Alina’s eyes widened.

Everyone was looking at them. They could not hear them but were looking at their king who was talking so closely with a young woman. They were shocked. They had never seen any woman with him before. Every woman in the pack house wanted him but he didn’t give any consideration to them. But today what was happening?

Crystal looked at them and frowned. She did not like it at all. Was her best friend trying to grab her man?

Beta Lucas cleared his throat and said. “Everyone, why did you stop? Don’t make your king angry. Continue your training.”

Everyone continued to do what they were doing.

Alina was numb hearing that. ‘Does this man only know about how to kill others? What is wrong with him? I don’t have any lover. It was only a misunderstanding. But I can’t tell him about my dreams. Those were not dreams but nightmares. How can I explain to him that he came into my dreams to kill me every night?

Aaron moved away from her and looked into her eyes. His dark gaze made Alina weaker from the inside. Her wolf was happy when he came close to her. Her wolf wanted to get close to him, wanted to smell his scent more but Alina was startled by his words.

She looked at him and tried not to react.

He backed away and began to walk to the door. Delta Darren threw a black robe at him. He caught the robe and wore it while walking out of the training hall.

Everyone was bowing to him when he walked out.

Yesterday she saw how ruthless he was and today, she saw how respected he was by his pack members. Everyone was afraid of him at the same time they respected him.

The way everyone shut their mouth in front of him and the way they bowed to him, He was the king indeed.

Alina never saw these types of things before. When she was little she always stayed at home. When she was fifteen, she went abroad. She had never seen how people bowed to one man who was very powerful over everyone.

When Crystal saw Aaron didn’t contact Alina agaon, she also stopped asking about it.

“Alina, I will buy the best dress for the party.” Crystal said happily.

“No, Alina. I will buy the best dress for sure. People will be going to notice me, especially King Aaron.” Crystal said shyly.

Alina smiled at her sadly.

She was not upset because she could not tell her that her mate was her crush. Hearing about your mate from another woman was painful.

But Alina knew that very soon she would be rejected by the king. So after that maybe he would accept Crystal because his father supported Crystal a lot.

“Let’s go to that shop, Alina.” Crystal took Alina’s hand and started to walk.

Crystal bought a gorgeous golden dress for her and Alina bought a Long black gown simply decorated with ash color yarn.

They bought high heels that matched their clothes.

They went to a cafe to have their lunch after shopping. When they sat there they heard two women who were talking to each other. They were sitting behind their table.

“Did you know that the Alpha of the Silver Moon pack is also coming to the party this weekend?”

“Yes. I heard he is a new Alpha. He recently took over his pack’s responsibly.”

“Yeah right. But he is very handsome. I heard he is very famous among girls and women.”

The two girls said and laughed.

Crystal and Alina heard everything.

“What handsome? He can’t be more handsome than my king, huh!” Crystal said.

“Calm down. Being handsome is not a competition, Crystal.” Alina said and chuckled.

Alina shook her head. Crystal was really funny when she talked like that. She was a powerful witch who got the powers of her mother. But she was a good girl who didn’t use her powers for something wrong.

“Don’t worry very soon he will start to like you.” Alina smiled at her.

She wanted to see her best friend happy who always stayed beside her. Who always supported her no matter what.
