“How dare you put off your Slavery tag from your neck, Slave?”

Tears dripped from Alina’s eyes. She did not look away from him. She was staring at him with her sad eyes.

This man broke her heart again. She was a foolish woman who thought he trusted her finally.

How funny she was that she thought like that!

He marked her and told her that he was not in his right mind. He kept insulting her in front of everyone.

She should have understood that he made her a slave because of this. When he said he would make her life hell, he actually meant it.

“Aaron, you can’t say that.” Beta Lucas said to Aaron.

Aaron glared at him. “You don’t have to tell me what I can say or not. Don’t come between my matters now. This time I will not let you slide from this matter.”

Alina wiped her tears and said,

“Lucas, you don’t have to take a stand for me. It’s okay.”

She smiled coldly at Aaron.

“You are right, my King. I will take care of my Slavery tag. I will not put off the neck lock until the day my innocence gets proven. If I will die with the blame then the tag will bury with me…” She stopped and turned her head to Daisy and continued,

“After all, I am a slave.”

Then Alina left the linking launch and went back to her room in the king’s residence.

Aaron also went to his office. His officials followed him.

Lucas yelled at Aaron. “You marked her then why don’t you set her free from the slavery?”

Aaron glared at him. “Don’t tell your King.”

Gamma George shook his head. “Aaron, please calm down and try to understand the matter first. If she proved innocent then you would regret it.”

“Why are you still letting her live? If you think she is innocent then prove it to me. A king only believes in the proof. I gave her countless times to prove herself.

Ask her if I gave her time to prove it again or not. What did she prove? She again tried to run away from the chance and took another man’s hand.”

Delta Darren sat on the couch. They believed in Alina. Lucas and George told them the truth. Though they did not believe what they heard at first, they thought Crystal could do that. She was the royal witch.

“That bitch Crystal is the main reason for all of this, Aaron.” Theta Cooper cursed Crystal.

“Don’t try to drag someone before proving me. My mother did not lie to me. She kept saying she saw Alina killing my dad. Can’t you understand my mom? She was the one who supported Alina from the start.

How could she lie to me?

Imagine someone is killing someone in front of you all and you said it to me. Will I disbelieve you all? No, I can’t.”

“She played mind games.” Delta Darren said.

“There is nothing like that. We werewolves are not the kind of powerless creatures that anyone can easily grab in our minds.

But I saw Alina going to the other side of the Blue Moon. She went to the royal witch there. She is the one who is learning magic. Why did she need this when she was a werewolf herself? We have power by moon goddess, we did not need to do magic.”

Hearing Aaron everyone was silent. There were so many puzzles that even if they wanted they could not prove Crystal the murderer. But it was true that they believed that Alina was innocent and inside their hearts, they also knew that Aaron was also trying to trust Alina. Otherwise, he would never mark her.

“Then why did you mark her?” Lucas asked.

“I said that. I was drunk.”

“Are you serious? Or you don’t have balls to accept tha-“

Before Lucas could complete Aaron grabbed his neck.

“Don’t try to play with my patience buddy.” Aaron said.

Lucas chuckled at him.

“Bastard, you still love her.”

Aaron’s hold loosen for a moment. But he immediately tightened his grip. “Stop it.”

He left him and went to sit on his chair behind his desk.

“You can lie to us, but how could you lie to yourself, Aaron?” Theta Cooper asked.

Aaron leaned his head against his chair and closed his eyes.

“You saved her by marking her, didn’t you?” Gamma George asked.

Aaron did not reply to them. They got their answer. Sometimes silence was the best answer.

“We are going now. Take your time then call us. We are always beside you.” Delta Darren said.

They left the office and Aaron opened his eyes.

He was looking out of the window. He was not drunk last night.

He was angry at Alina that she tried to marry someone else when he gave her time to prove herself again. She tried to make him a fool again.

He wanted to hurt her for that. But when he saw she was pure and told him the truth that she had never slept with others, he felt like making her his.

He forgot everything that time and made her his.

Every day, every time, every moment he wanted to believe in her. But how?

All the proof was against her. His own mother cried in front of him and told him what she saw.

In fact, she told him that his father called Alina’s name before his death.

How could he not trust his mother? And the way Alina again tried to get another throne, it somehow proved that she was after the Luna or Queen’s position. She killed his father to become his Queen.

Crystal was walking back and forth in her room. She was calling her aunt Darcy but she was not picking up calls.

“Where are you aunt? I need you.” Crystal said and tried to dial the number again.

Her aunt received the call.

“Crystal.”

“Where are you??? I have been calling you but you are not receiving my call. Why??”

“Why are you so hyper?”

“Something really happened. Are you at your home?”

“Yes, I am just sick. But if you want to come you can.”

“Okay, I am coming.” Crystal said and hung up.

She began to get ready and went out of her room.

Daisy stopped her. Daisy was consoling Selena that everything would be okay but saw Crystal going somewhere so she stopped her.

“Where are you going?” Daisy asked.

Crystal closed her eyes annoyingly. Then turned to Daisy. “My friend is sick. So I am going there.”

Daisy looked at her suspiciously then nodded.

“Okay go.”

Crystal turned around and rolled her eyes. ‘As if I was waiting for her permission.’ She said to herself and left the pack house.

Crystal came to a very old house. The house was not in a crowded area but beside the forest.

Crystal entered the house without knocking because she had the key to this house.

“Aunt, what happened to you?” Crystal asked when she saw her aunt lying on the bed.

Darcy the old witch shook her head.

“Nothing. What happened? Why are you in such a hurry?”

“You can’t believe our plan was just destroyed.”

Darcy frowned and stood up.

“Why?”

“I told you that Aaron made Alina his slave but now he marked her. She is now Aaron’s mate.”

“WHAT?” Darcy’s eyes widened.

Crystal nodded her head. “I was so angry that time, Aunt. I wanted to go and kill that woman at that time. But I restrained myself from doing anything. Otherwise, she would have died right now.”

“Relax, my child.”

“How, Aunt? How? We planned so many things together. We did and even succeeded. But now half of our plan got destroyed by that woman again.”

Darcy waited for some moment and looked back at Crystal.

“What do you want now then?”

“What are you saying, Aunt?”

“You know that we did not try to stop her from becoming the Luna, actually we tried to stop Aaron from making a mark on her. We did not want them to be one. But now fate did what it wrote on their forehead dear.”

Crystal was stunned. “How can you say this Aunt? You always helped me. I can not lose this battle. My mother gave her life in this battle. She was your sister. You saw her struggles right? She wanted me to become the Queen. I know that without marking it was not possible. But Daisy is very eager to make Selena the Queen. That means I still have a chance here.”

Darcy was silent. Crystal did not like it.

“Why are you so quiet? You have to make another plan Aunt. We can not lose please.”

Darcy sighed and nodded.

A smile came to Crystal’s lips. “Do you have another plan?”

Darcy replied,

“This time the target is someone else but the killer will be the same.”

Crystal asked, “Who?”

“Selena.”

“What?”

Darcy nodded her head.

“You can kill Selena and put all the blame on Alina, just like you did before.”
