“It was not his fault. Don’t be angry with him, Please Mate.”

Aaron glanced at Alina. She kept calling him ‘Mate’ again. He somehow liked that.

On the other side, when Theta Cooper heard Alina’s voice, he felt relaxed.

He came to the washroom and waited for her outside for five minutes. When he saw that no one was coming outside, he shouted her name. When he saw no one was replying, he went inside the washroom but found no one there.

He came out of the washroom and tried to find her but did not see her anywhere.

At that moment, Aaron called him. He was very nervous that he did not receive it at first. But then he got the courage and picked up Aaron’s call.

Now he heard Alina’s voice, he was relaxed now.

“Is Alina with you?” Theta Cooper asked Aaron.

“I asked you where you are?”

“I-I am still in the Cineplex.”

“What are you doing there alone? Didn’t you go with them to give them protection? Then why is she not with you?”

Alina grabbed his shirt and shook her head.

Aaron did not look away from her face after receiving the call. He was looking at her and talking with Cooper.

Alina pleaded to him with her eyes. “Please. I told him and Crystal to continue to watch the movie. The washroom was right beside the hall so I went there alone. it was not their fault.”

Aaron looked away from her face. ‘Why is she behaving cute suddenly?’ He thought.

“Okay, watch the movie with Crystal and come back after that.” Aaron said to Cooper.

“Aaron, is she okay? How did you find her?”

“We will talk about it in the pack house.” Aaron replied and cut the call.

Alina was quiet. She was traumatized for some minutes and slept in his chest some time ago. But now she was in her sane mind. She could not believe that she was in King Aaron’s arms. The man was her mate, her hope but at the same time, she knew it was a short-lived happiness. This man would not accept her because he did not like her. This man was not soft all the time like this. Maybe he sympathized with her because of her incident. Otherwise, why would he behave with her like this?

Some time later, they reached the pack house. Alina did not think more and opened the car door. She got down from the car and ran to the pack house.

Aaron narrowed his eyes. ‘What is wrong with her? One time, she had a problem dancing with me another time she cried alone for me. One time, she slept on my chest, another time she ran away from me. This woman is making me confused.’

“My king, we are here.” The driver said when he saw Aaron was still sitting in his seat while looking at the front gate of the pack house.

Alina entered the pack house. She did not wait for King Aaron. She did not want to embarrass him here. Maybe he would feel ashamed if anyone would see them together. That was why he told her that she could not talk about their mate bond to anyone else.

Daisy was talking with the chef in the kitchen. But her eyes fell on the front gate of the pack house. She saw someone was coming.

She looked carefully and saw it was Alina and her hair was messed up.

She frowned and came out of the kitchen and went to the living room.

“What happened to you Alina?” She asked worriedly while going near her.

Alina stopped her steps and looked at Daisy in horror. She did not want anyone to look at her in her this condition.

“N-Nothing, Aunt.” She tried to lie.

“Don’t try to lie to me. I was a Queen before, so I know who is trying to lie to me. What happened to you, child? Just tell me.” Daisy convinced her to tell the truth.

“I-I..” Alina was trying to say something when Daisy saw Aaron enter the pack house.

She looked at Aaron suspiciously.

“Aaron, come here.”

Alina closed her eyes tight. She ran away from him without thanking him, now she was feeling embarrassed in front of him.

Some time later, they reached the pack house. Alina did not think more and opened the car door. She got down from the car and ran to the pack house.

Aaron heard his mom calling him. He went to his mom and Alina.

He saw Alina was looking down.

“Yes, mom.”

“Did you do something to her? Why is she looking so messy? Did you try to bully her?” Daisy said as the mother scolded her son.

“I did not do anything to her. “

“Alina, Where are Theta Cooper and Crystal? Didn’t they go outside with you? Where are they? How did you come back alone?” Daisy asked her a bunch of questions.

Alina was still looking at the floor as if it was the most interesting sight to see.

Aaron looked at his mother and said, “She came back with me.”

Daisy raised her eyebrows. ‘Came back with him? How?’

Before she could ask anything about them her son said,

“Let her take some rest. She is not feeling well.”

Daisy felt shocked again. Did her son care for Alina? Was the statement that her husband was talking about today was real?

Daisy looked at Alina’s poor condition and nodded.

“Yes, Aaron is right. You should go and rest. We can talk about it later.”

Alina nodded and immediately walked out from there and went to her room.

Daisy stared at Aaron.

Aaron was looking at the way where Alina went just now.

“Do you care for her, Aaron?” Daisy asked her son. She knew her son had never fallen for any girl before. He was living like a beast. A dominant and powerful beast.

She knew Alina was an Omega and not powerful like other she-wolves.

But looking at her son’s reaction to her, she believed this girl could melt this ice king in front of her.

“You didn’t reply, my son.”

Aaron still didn’t avert his gaze from the side where Alina went. Her crying and sobbing face came to his mind. He replied to his mother without thinking anything,

“What If I Say Yes?”
