“NO one can stop me.

If I want to heal her, I will.”

Alina did not say anything to him. He was the, king, she just got her freedom two days ago.

She did not want to counter back.

She looked at her arm. The stitches were clean and she felt uneasy looking at them. So she averted her gaze from those stitches of her arm.

“I am giving you some medicine. Keep taking them after your meals. Your pain will ease soon.”

Alina nodded and the pack doctor stood up.

Alina also stood up and asked,

“What about my arm? Will you not bandage it?”

The pack doctor shook his head. “King will handle it.”

Alina was stunned. ‘He will handle my arm?

Will he bandage my arm? Why?”

Aaron nodded at the pack doctor. He walked out of the king’s chamber not before bowing to him.

When the door was closed. Alina turned to Aaron.

“My arm-“

“Relax. He thought I would heal you now.”

“But laid-“

“I am not healing you now, so you don’t have to worry.”

Alina nodded and sat on the couch. She sighed but inside her heart, she was hurt that he did not want to heal her. Alina refused to feel like that and shook all the thoughts from her mind.

Aaron sat beside her on the couch. Alina immediately moved a little bit far from him.

Aaron took a fast aid box. That time Alina realized that there was a fast aid box on the coffee table.

Aaron touched her hand and Alina looked at him.

“What are you doing?”

“Bandage your arm.” Aaron said.

“You could have told the pack doctor about it.”

Alina said and tried to move her hand but Aaron tightened his grip.

“Because I want to do it by myself.”

Alina did not dare to move her arm again. She was already feeling pain because of his tight

grip.

Aaron bandaged her arm. He did it very slowly and patiently.

“Done.”

Alina stared at him all the time. She remembered how she bandaged his wounded hand when he killed the boys for her.

Alina looked away when her eyes met his eyes.

She stood up. Aaron frowned. “Where are you going? For breakfast?”

Alina glanced at him. “What do you mean?”

“Where are you going”

“To my room.”

Aaron stood up and came to her. “From today you will live here, with me.”

Alina’s eyes widened. “VW-What do you mean?”

“I said you will stay in my room.”

Alina frowned at him. “Do you forget that I am not your slave anymore?”

Aaron shook his head. His eyes fell on her neck.

The neck lock left traces on her neck. “When did I say you are still my slave?”

Then why would I stay with you?”

Aaron moved close to her face and whispered,

“How could you forget that you are my mate, Darling?”

Alina took a step back. Her right leg got hit by the coffee table and she was about to fall.

Aaron grabbed her wa!st.

She looked at him in horror.

He marked her, how could she forget that!!

She thought she was free but what about this mate bond?

Alina pushed him with her right hand. Aaron moved and did not let her put more pressure on her body.

“What do you want?” She asked.

Aaron was quiet for some moment and replied,

“For now, I don’t want anything. You should take some rest.” Aaron turned around.

“I don’t want to stay in this room.” Alina said.

Aaron did not reply to her. Alina got his answer. His silence was his answer. His words were laws here.

When he left the room, Alina sat on the bed and said, “After my arm heals, I will shift abroad and return to my university. I will never come back again.”

When it was night time, Alina was having dinner with others. Selena her equation were good now. Selena never talked to her about Aaron. She was even okay that Alina was going to live in Aaron’s room. It surprised Alina.

After dinner, Selena talked to Alina in the garden.

“Are you okay now?” Selena asked.

“A little bit.”

“What is your future plan?” Selena asked.

Alina smiled at her. “I want to clarify it for you.

I am not into King Aaron. So don’t worry. I want you to talk to him about the room arrangement. I don’t want to stay in the same room with him.”

Selena looked down and shook her head.

“Can I tell you something?”

Alina’s walking halted. She turned to her.

“Yeah.”

“Do you know that Alpha Rick is my mate?”

Alina nodded her head. She felt upset when she heard about Alpha Rick.

Rick was her good friend. She could say if there was any friend in her life who she could call her best friend that was Alpha Rick.

She could not talk to Alpha Rick since she came to the Lycan kingdom.

Alina wondered how Rick was doing right now.

Was his health okay? What about her parents?

Beta Max? His other officials? Alina trained for three months to become his Luna. They knew her, most of them used to call her ‘Luna’. She felt sad that she had to leave them without any explanation.

“I know.” Alina replied.

Selena raised her head and looked shocked.

“H-He told you?”

Yes.”

“He really likes you. He told you everything. He preferred you to be his mate.” Selena said and looked away from Alina.

Alina raised her brows and shook her head.

She knew Rick told her that he chose her over his mate. However, Alina believed that it was all about their fate.

“Selena.”

Selena looked at Alina. “Yes?”

“Let’s sit down and talk.”

They both sat down on a wall sit and continued their conversation.

Alina was trained for becoming Luna, she knew how to talk and handle any situation. Inside her, she gained the whole royal manners.

“I think it’s all because of fate, Selena.”

“I know.”

“But you just said he chose me over you. That his wrong.”

“No, he told me you are different in his eyes.

He only wanted you.”

Alina shook her hand. “No, listen to me. It was not like that. You were with King Aaron, you came here as a future Queen of this kingdom.

So how did you expect him to do anything from him? If you were single at that time he would surely accept you. However, now everything is different. You are happy to be King Aaron’s Queen. He will find another woman like he wants.”

Selena’s eyes turned glossy when she heard that.

Alina was stunned. A Lycan woman was crying in front of her. She felt uneasy.

She patted Selena’s shoulder. Selena started to cry.

“Don’t cry.” Alina said.

“I don’t know what to do, Alina. I am lost. King Aaron does not like me. He doesn’t even want to see me. He never wanted a Queen. It was always his mother who wanted me as the Queen. She was afraid that Crystal would become the Queen if she did not choose someone. So she went to the Lycan realm and chose a Lycan who could beat the witch.”

Alina was shocked. Aaron did not want to take a Queen? Why? So all the things he did and showed, was just acting? Was he pretending to show her?

“I see.”

Alina sighed and looked at the sky. She heard Selena,

“Alina.”

“Hmm?”

“You didn’t tell me your future plan.”

“I will go back abroad.”

“Why?”

“I don’t want to stay here. I will go back to where I came from. I will settle there.”

Selena nodded and looked away from her.

“Does he know about it?”

“Who?”

“King Aaron.”

“No. I will tell him soon.

Selena smiled at Alina. “Do you know one thing, Alina?”

Alina looked at her. “What?”

“He has never touched me. I tried to look into his eyes. But he never looked at me. He always ignored me. He never tells me that he wants me to become his Queen. He always postponed the Crown Ceremony as if he did not want anyone as his Queen, as if there is someone in his heart that he has already set up as his Queen. He does not want anyone but the Woman in his heart.”

Alina felt her heart skip a beat. She did not want to hear this. She remembered how he spent time with her before the Crown Ceremony, the village fair. He even fought with his father for her. But he never said he loved her. If he did, he would trust her.

“I don’t know what you are talking about, Selena. I don’t know why you are saying this.

You will be his Queen soon. You should prepare yourself for that.”

Selene chuckled. “You know why I said that to you.’

Alina glanced at her. Selena smiled at her and said,

“You are the only one in his heart, Alina. You are his mate and you are the Queen of his heart.”
