“SHE IS MY MATE.”

Atlas stood up and shouted. “Why are you lying? We all know that you are mateless.”

Aaron looked up at him, “I am not mateless. She was not here that was why I could not find my mate before. Now she is back. I have found her. I can’t let her go now.”

Atlas remembered that Alina was out of the pack for five years. And before that Aaron did not meet her.

Daisy realized that was why Aaron was attracted to Alina from the start because she was his mate.

She looked at Atlas. “We can’t do anything about it now. She is his fated mate. He has to make her his Queen.

Atlas looked at Crystal. He saw Crystal looking down. He went to her and patted her head, “My child.”

Crystal looked up at him and smiled. “It’s okay.” Then she left the living room and went to her room.

Atlas wanted Crystal as his daughter in law. He promised his friend Chloe that he would make her daughter his daughter’s Queen. That was why he was furious when his son told him that Alina was his Queen.

Now he was helpless. He could not do anything about it. Alina was his son’s fated mate.

How could an Omega be his son’s mate who was such a powerful king?

Aaron stood up and said, “Let’s go for breakfast.”

Then he looked at a maid and told her to call Alina for breakfast.

Alina was getting ready. She had no idea about what was happening outside.

She wore a green long simple gown. She combed her hair and looked at herself.

She remembered what Aaron told her last night.

He called her his Queen.

She took a deep breath. She heard a knock on her door.

Alina opened the door and saw a maid there.

“Yes?”

“Miss Brown, The king has called you for breakfast.” The maid replied and left.

Alina felt nervous when she heard Aaron call him.

She was ready so she went out of her room and began to walk to the living room.

She saw no one was there. She walked to the dining room.

When she entered the dining room she saw everyone was sitting there except Crystal.

Alina thought about her. ‘Where is she? Maybe she has gone to meet her Aunt.’

Alina’s eyes met with Aaron’s eyes. Alina immediately looked away and went to sit where she always sat.

But Beta Lucas stopped her.

“Where are you sitting?” He asked.

Alina looked at Beta Lucas. “Sitting on my seat.”

“It is not your seat Alina. You are the Queen so you have to sit beside your King.”

Alina’s eyes widened. She looked at Atlas and Daisy to see their reaction. She did know that they had known about her and Aaron already.

Daisy looked at her, smiled at her and nodded while Atlas looked angry.

Alina averted his gaze and went to the sit where Beta Lucas told her to sit.

It was the totally opposite seat Beta Lucas was sitting in. The seat was right besides Aaron’s seat.

Alina felt Aaron’s gaze and blushed. She still wondered how he took her in the pack house.

‘Did he take me in his arms and come here?’ She thought and shook her head.

“Did you sleep well?”

Alina heard Aaron.

She looked at him and nodded.

“Eat.” He said while looking at her.

Daisy was surprised looking at her son’s behavior. He was showing care to his woman. She smiled and began to eat.

Alina was eating but she paused and looked at Daisy.

“Aunt Daisy, Where is Crystal?”

Daisy did not want to say anything. But Atlas glared at Alina.

“You don’t have to know about her. Live your dreamy life what you always wanted to live.” Atlas said.

Alina looked down at her plate. This man was not happy about her. She knew it. But she was feeling upset for her friend.

She wanted to know where she was. She wanted to tell her everything by herself. Because of Aaron, she could not tell her anything.

After breakfast, Aaron left with his officials while Atlas left the pack house.

Daisy and Alina were sitting on the couch.

“Aunt Daisy.”

“Hmm?”

“Did M-King say something to you all?” Alina asked. She scolded herself for calling Aaron ‘Mate’ in front of Daisy.

Daisy nodded her head. “First, call me Mom.”

Alina was shocked.

“What? You are going to my daughter in law. So you should prepare yourself from now on.”

“O-Okay, Aunt Daisy.”

“Again?”

“I mean M-Mom.”

“Good girl.”

“Mom? What did he say to you?”

“He told us about you and him. You are his mate and you will be his Queen.”

Alina blushed after hearing that. Aaron was not joking with her when he told her she would be his Queen.

“Mom, I want to tell you all about this but he stopped me from telling anyone about us.” Alina explained to her that she was not the one who wanted to hide anything from them.

“It’s okay my child. I like you. You are a good girl. I can understand people well.”

“But I am an Omega. I am afraid people will not look up to me. But I don’t want to let go of my mate either. I have no one except him.”

“Silly girl. You have us now. I am always with you. What about your parents? Will you not tell them about this?”

Alina looked away from Daisy. How could she say to her what her father told her?

“What happened, Alina? Are they okay?” She asked.

Alina shook her head.

“They are busy, Mom. I will tell them soon.”

Daisy nodded. They talked for some time. Alina went back to her room.

She wanted to call her parents again but saw her phone was not in her room.

She realized she fell asleep so did she drop her phone on the lake? She tried to find her phone again if Aaron picked it up and put it somewhere in her room. But no, she could not find it.

She sat on the bed and looked outside the window. She thought about her future.

After two hours she left her room and went to the living room. She wanted to talk with any officials and asked if they could ask Aaron about her phone.

When she entered the living room she saw that Crystal was coming from outside.

“Crystal.” Alina called and ran to her.

Crystal stopped and glanced at Alina.

Today Alina asked Daisy about Crystal and Daisy told her that Crystal knew everything. So now Alina felt nervous in front of Crystal.

“C-Crystal where were you?” Alina asked.

She was prepared to get a slap or hear her scolds.

But for her surprised Crystal smiled at her and replied,

“I came back from my Aunt. I went to meet her.”

“Crystal. I wanted to tell you everything but King Aaron did not let me tell you about anything.” Alina said and a tear rolled down from her eyes.

She loved her best friend but now she felt like a traitor. Her best friend’s crush became her mate.

Alina thought she could not make Crystal understand about their mate bond because she was a Witch and could not know how the mate bond was.

Crystal wiped Alina’s tears. “Don’t cry. You could have told me that he is your mate.”

Alina shook her head. “It’s his fault. He forbade me to tell anyone about us. I even told him on the phone four days ago that I wanted to tell you everything.”

Crystal frowned. “You two even talked to each other on the phone?”

Alina paused. She was so emotional that she babbled what came into her mind. But she did not want to hide anything from her now.

“Yes, He called me two times this week.”

Crystal was silent. Alina could not understand what she was thinking.

“Crystal, are you angry with me? If you are mad then you can slap as much as you want.” Alina gave Crystal her cheek to slap her.

Crystal chuckled at her. “Dumbo. Why are you so childish at this age?”

When Alina saw Crystal chuckling, Alina smiled at her. “You are not angry with me?”

Crystal shook her head. “How could I? It’s your fate that you are his mate. It is not like I can change his fate. So I can’t be mad at you.”

Alina felt so relaxed. She was thinking about Crystal all the time. She knew Crystal was upset but she did not break friendship with her, it was the biggest matter for her.

Alina hugged Crystal and said,

“You are the one who always supported me in my life, Crystal. I love you so much. You never let me feel alone. You were always with me.

And now you are with me here too. In this situation I don’t know how I can explain my fate to you. If he was not my mate, I would not even look at him. But he is my mate. I can not live without him. However, you are supporting me in this situation too. You are really my best friend, Crystal.”

Crystal patted her head and replied,

“I am your best friend indeed.”
