but only nodded his head. “Now go.”

“Thank you, Lucas. I will remember your help. I promise I will be back to prove my innocence. But what about you? Will he try to kill you too?”

“Don’t worry about me. I will manage something. He won’t kill me.”

Alina nodded and turned around. She began to run and did not look back again.

She started to run fast. B***d was coming out of her legs and ankles. She did not wear any shoes so thorns were piercing into her legs.

She cried and tried to run to the border. But the border was far away from her sight.

She was tired and her whole body was full of pain. She looked up at the sky.

There were clouds in the sky trying to hide the moon. But the moon came out of the clouds and shined again.

A few minutes later, Alina got to see the border and another territory. She did not know if she would survive in another territory or not but all she wanted to do was leave this pack forever.

She looked around and saw there was no one at the border. She crossed the border and said,

“King Aaron, you could have believed in me, but you didn’t. You proved that you never had feelings for me.”
