“DID THEY TOUCH YOU?”

Alina looked up at him and sobbed. Tears rolled down her cheeks.

Aaron tightened his fists. The fire was burning inside his heart. He wanted to destroy everything. He wanted to cut each of the hands that touched her.

Aaron went a step forward but Alina immediately stepped backward.

Alina averted her gaze from him. Aaron did not stop, he went close to her.

When Alina tried again to step backward, Aaron stopped her by grabbing her arms.

“Don’t. I won’t hurt you.” Aaron said and went closer to her.

He pulled her head to his chest and hugged her.

Alina cried in his chest, just like she did today in the car.

Aaron was letting her lean on him.

Aaron hugged her tight. He could hear her muffle sounds of crying.

He caressed her hair. “It will not happen again. Don’t worry, relax.”

The garden was looking more beautiful with the moon in the sky and under the moon the shining roses with their owner hugging his mate.

After calming down, Alina opened her eyes and smelled him.

Then she moved a little. Aaron let go of her and looked at her.

“Are you okay now?” He asked with a worried tone.

Alina nodded at him.

“Did they hurt you?” Aaron asked angrily.

Alina looked down while thinking if she should tell him everything or not.

Then she sighed and told him everything.

She told him how she wanted to go out but those boys did not let her go out and came inside, how they closed the door and stopped her going anywhere.

They told her dirty things and tried to touch her, they grabbed her waist and tried to touch her but she slapped one of the boys hard. He pushed her and she fell on the wall.

It reminded him of the wound on her neck.

She told him how she tried to open the door but one of them grasped her so she bit his hand with all of her strength.

Aaron remembered when he saw the footage, a boy was running and b***d was coming from his hand.

Ava did not lie to him about anything. She was pure in her heart. She did not want to hide anything from her mate.

She looked up at Aaron slowly and saw his fierce face.

Aaron stared at her. This woman was very unfamiliar. But still he was feeling like this. He felt the pain she felt at that time, the fear in her eyes could be seen by him.

“I will punish them in front of you. Just wait for my order.”

Alina’s eyes widened. She almost forgot that her mate was the King and he could find anyone of his kingdom.

Alina did not refuse it. She wanted to punish them too.

Alina’s silence was a clear answer to Aaron that she wanted it.

He patted her head. “You are safe now. So don’t think about it again.”

Alina nodded.

“Let’s walk.” Aaron said and started to walk.

Alina looked at the man in front of her. He was walking like a king, he was the king indeed. His hands rested on his back and he walked slowly.

Alina followed him. They sat on a bench and watched the beautiful scenery of the rose garden.

“Why did you call me here?” Alina asked.

Aaron turned his head to her. Moonlight fell on her face and she was glowing. She was a beauty, a pure beauty in Aaron’s eyes. He had never thought about anyone like that before.

He remembered what Lucas told him today. Did he really fall for her?

“My king? Are you listening?” Alina asked and looked at him.

“Didn’t you call me ‘Mate’ a few minutes ago?”

Alina was stunned by his question.

Will he want me to call him ‘Mate’ so that he can humiliate me again? I don’t believe him. Though he saved my life, he can play any kind of tricks on me. I have to be careful. No, Alina. You can not fall for him blindly. He will break your heart again. He never told you that he will accept you, so don’t raise your hopes up.’ Alina told herself.

She did not reply to him.

Aaron was feeling embarrassed after saying that. He did not know why he was behaving like this. Did this woman do something on him? He was the Lycan king, any kind of magic would not affect him. Then was it just the mate bond that he could not resist her?

He looked at her. She was looking at the flowers and thinking about something.

Her hair was blowing in the wind. She was looking at the most beautiful lady in his eyes.

He was observing her then his eyes fell on her neck.

He could see the wound still not dried yet.

He felt an urge to do something for her.

She was an Omega and her healing power was not strong like others. It would take time to get her wound better.

Alina was enjoying the nature when she heard him calling her name.

“Alina.”

Alina felt her heart beating fast. She turned her head to him. He did not call her by her name after that night. Hearing her name from his mouth was blissful to her.

She saw he looked at her neck then turned his eyes to hers.
