The next morning,

Alina was sitting on the bed while looking outside. She felt like a dead human. Her wolf wanted to go for a run but she could not let her wolf free. She was caged now. That meant her wolf was also caged.

Looking outside he saw the weather was gloomy. The sky was not clear. The climate was changing just like her life was changing.

She heard a knock. She got down from the bed and opened the door. She was surprised when she saw Silvia.

“Good morning, Alina.” Silvia said.

“Good morning.” Alina replied.

“What were you doing?” Silvia asked and looked behind Alina. The room was much smaller than Luca’s room, almost one-fourth of Lucas’s room.

“Nothing, I was just watching the weather.”

” Let’s go outside. You should tour me the whole pack house with me.” Silvia said.

Alina thought for a second then replied,

“I can show the king’s residence but I can not go out of here.”

Silvia frowned. “Why is that?”

“The king’s order.”

“Oh.”

Silvia nodded. “Okay then show me the royal palace. Actually, you know I just came here yesterday and I don’t know anyone here.”

“Sure,” Alina said and came out of her room.

They wandered around and talked for some time.

“You did not go back after vacation?” Silvia asked about the university.

Alina shook her head. “No. And I will never be able to go back.”

Silvia bit her lower l*p. She was very curious to know about Alina. She wanted to know how and why all of this happened.

“I am sorry if I will offend you but can you tell me why you are here like this?” She asked and looked away.

Alina was quiet. Silvia thought she offended her.

“I am sorry, Alina.”

Many maids were walking beside them. They were shocked when they saw a new face in the royal palace.

The palace was the residence of the king only. Even the officials lived on the other side, not here.

Silvia looked at the maid who was passing them. The maids looked away and did what they were doing, thinking that Silvia was someone important to the king.

“Did you meet others?” Alina asked.

“No.”

“Then you should meet others.”

“You mean the soon to be Queen?”

“I mean the Queen Mother.” Alina replied.

“Sure.”

Alina was about to go back to her room but Silvia licked her arm with Alina. Alina was surprised by her sudden action.

“You are coming with me.” Silvia said and started to go outside with Alina.

“But the king said-“

“Don’t worry Lucas said you can also walk around the pack house. So it is not a problem.”

Alina nodded and walked out of the king’s residence. She knew everyone was eager to insult her but she had to talk with Crystal. She wanted to know about her parents. So if she wanted to know, she had to talk to Crystal.

They came to the living room. Silvia saw one middle aged woman and two young women sitting on the couch. Their backs were facing her. Her steps halted.

Alina turned to Silvia. “What happened?”

“I didn’t see them when I came to the king’s residence. I am nervous now.”

Daisy heard whispers so she turned her head and saw a girl with Alina. She stood up. Looking at her, the other two also stood up.

“Who are you?” Daisy asked Silvia.

Silvia looked at Daisy and bowed to Daisy. She understood that it was none other than the Queen’s mother Daisy.

Daisy was waiting for Silvia’s reply. Alina got that Silvia was nervous so she was about to reply on her behalf.

“She is Silvia, Lu-“

Crystal interrupted her. “Silvia? Aren’t you in the same class as us? What are you doing here?” Crystal asked. Her eyes fell on Silvia’s arm which was locked with Alina’s arm.

“Classmate? Are you from this pack?” Daisy asked.

Silvia nodded her head. Alina unlocked her arm from Silvia’s arm and signaled her to go to Daisy and introduce herself.

Silvia nodded to Alina and went to Daisy.

“Yes, I am from this pack. I came for a vacation but-“

Crystal did not let her complete her sentence. “But what? What are you doing in the pack house? Did you come here to meet Alina? Did she call you to come here? Did she want help for escaping from here?”

Hearing Crystal Daisy and Selena both got angry. In fact after yesterday, Selena was really furious at Alina.

Because of Alina, she had to face insults. Her future husband held the hand of his slave and warned others not to raise any finger at his slave. Though he indicated about her too in his word, still he did not hold her hand but Alina’s. So Selena started to hate Alina.

“How dare you call your friends in our pack house? What are you thinking about yourself? Are you a princess of our pack or the Queen?” Selena said to Alina.

Alina was calm. She was just enduring the insults. She was feeling nothing. All of her self respect was washed away the moment King Aaron made her his slave.

“Why are you not answering?” Daisy asked Alina.

Alina sighed and looked at her. Daisy thought she was a bold woman. She thought her son was the reason for Alina’s bold behavior.

“What should I answer? You all never try to complete any sentence.”

Crystal frowned. “How dare you talk to our Queen like that? You are such a mannerless woman, Alina. She always liked you and supported you but you never respected her inside your heart, I knew it. But Aunt Daisy never tried to understand me. She always thought me evil but the real culprit was you.”

Silvia looked at Crystal. Hearing his speech all the nervousness faded away from her heart.

“Stop talking nonsense, Crystal.” She said to Crystal.

Crystal glared at her. “How dare you! I am the royal witch of this pack.”

Silvia nodded at her.

“And I am the mate of the Beta of your pack.”
