When Beta Lucas left his office, Aaron raised his eyebrows. “How is it possible? I only met her a few weeks ago. How can I fall for an Omega?”

“But how can she be my mate? I have to think about all of these again.”

Alina was sleeping in her room. Suddenly a knock on her door broke her sleep. She woke up and got down from her bed.

She opened the door and saw Crystal standing outside of her room.

“Are you okay, Alina?” Crystal asked her. Crystal’s face was looking worried.

Alina nodded at her. “Yes, I am okay. When did you come back?”

“I came back four hours ago. Aunt Daisy told me you are not feeling well and let you rest for some time. So I did not disturb you. But it took so many hours. It’s dark now. I was worried about whether you were okay or not.”

“I am okay now. Don’t worry.” Alina said and smiled at Crystal. She thought Aaron did not tell anyone about today’s incident to anyone. So Alina should not tell anyone about that too.

She did not tell Crystal anything. She only said that she was not feeling good and after sleeping she was feeling okay now.

“Tell me, did you enjoy the movie?” Alina asked and tried to change the topic.

“Yes.”

“How was it?”

“It was good. The male lead and female lead got together and it was a happy ending.”

Hearing that Alina felt happy. She liked happy endings which in her life were not possible yet.

Crystal saw Alina was still in the clothes she wore today. “You still didn’t change your clothes?”

“No, I was sleepy so I slept after coming back.”

“Okay, change your clothes and come to the dining room okay?”

“It’s time for dinner?”

“It’s almost time for dinner. So take your time and come.”

Alina nodded and Crystal left her room.

Alina closed her door and looked outside from the window. It was dark outside.

She slept for so many hours. She was traumatized by what had happened today.

She still felt those dirty hands that touched her body.

She shook her head and went to the bathroom.

She took a shower. When she was having the shower she felt a severe pain in her neck.

She touched her neck and felt more pain. She almost forgot about the wound on her neck.

After the shower, she wore a black simple dress. She dabbed the towel slowly on her neck to dry the wound. B***d was not coming out from there but it was not healed yet.

She wiped her hair and went to the dining room.

Today all the officials came to the dining room to have dinner.

Alina went and sat beside Crystal.

Daisy looked at her and smiled, “How are you feeling now, Alina?”

Lucas, George, Cooper, and Darren were watching Alina. They came here to see if their soon-to-be Queen was okay or not. When they saw Alina was talking and looking fine they felt relaxed.

Atlas frowned at Alina. He did not like this girl. He disliked her first because of a reason. But he disliked her more because of his wife. His wife argued with him today. His sweet wife, who had never talked back to him, showed her anger toward him today. He thought Alina surely did something to his wife otherwise, why did Daisy always support her? She even said Alina was better than Crystal as the Queen. How impossible!

Alina felt a dark gaze on her. She looked up and saw Atlas was glaring at him. She immediately looked away. ‘Why is this man making me feel uncomfortable all the time? He always gives me the cold shoulder. Now he is glaring at me? What had I done to him? I don’t even talk with him in fear.’

Beta Lucas saw how uneasy Alina was under Atlas’s glare. He cleared his throat and said,

“Mr. Robertson, please focus on your food rather than other things. Otherwise, your food will be cold.”

She slept for so many hours. She was traumatized by what had happened today.

Atlas wanted to scold him but he glanced at the empty chair which was his son’s and remembered what Aaron told him. So he controlled himself and did not say anything to Lucas.

After dinner, Alina said goodbye to Crystal and left the dining room.

All the officials wanted to talk with Alina but they thought she should get more rest and they could talk with her tomorrow morning. So they did not stop her.

Alina came to her room and sat on the bed. She tried to call her parents. They still had not picked up her calls.

“How strange! You are my parents but you don’t have any care for me.” She smiled sadly while looking at her phone.

She then thought about how Aaron saved her today. If he would not come and save her today, Alina did not know what would happen to her now. Maybe she would be destroyed by those dirty boys and already died.

She did not blame Crystal for not receiving her calls and did not ask her. She knew Crystal also had a life without her. It was her fault that she was an Omega and could not protect herself.

Alina was thinking about those for hours. Suddenly, she heard a low knock on her door.

She thought it was Crystal who was knocking on the door.

She opened the door and saw Shaline.

“Shaline?”

“Miss Brown, how are you?” Shaline asked . A smile was on her lips while talking with her.

“I am fine. What about you?” Alina asked.

“I am also fine. “

“Has something happened, Shaline?” Alina asked. Because she now knew that she was the royal maid of the king and his chief maid too. So if she came here, she had something to say for sure.

“Miss Brown, The king has called you to go to his garden. Please come with me.” Shaline said.

Alina was shocked.

“A-Again?”
