“MEET ME IN TEN MINUTES IN THE FOREST SIDE, DON’T MAKE ME WAIT, DARLING.”

Alina was shocked. Her eyes widened. She turned her head to the side where the guard was standing and looked at him.

The guard was looking down at the floor. She got angry at the guard that he was a traitor.

“Y-You betrayed your Alpha?” She said angrily to the guard without cutting the call. She forgot in that situation that the man who called her was still on the call.

She heard Aaron.

“Don’t you dare say anything to my man. He is one of my pack fighters.”

Alina felt like she was almost breathless. She did not know where everything was going.

She got her courage and replied.

“I will not come. Today is my wedding. I don’t want to meet you.”

She heard a chuckle. She tightened her fists.

“If you will not come here in ten minutes, it’s totally okay with me because my Lycans are ready to devour your lover’s pack. They are eager to fight and win another territory.”

“No, how can you say that? This pack is under alliance agreement.” Alina reminded him.

“What would we protest about the law when the head Alpha of this pack died? No one would do anything because everyone knows who they would face off.”

“W-Why are you doi-“

“Stop wasting time, Darling. You have wasted your one minute already. Do as you wish. Your time is running out. Tick tock, tick tock.” Aaron cut the call.

Alina did not remove the phone from her ear. She was traumatized. She could not understand what was happening to her. She wanted to give up, she wanted to give up on her life.

Because of her, so many lives were at risk right now.

The guard looked at her and said,

“Let’s go.”

Alina came to her senses when she heard the guard.

She gave his phone back to him. Her mind could not process anything right now.

‘What should I do? He is waiting to attack the pack? This pack is in danger because of me? But If I go there, he will kill me. Should I contact Rick?’

She thought for a moment then shook her head. ‘No, I can’t tell her anything. He will not let me go to Aaron. He will try to protect me again just like he is trying to protect me by this prepone wedding ceremony. I can not let anything happen to him or his people. They saved my life until now. I can not take any risk.’

She turned her head to the guard. “Wait here.’

She went to her desk where books were arranged for reading.

She took a pen and paper and then wrote down what she wanted to say to Alpha Rick.

‘Rick,

I have to go. I can not marry you. I am so sorry that you have to bear humiliation but I can not let you and your people’s lives in danger.

Aaron has warned me that he will attack your pack. He said he doesn’t care about any alliance or law.

I am sorry, Rick, that I am telling you this in person. I know that you can not let me go and tell me that you will find some way to save me.

But Rick, what about your parents and what about your friends and your pack members?

I know you are a very powerful Alpha but your parents need you, Rick. You need them.

I am going now. But I know you will do better in your position. You will be one of the best Alpha in history. You are really a good man and you saved my life. I owe you one.

Don’t search for me. I want you to live a powerful life with a good woman who will teach you how to love.

Alina stood up and looked at the clock. She only had four minutes.

She walked to her closet and opened it. She took out a black cloth and a black scarf. She wanted to hide her face so that no one would see her and stop her.

She told the guard, ‘I am coming. Just a moment.’

She went to the bathroom and changed her clothes to a black ones.

She wore the scarf to give her face. Only her eyes were visible.

She came out of the bathroom and said, “Let’s go.”

The guard nodded to her and opened the door. He looked around the both sides and saw a few women were standing there.

He went to them and told them to go to the living room.

“No, we are the bride’s makeup artists. She is changing clothes. Her hair remains to be done. So we are waiting for that.” One of the women said.

The guard glared at all of them. “It’s Alpha’s order. So go now. Come some time later.”

Those women thought Alpha would come to meet his bride before the ceremony so they agreed and laughed then they left the hallway.

The guard went back to the room and told Alina to follow him.

Alina nodded and went behind him but she was stunned when she saw the guard not going to the entrance but instead going somewhere else.

“Where are you taking me?” She asked.

“Don’t talk here. We are going from the backside.”

‘Backside?’ Alina thought but did not stop walking.

She saw another stair that was leading them another way.

They came out of the pack house from the back side and entered the forest area.

The guard knew that this way was totally clear because all the people in this pack house were busy preparing for the crown ceremony which was arranged in the ballroom.

The guard started to run and Alina was running behind the guard. She did not know where the guard was taking her.

Something touched her leg and she almost flipped but she controlled her body and stood straight.

The guard looked nervous. “Don’t get hurt anywhere. My king will kill me if you get hurt.”

Alina chuckled and thought, ‘This naive guard did not know what he was saying. His king wants me because he wants to kill me. But this guard is thinking that he cares about me.’

She shook her head and said to him to continue.

When they almost came to the end of the forest, the guard halted walking.

In front of him was his King, King Aaron.

Alina felt chilled down her body and heart. She believed that he would kill her anytime soon.

Her legs were wobbling and her hands were shaking. Her heartbeat was running faster.

Her body was not in her control anymore.

The man standing in front of him was none other than the ruthless king who wanted to take revenge on her for his father.

He would kill her anytime soon. His brutal and dark aura was making her mind insane.

Aaron did not look at her but looked at his guard.

The guard said, “As you told me, I took her here, my king.”

“You did well. Now go back to your pack. You don’t have to stay here with a fake identity anymore.”

Alina sniffed when she listened to their conversation.

‘He set a spy on the Blue Moon pack. And Rick could not even get to know it.’

Alina looked down and gave up. She would not fight for herself anymore. She knew she lost her last chance so she wanted to give up now.

No matter how much she tried to run away, this man would grab her again. So it was better for her to accept her bad luck.

The guard bowed to Aaron and headed forward to the outside of the forest. His work was over.

Alina was alone with Aaron. She was thinking that Aaron made her fook when he said that he would attack this pack with his Lycans.

But she did not see any Lycans there.

She was still staring at the ground. She did not dare to look up at him.

The sounds of crunching to her ears and she understood that Aaron was coming to her.

She stepped back and looked up at him.

She saw him smirking at her. He did not look like a soft man but a mad man who would kill her the next moment.

“What happened?
