“Y-You are here?”

Alina looked at Aaron. Aaron was the one who pulled her. Alina could not believe he was there with her.

Aaron stared at her. He came back to the pack a few hours ago. When he saw there was no one in the pack house, he realized today was the village fair. He called Alina and asked her where she was.

He called her twice this week. He wanted to talk with her. Even though he was busy in the meeting, he called her at night to know If she was okay. Otherwise, his guards and pack fighters were there too. They informed him everything from time to time.

When he came to the village fair his friends suggested finding the guards who came with everyone. They called the guards and the guards informed them where they were. But they told them that Alina was missing.

Aaron’s heart skipped when he heard that. Then he told his friends to search for her in different ways and if anyone found her then inform her first.

He searched for her but could not find her.

Delta Darren called him and told him that he had found her.

Aaron came there. He wanted to call Alina when he heard that she got lost. But he wanted to surprise her. He knew the village fair was safe. People would not do anything because everyone was here to celebrate. People were helpful here.

Alina was still thinking that she was dreaming.

“Am I dreaming?” Alina said and raised her hand. She touched Aaron’s face and pinched it softly.

She gasped and immediately stood straight.

Aaron was amazed by her reaction. For this reaction, he did not call her. He wanted to see how she would react about him coming here.

“You were in the war. How did you come here so fast?” Alina asked with wide eyes.

“People will see you. Let’s hide.”

Alina paused and turned to him. He was right. She remembered what the women said. They did not know his face, they recognized him by his Royal clothes.

Alina looked at his clothes. He wore just a simple black robe. He looked like other villagers. But he was too handsome to think he was a normal man.

Aaron also looked at her clothes. He looked at her from head to toe.

She looked very simple yet so beautiful. Aaron felt this woman was only his.

“You are right.” Alina said and looked at his body then asked,

“Are you okay?”

“Didn’t I promise you that I will come back safe?”

“When did you come back to the pack?”

“Before calling you.”

“I can’t believe you came here, Mate.” Alina said and smiled showing her teeth.

Aaron chuckled at her. Alina looked at his face.

She heard the sound of his chuckling in the phone call. She wanted to see him smile. Now she could see that. She was feeling bliss.

“Did you buy anything?” Aaron asked.

“No, I didn’t. Actually I lost everyone.”

“How?”

“You called me and I could not hear you because of the crowd. So I tried to go somewhere less crowded but after talking with you I could not locate them again.”

“You could have called them.” Aaron said and began to stroll.

“I have tried Mate. I have tried. But Crystal did not receive the call. Maybe it was because of the crowd she could not hear.”

Aaron nodded and did not talk about these.

“Do you want to eat something?”

“We had our dinner before coming here.” Alina replied.

“But I haven’t yet.”

Alina looked at him. “I am hungry. I am feeling hungry again.”

Aaron shook his head. This woman was cute. She said she came after having dinner but when she heard he did not have dinner she now started to pretend hungry.

“Okay, Let’s go to a food stall.”

Alina nodded at him.

They entered a food stall and sat on a table with chairs.

Alina blushed when she saw there were many couples there sitting beside them. Some of them were very lovey dovey.

Aaron ordered a few dishes.

“I heard you came here before.” Alina broke the silence between them and asked.

“Hmm. I came here many times.”

“What? But the villagers said you have not come here since your coronation.” Alina whispered so that no one could hear them.

“That’s what they think. They don’t know that I come to see my people every year.”

Alina’s jaw dropped. “You mean you came here in disguise?”

Aaron smirked and nodded.

“You are so clever, Mate.”

Aaron saw how talkative Alina was. From the first day he only saw her crying. He thought she was a cry baby.

But today he did not know that she was a very cheerful woman.

“You are looking good.” Aaron told her.

Alina blushed and looked down. “Thank you.”

Alina felt shy. For the first time she got any compliment from him.

The food served and Alina felt those dishes looked delicious.

She ate and m****d. “Ummm. So tasty.”

Aaron looked at her. She was eating like a kid as if she was now free here. She talked while eating then again started to chew. She looked happy, very happy.

After eating, Aaron paid the bill and he got out of the stall with Alina.

This time he held her hand.

Alina saw he joined his hand with her hand. She could feel warmth in her palm.

She smiled at him and wandered beside him.

Aaron looked at her and observed her everytime she smiled and glanced at their hands.

Alina saw Aaron staring at her.

Aaron asked her,

“Are you happy, My Queen?”
